Good list of games! Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World will keep lots busy. Zelda Link Between Worlds will as well.

I watched this run as it happened. I still prefer 100% OoT runs since you get to see a lot more of the game. Cosmo is the man.

I will keep my eye on this! Really cool idea. I don't own Wii Sports U Baseball so I can't do the first challenge. I'm hoping that they maybe do a speed run contest playing as King Dedede in Kirby Triple Deluxe. That would be a rad challenge IMO!

Bill Trinen is definitely a one-of-a-kind type dude. I really enjoy hearing him speak about stuff and translate for the gaming God, Miyamoto.

I'm very excited for this game! I'm a fan of "the old way" but this sounds like a very fun and stream-lined setup.

I didn't expect any news on this coming to NA, but if it does, I'll buy it day one. Great series.

I'd rather Lucina be a skin and Chrom be playable, but I'm also fine with this. They made Lucina fight different than Marth, they could have done the same for Chrom.

I think it's sad that people complain about this. Sure, if I had the option, I'd pick a physical reward, but free games are always great. Sony and Microsoft do not do this. I chose Game and Wario. It was the only game on the list I did not own BUT I've been meaning to picking it up for a bit. Fun little party and family friendly game for us.

@Amateur Why would Chrom be an alternate costume for Lucina? If anything, Lucina would be one for Marth. I wish Chrom was playable!

Mango won! I was rooting for M2K, Armada, and HBox. Glad to see HBox make it to Grand Finals and put up a decent fight. Great competitive matches. Was so stoked to see Smash Bros up there again. Maybe next year EVO can do Smash 4. I need to catch up on Street Fighter and Killer Instinct.

I've played them all and Ocarina of Time is my favorite.

@Kaze_Memaryu also safe to say lots of kids these days started with TP when they got their first console, the wii. lol

That really sucks. This was going to be a day one buy for me on the WiiU, as I wanted a realistic-type racing game for this console. I don't know if I'll buy it on another platform just yet... depends all on what I have to play at that time.

w00t!!! I'm hoping by "new" they mean a new and not returning, although either is perfectly fine. I'm hoping for Chrom or Shulk honestly. I'd love to see King K Rool as well. As far as returning... anyone.

@DiscoGentleman It does. It's a little faster than Brawl, but not quite as fast as Project M or Melee. It's a perfect mix of the two IMO.

Awesome! Great little interview! I follow both of these players a ton, so always good to see stuff like this. The landing lag for Smash 4 does concern me a little, but I think, like Mew2King said, it's going to be a little different for each character. (I'm scared Link's is going to be bad though lol). When I played Smash 4 at Smash Fest, the only one I noticed it on was Mega Man, and it really did not seem that bad. I was able to recover quick. As far as the graphics go, they're both really comparing it to Brawl and PM, and it is a huge step up from those games (as MK8 was to MKWii). I highly recommend watching "The Smash Brothers" documentary as they've mentioned. It's a 9 video series and really really good.

@Caryslan Very well! It was very smooth (60 fps will do that!). I only got to play a few minutes of Smash Run and a 2 minute FFA match, but it played great! I was able to do a few advanced techniques and put together some combos. It also looked fantastic. The circle pad of 3DS was very sensitive - I never had one issue moving around to where I needed to go.

The WiiU version was the obviously better version though. It's the definite buy for big smash bros fans.

I played this version (and WiiU version) at Best Buy. Both felt fantastic! I loved the 3DS Smash Run mode. I played as Lil Mac and although he had issues with climbing the platforming parts of the level, he was a beast. Loved the mode. Also played a 4 player free for all and won a match as him. Can't wait for this game to come out!

@Geonjaha Possibly on self centered, but I do alert them so they have the news faster. At least several times a month. It's just kind of rude to see other people get credit, and for me they link the source. Oh well though, love the site.

I don't think this is even worth talking about IMO. It's just a visual change and he got the Pokemon from trading. Not a big deal IMO.

Good point about the bonuses! Although we don't know if that's true, we can only hope. As far as the controls go, I'm really quick at adapting to controls. Originally, I wasn't going to have Bayonetta 1 on WiiU, so I was prepared to jump into the sequel on new controls, you know? Pro Controller all the way. But yeah I may just have to take 1 again and then go to the sequel.

Nice!!! I'd prefer the separate disc. Now, the question is, since I've played through Bayonetta 1 on Xbox 360 but it's been forever... do I replay it first on WiiU? or jump right into Bayonetta 2? I think 2 is what I'll be doing, but we'll see.

This game looks incredible! The graphic style alone makes me more interested, as I'm a huge fan of SNES and N64 games. Great write-up NintendoLife! I will be following this game in great detail. I'm wondering what kind of street pass stuff they can add.

On a side note, I'd love to see Harvest Moon 64 come to WiiU/3DS VC or even be remade.

No thanks. We have the first TMNT game on 3DS based off the cartoon and it's a lot of fun. I will be passing on this. I'll watch the movie to see... but I don't have much faith in it. And yes, I AM a fan of change.

Eh. My son switches it up between his 3DS and games on my iPhone... there's room for both, but you can't compare the two in terms of quality. 3DS game quality is much much higher. lol

@AVahne yeah, i tried gardening mama on DS and it was okay IMO. Was not hooked. It made me want to play Harvest Moon, so I did.

@AVahne You're going to complain about 5 Cooking Mama games when there's 10 Call of Duty games? Seriously!???? I kid, I kid!!! I bought the first game on Wii because my wife and I had a blast when we rented it. I bought her the 2nd version of it and it wasn't as fun. She got the first game that came to DS and it was okay... but yeah, to us, it was a one and done experience. It was fun and we may try it again someday, but I think we are good. Not bashing it though.

@B3ND3R Dang, sounds like a rough group, sorry. Everyone at the one I drove to had 3DSs. lol. I drove an hour and a half to this Best Buy. There were almost 100 people in front of us when we got there an hour early as well.

I went on Wednesday. My friend Jordan and I showed up an hour early (3PM) and played the game at 7PM on the dot. While in-line, I got to play two matches of the 3DS version of Smash 4. We got to play two, two-minute matches of Smash 4 on WiiU. We got over 100 street passes... and the line was out the door when we left at 7:30. It was an awesome experience. I know more than half of the people there didn't get to play the game though. The swag we got was pretty cool as well!

@WiiLovePeace Sums up my thoughts exactly. I'm not interested in what everyone thinks about the WiiU's success and failures. I'm a gamer and I play games and right now, I have stuff to play that I'm happy about. More stuff coming and that's just great!
