After moving out and studying I needed money to pay rent. I sold most of my N64 games that were all in mint condition boxes and a couple of snes games. I also threw away over 50 copies of the Official Nintendo Magazine. I thought it was part of growing up ..maybe I never grew up 😅

It always makes me sad thinking about it. Especially games like Yoshi's Island, Killer Instinct, Mario Kart, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Vigilante 8, Jet Force Gemini and so forth

Thanks to articles like this we can maximise awareness and give more people the idea to expose themselves in a family game! 🙌

I believe Kamek was also in MK64 while the game was in development. They took him out before release tho.

@Snatcher No harm done of course! Thanks for clarifying yourself tho. I'm an amature animator myself en therefore I've been a fan of Illumination's work, mainly because of the animation level. So I can get a bit protective when people claim otherwise Illumination did get a lot of backlash for being the chosen studio to make the Mario Movie. No worries tho, I see it was just a misunderstanding Cheers!

@Snatcher I disagree with your statement. Saying that it's only recently that Illumination has become good at animation. Despicable Me is a fantastic movie with great animation and original story. The movie did very well for good reason. The problem I think were the minions as they became so popular they were everywhere. Then people got tired of the minions and that's when the Minion movie came out. Big mistake. It doesn't say anything about their animation skills though. There is a good reason Nintendo chose Illumination to make the Mario movie.

'second-rate CGI'?? Are we talking about the same movie? Also I feel reviews for this movie might be better on the game sites. IGN gave it an 8 out of 10. That is quite the difference from what I see here. It is a movie for the gamers right? Just saying.

While you lot are all focused on Metroid, my excitement goes to Excitebike 64! And I don't even have the expansion. That game is fire!

This one was rough to get through. I retired at rank champion. I feel most people chose white for the ink color. On top of that, I believe white choc is quite popular in Asia. This makes me feel it was inevitable white was gonna win.. I chose dark myself -_-

Just got the base game a week ago, my first ever Monster Hunter! Love seeing that it's still active ..I still have to start playing online tho, don't think I'm quite there yet, still learning!

Another BIG pro for digital: you don't need to change gamecards to play different games. It's nice to be lazy.

I think Chris Prat did a great job. Also, MARIO FINALLY HAS A NECK in the movie, which he does not in the games. Why is no one talking about that?

Mario finally has a neck! His head doesn't sit awkwardly between his shoulders like the games. I think they did a great job with the redesign without "seemingly" altering him too much. Looking forward!

@Deemo37 Well it turns out you CAN actually choose schedules (someone pointed this out to me). All I had to do is edit the widget (I run IOS), then you can choose which schedule you want to see. It's sadly only one schedule per widget so I have multiple widgets made on one page. But it works!

@PhazonEnhanced Oh I just figured it out! So I have ios and after creating the widget I can then edit the widget to change between schedules. Not very handy but at least it's there! Thanks for letting me know!

A widget for Ranked and Salmon Run schedule would be nice tho! And ofcourse the Splatnet Shop!
