People, think what you want about this game. I'm tired of all this. If this is how the gaming community is up when a new game comes out, I don't want to be a part of it. Zero tolerance and demanding, demanding, demanding. No chance to try something new, because you could hurt the feelings of the fans.
Be that way. Stay in your little world and hold tight to what you think you gonna lose, but I'm not a person, who is afraid to go new ways.

No, if this is what you dislike, that is your problem. I'm an open person, who at least try new way and later say if this is something good or not. Like with Resident Evil 5 and 6. I played them, I disliked them and that's it. However, what we saw, was a demo, not the finished game. We have no idea what the game will be and there is still time to polish and change things. However, you all already made your judgement, so be it. I'm not here to change the opinion, I only say to give the game a chance and to wait until a playable version is out to make a judgement.
@blackerst Handling bad criticism and "jumping on the band wagon to destroy a game" are two different things. The most common thing here is, that everyone attacked a demo. This speaks enough for me to say that people are pretty biased. Especially, if they act like little children and make a petition to stop a game and saying "Nintendo owes them". Nope, they owe them jack. They just had a anger tantrum because their "toy" was not what they wanted. I'm really sick and tired how gamers nowadays act like when a new game comes out. The color of Mario's pants are not the right one. Fox looks too furry. The graphic sucks. This is not that game I wanted.
You know, this is on my list and I will buy it no matter how much hate this gets. I'm a Animal Crossing fan since Gamecube and I played since then every Animal Crossing game... and I will not miss this one or those cute Amiibos ^u^
Sorry, but none of them look interesting to me and Freedom Planet is on my pc... which wonders me, why would they make a port for Wii U and let the pc version unfinished?

Fanfic? Really? For me, Other M is a good game and not a "fanfic". Sakamoto developed the game with Nintendo and therefore, he has a right to change the story to a direction he things it should go. What I hate to hear, are fans who say "they ruined our game series". What do they owe? They owe nothing. They merely supported the games with their money, but that is all. People forget that this game is not their property. If they don't like the course of action in the Metroid games, then they should not buy it. That simply. It makes me mad because I know what it means to write a story and later hear from fans that "Person A should be with C together and not with B and should not act like this but this". The story is not theirs to command how to it will go, it is the right of the creators, who started and working on it. This is why the whole lamenting about Other M and Federation Force just makes me mad.
And speaking of Federation Force, there are new developments and infos about the game, so please, don't jump to conclusion and inform yourself before you call something bad, because this does not give the game any justice at all.
Update: Well I watched the 3rd treehouse for this game but I couldn't go on anymore. After the 7 minute mark i just turned it off. "Melee Trooper", really? It actually resembles a Space Pirate but jeez, these lame placeholder names are not helping the situation. It's like if a Mario game called a goomba a "Stompy thing" and a Koopa "Kicking thing". Sure, call it Metroid, just don't use any of the Metroid terminology. Do they think we're idiots?
@MadAdam81 I'm sorry, but Pokemon would never fit... to animal-like for me. But what do you expect from those small figurines? If the quality would be higher, you would pay more. I know this from the Four Horsemen and their figures. I agree with you about Metaknight, though. He would fit, but Zelda is to human-like, just like Link. Most of the Skylanders are monster-type creatures and Bowser as like DK fit perfectly.

Really, I think we all talked a lot about this topic and it really getting tired. Yes, people are mad about this because they didn't get their "aw-so-beloved-HD-super-realistic-Samus is badass hunter" Metroid game.
Allow me when I say "grow up". Life ain't easy and we don't get what we want every time (like me when I bought Metroid Prime and almost vomited on the screen because of the 3D effect). Nintendo got the message and I'm sure that a new "real" Metroid game will come and continue where Metroid Fusion ended. But see it like this; Nintendo wants to go new ways and tries new things. I mean, it is not their fault that they try to get a foot into the multiplayer games after so MANY people demanded it. And now, people are still not happy? Seriously, grow up to all the people who cried around. As I said, life ain't easy.
Somehow, I have the feeling that players got so damn demanding lately, that no game is good enough for them. Be happy to have a game to play and don't be so damn picky. After all, Nintendo could have gone the same road Capcom did with DMC and forces fans to buy the new physical version of DMC4 or they will finish the series once and for all... but I digress.
I'm looking into this game and I will play it to its core. I mean, Samus will appear just like the Metroids and will have a single player mode. What else does a normal mortal player need!? Just let it rest if you hate it so much, you can't change it anyway but only not buying it. But this "whining" or this childish try to stop the game from existing via a petition is ridiculous. @DarkNinja9 I have to disagree with you. Nintendo was always open to create new things and go ways other wouldn't go. They have at least the guts to try out something new and that is why I like them for that. This is why I is difficult for me with the PS4, because those games feel like the same stuff over and over again. This is why I have a problem to buy a new Sony console. But those are spinoffs, they are not new, they were always there and no one forces you to buy them. I'm sure a new Metroid game will come, but until then,we have to show patience, as hard as it sounds. But that won't keep me from buying a Nintendo console, because there will always be a game that I like since I know how Nintendo thinks. Maybe you see this differently, but that is okay. We have different tastes and that is cool. Far from it, it would be bad if we would like the same things.
What is so wrong in doing a spinoff from a game? We saw this so many times and yet no one was saying "Oh my, how horrible". Yet this game comes out and suddenly everyone is yelling and cursing.

I have to agree with @Yorumi here, @sp_initiate-001. It is one thing to defend something or someone, but insulting is will not give you any credits. I learned this in my past and let it go pretty fast. Be logical, offer argument and examples but never insult.

Samus is still the same hunter, who just shows a bit of her emotional side and all of a sudden, fans going insane. You just heard it somewhere and made your own conclusion, I can't say it differently. Other M started after Super Metroid, after Samus killed the... mhmmmm.... the whole planet with eveyone on it with ZERO chance to escape and then Other M happened. Kensuke Tanabe brought up some new points like that there will be a single player mode and Samus as like the Metroids will appear as well, if you read the rest, you know where to go. If people still complain about this game even after this, nothing will. Again, I will try it and see what I think about it.

@Skullcruncher No, the reason why I only use my Wii U and PS3 is, because the PS4 and Xbox One has nothing for me that would make me buy one of their consoles. That plain and simple. The game on those consoles are bland and boring for me. I can't change this, this is how I feel for those consoles.
@Yorumi I only hate one console company (next to some game devs like Capcom, Ubisoft and EA to call some of them ) and that is Microsoft. I plain hate them for fooling us and trying to spy on us. Sony is a different story; I still have all of their consoles and games and I'm happy with the PS1, 2 and 3. But the PS4... there is simply nothing that makes me buy a PS4. I wish that there would be more than one game to make me pick up a PS4, but that is sadly not the case and I feel it sad because I want to buy a PS4, but not for one game. That would be a waste of money.
"...a game with a gigantic universe..." I had such a game with Red Faction Armageddon and after a while, it gets boring. If you like this type of game, sure why not? I'm not saying that people should stop buying those games but only Nintendo games like Animal Crossing Happy House Designer or Amiibo Festival. Maybe it is just me, who doesn't like the grim and photo-realistic games. The thing with the 60 bucks boardgame is, that is has a theme, that is familiar to me and gives me a smile after a hard day at work, where I can forget my sorrows and worries for the next day, even if only for 2 or 3 hours. Does this stop me from playing Just Cause 2 or Uncharted? No, far from it as I mentioned above with Red Faction Armageddon. But, and believe me or not and take it like you want, those next gen games look just bland to me. I don't know why, it is just the feeling I have and had when I looked at The Last of Us. It was just not my type of tea, I guess and that is why I feel how I feel for Nintendo games. But who know, maybe Nintendo will vanish one day and then, I have to go somewhere else and deal with it. Nobody knows what the future will bring.
Let me tell you what game was made me want to buy a PS4; Uncharted 4. That's it. This was the only games I liked from their look on the PS4.
@Yorumi Ever thought that people buy Amiibos and other "toy to life" miniatures because they are collectors and like to have them on the shelf? For me, this a great treasure, but again, I can only speak for myself, not for anyone else.
About those games you mentioned: Star Ocean 4, Final Fantasy 7 remake, KH3, Horizon, No Man's Sky, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront... I watched the trailers and gameplay videos but none of them were my cup of tea.
Star Ocean 4 - never interested me. Final Fantasy 7 remake - I played the original, why playing it again? Kingdom Hearts 3 - I tried the series, had no appeal to me, even though I am a Disney fan.
Horizon - It looks like Monster Hunter and I dislike this the Monster Hunter games.
No Man's Sky - Has no appeal to me. Fallout 4 - I dislike FPS, their boring to me. Star Wars Battlefront - Not a fan of it.

It has nothing to do with loyalty that someone likes a game, which is not as powerful as maybe other games. This is call 'having a different taste', nothing else and no, Nintendo is not doom as you like to display so well. There is always a way to solve a problem, whether you believe this or not. I really can't believe this after all those negative comments and hate paroles. Sure, as I said above to @Boxmonkey, not everyone like the same as others and that is okay, but to get so aggressively really scares me to be honest and people can call a wuss, I don't care. However, it worries me that people getting so mad about video games, so insanely angry that I see them with forks and torches burning down the Nintendo HQ for not getting what they want. Maybe it takes not much to make me happy, but then again, is that something bad?
Was I the only one who enjoyed the show and wasn't disappointed!? I really can't see how "horrible" it went down as you all say and no, I'm not trolling or anything. I'm pretty much honest at this point.
But there is something else that wonders me; Why are you still here? Why are you not selling your Wii U and 3DS and go over to Sony and Microsoft if you all are so disappointed by Nintendo? Wouldn't that be the next logical step?
To me, Sony couldn't convince me with their games, because they had no appeal to me whatsoever, not even Uncharted 4, which was actually one reason to possibly buy a PS4 slim... but now, this bubble is burst as well.
For me, and this might sound weird for some of you maybe, Nintendo is the only developer I still like. I can imagine that this bothers some of you and other can maybe not understand why, but it is the truth. The PS3 had a lot of titles I liked, but the PS4... none.
Now, you can call me whatever you like, down-vote or hate me for liking Nintendo, but I can't change my feelings or likes. Maybe my likes are different that yours about games, but I won't and will not follow the herd or change my mind just because some people say so. That wouldn't be me anymore.
So if you guys hate Nintendo for this, that is your decision and I won't try to change you. But the question stays... why are you still here if Nintendo disappointed you so much?
@khaosklub Broken Age is not the best example one should take to say that kickstarter games are safe to support. Tim Schafer made a great mess with this kickstarter because he was unable household the budget for this game and needed more money for it. In the end, the game was not what it was planned and a horrible ending was simply squeezed into to finish the game. Really, don't take this game as a good example, take this one: Pier Solar HD.

@DaemonSword The package is not even out and you talk about ripping Nintendo. How do you know, that those ports are good? Remember, we're talking about Microsoft and how horrible they go with game they don't make and use devs which are so horrible, that the whole gameplay and design is ruined completely. I mean, they made a new Conker game inside Project Spark... the result is devastating and on top of it episodic. Why do I have the feeling that this way of selling games will ruin the gaming industry?
@ToxieDogg I would kill to get a cheap complete version of Conker Bad Fur Day, but even the game itself would be enough for me. About the package, I fear that those games will be part of Project Spark, just like Conker and episodic. Microsoft will milk the fandom of those games like Killer Instinct and I will not support this. To me, this is not giving back something to the fans, but ignorant and money-hungry methods to lure people to Xbox One and pull their money out of the pockets. They should create a whole game with their own game engine instead with this poor "Little Big Planet for poor people" Project Spark.
@CharleSketch In a way relative since all those Rare games were on Nintendo consoles and it is not that bad to hear what other companies do. It is not like we hear no stories about Sony as well.
People, this is just to lure old fans of those games to buy an Xbox One, nothing else. Team Dakota uses Project Spark to make Conker Big Reunion and to be honest, it just looks ugly. Even the port on Xbox Classic (the first Xbox) was horrible. I know that I sound like a fanboy, but sadly, the best port of Conker was on the N64. Yes, it had clunky graphic and no costumes like on the Xbox port, but as I said many times before "graphics are no important [for me] but storyline and gameplay". It was a blast and I loved every minute of this game. Sadly, I only rent the game and never bought it and nowadays, this game of the N64 is so rare and expensive, that you have to pay more than 200 bucks for the game only and for a complete set way beyond. But that doesn't change the fact, that I will now get myself an Xbox One only to get this game. I dislike Microsoft even so I was a fan before with the Xbox 360, but they lost my trust with all the things they came up in their presentation with the Xbox One and nothing will give this trust back. And seriously, Conker in Project Spark looks horrible... at least for me.

@adamatsu You can't predict how many people want to buy this DLC and how many people want to buy something else. All I say is, no matter where you buy a game or DLC (Nintendo EShop / PS Network / Xbox Market), there can be lags or delays if new and wanted games and DLCs are fresh out. One has always remember to this. No matter how big your servers are, there is a limit and if this is reached, nothing can help you to smooth the traffic. Speaking of it, does anyone knows how big the Nintendo severs are? I mean, it is easy to say that they have bad servers, but I never heard someone talked about their tech, so saying "they have bad servers" is a pretty wage statement.
@Action51 The well-known "My cookie doesn't fit into my glass of milk" problem. People don't understand that when the servers are at the limits, they have to wait until all the earlier downloads are done. But no, they want it now, right now and at best yesterday.
Dear people and friends, have patience and don't just throw rocks at Nintendo just because your download is slow at a time, where someone gets online, that everyone wants and tries to download. Think and try to keep a keen head It is not like those DLCs are limited. They are endless and won't run out, so calm down and wait.
Wow... this blew me away. I mean, Ryu really rocks like back in the SNES version (my favored version of SF)... but all those costumes and crossovers; Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Megaman X and Network. My wallet will be dry after this. AWESOME!!

A Metroid game in the cinematic of Other M and its gameplay would be fine by me. I dislike Prime because it was actually the only FPS that gave me a really bad case of vertigo. A normal Metroid game (jump 'n' run style) is all I want.
When I have to be honest, the most thing that bugged me with Sonic Boom was not the bugs itself, but the story. It was just mediocre and boring; Eggman went down to a servant level while Lyric stole the spotlight of the villain role. Not even Shadow did this in Sonic Adventure 2. About the 3DS game; I merely played the demo, but I was not really hooked, because the gameplay was not really convincing me to buy the game. And now this game. It actually reminds me to Sonic Advance, which is by far nothing wrong, since I loved Sonic Advance, especially the third game. If there will be a demo, I guess I will try it, but then again, there is that thing with the story element. As I said many time before, a story is for me the most important thing in a game, and if this is not given or mediocre written, this game will suck for me and that would be the worst scenario, since it was such a long time since Sonic Unleashed, that I played a Sonic game which was compelling to me.

If this really helps to get games here in Germany, that are allowed with no problems anywhere else, I more than welcome this new rating system. The USK is such a roadblock in that kind of way and ruined developers to publish their games here in Germany, while gamers never were allowed to play those games. I really hope that this change it all with IARC.

I could care less for all of those 30+ million people, because everyone has a different taste and I have no favor for the PS4 or the Xbox One since they can't deliver a reason to buy one of their consoles because there is no game that would make me buy a PS4 or Xbox One. But to answer your question... yes. I met a lot of people, who bragged how cool their console is, but when I asked them what good games they have, they only came with HD remastered games like The Last of Us, Tomb Raider or games that were so disappointing like Destiny, Dead Rising 3 or The Order 1887.

That is your opinion and I have nothing against it if you feel that way. But to compare MKX with Mario World 3D is like comparing an apple with an egg; both are completely different in gameplay and design as like age groups. But again, if you like this game, go for it. I dislike the MK series after part 3 on the SNES, not because it was brutal, but boring for me. The fatalities were silly and the story just dull. But before you say "you don't need a story for MK", for me, a story is more important than any graphic or gameplay because a game without a story is useless for me. Yes, there are game like Smash or Splatoon, where a story is not necessarily important, but those are rare examples. For me, a good game must have a story that connects me with the game, otherwise it is just wasted time.
@FLUX_CAPACITOR As far as I know, SuckerFreeGames owes the Cheetahmen Trademark and apparently, there is a Cheetahmen 3 game in progress, but I lost track about it. There was even a kickstarter for a remake of the Cheetahmen 2, but it was a pure scam since they wanted 60 bucks for a rom of the old game with a bug fix to finish the game; something you could get for free on the internet.
@Yorumi Back in the 80s and 90s, after Atari killed the video game market in NA and people dissed video games, Nintendo had the guts to step up and do something no one dared. Sega and others like Hudson followed Nintendo and failed to deliver the same quality. This is why people say Nintendo is video gaming back in the day; they had no real challenges. But nowadays, people are too fixated on graphics and power, the true meaning of gaming, having fun and forgetting the sorrow of the real life, is lost.
I'm not saying that Nintendo is doing it the right way, no sir, they did a lot of damage to themselves, but when I compare games between Nintendo and Sony... Nintendo is winning for the most cases. Why? Well, because most of them are entertaining and fun, at least in my eyes. Games for PS4 (or Xbox One) are more "be the elite" standards to me, which I dislike because their just graphics and no game feeling and just look what trophies and achievements made out of us gamers. I dislike to see achievements on some Wii U games as well, because those do nothing at all for the game itself. But I digress.
I wish that Sony would go back to the days, when they released the PS1 and made games themselves. They were fun as hell and on the same entertainment level as of Nintendo, but nowadays, there is no game on the PS4, which would convince me to get a PS4, because some of them are on other consoles as well. This is why I stay for now with Nintendo and once Sony will ever come up with something entertaining and exclusive for their console, I guess I will get myself a Sony console again.

It would be nice to see the ol' blue bomber coming back, but I believe that "if" this happens, it will take more than Megaman 9 and 10 for 3DS to give the community justice or even a reason to come back. After all, all the Megaman NES games are on 3DS already and the SNES games are on Wii U. Capcom really has to make something new with the Megaman franchise to attract the fans and I doubt that they will make Megaman Legends 3 (the fan game is still coming, right?). Anyway, I really hope that Capcom will get their act together about this and if not, sell the license of Megaman to a different company, that can make some good use and justice for the fans of Megaman unlike Konami with Bomberman or Bloody Roar sighs
@Kmno I can understand that you're not a fan of games, that look like a kids game, but the bigger question is... will they deliver what they promise? The problem with MN9 in my eyes is, that it could end up as a promised product that will end into a disaster. I saw the last trailer and I have to admit that I had mixed feelings when I saw MN9 and MN1. So I know where you're coming from. I can only tell you what I told most of my friends, which were unsure if they should support those games or not; if you don't know, wait until the game is out and then make your judgement. A review can't really tell you much about a game, a video only a little but to play the game by yourself is a completely different story and since MN9 will come out as physical product, I'm sure you can at least rent this one someday. Maybe Yooka-Laylee will follow one day. Hey, it could happen.
I have mixed feelings with this "Wii U port" thing. Surely, they say that it will come to the Wii U, but what if the same happens like to Project Cars? People are promising way too much as that they can deliver. I believe this only when I see the final result.

People, think what you want about this game. I'm tired of all this. If this is how the gaming community is up when a new game comes out, I don't want to be a part of it. Zero tolerance and demanding, demanding, demanding. No chance to try something new, because you could hurt the feelings of the fans.

@Kaze_Memaryu Oh, and because of the earlier games, it is an unwritten rule to not change the character, their nature or the universe because fans demand this, right? No, if this is what you dislike, that is your problem. I'm an open person, who at least try new way and later say if this is something good or not. Like with Resident Evil 5 and 6. I played them, I disliked them and that's it. However, what we saw, was a demo, not the finished game. We have no idea what the game will be and there is still time to polish and change things. However, you all already made your judgement, so be it. I'm not here to change the opinion, I only say to give the game a chance and to wait until a playable version is out to make a judgement.

@blackerst Handling bad criticism and "jumping on the band wagon to destroy a game" are two different things. The most common thing here is, that everyone attacked a demo. This speaks enough for me to say that people are pretty biased. Especially, if they act like little children and make a petition to stop a game and saying "Nintendo owes them". Nope, they owe them jack. They just had a anger tantrum because their "toy" was not what they wanted. I'm really sick and tired how gamers nowadays act like when a new game comes out. The color of Mario's pants are not the right one. Fox looks too furry. The graphic sucks. This is not that game I wanted.

Fanfic? Really? For me, Other M is a good game and not a "fanfic". Sakamoto developed the game with Nintendo and therefore, he has a right to change the story to a direction he things it should go. What I hate to hear, are fans who say "they ruined our game series". What do they owe? They owe nothing. They merely supported the games with their money, but that is all. People forget that this game is not their property. If they don't like the course of action in the Metroid games, then they should not buy it. That simply. It makes me mad because I know what it means to write a story and later hear from fans that "Person A should be with C together and not with B and should not act like this but this". The story is not theirs to command how to it will go, it is the right of the creators, who started and working on it. This is why the whole lamenting about Other M and Federation Force just makes me mad.
And speaking of Federation Force, there are new developments and infos about the game, so please, don't jump to conclusion and inform yourself before you call something bad, because this does not give the game any justice at all.
Update: Well I watched the 3rd treehouse for this game but I couldn't go on anymore. After the 7 minute mark i just turned it off. "Melee Trooper", really? It actually resembles a Space Pirate but jeez, these lame placeholder names are not helping the situation. It's like if a Mario game called a goomba a "Stompy thing" and a Koopa "Kicking thing". Sure, call it Metroid, just don't use any of the Metroid terminology. Do they think we're idiots?

But what do you expect from those small figurines? If the quality would be higher, you would pay more. I know this from the Four Horsemen and their figures. I agree with you about Metaknight, though. He would fit, but Zelda is to human-like, just like Link. Most of the Skylanders are monster-type creatures and Bowser as like DK fit perfectly.

Really, I think we all talked a lot about this topic and it really getting tired. Yes, people are mad about this because they didn't get their "aw-so-beloved-HD-super-realistic-Samus is badass hunter" Metroid game.
Allow me when I say "grow up". Life ain't easy and we don't get what we want every time (like me when I bought Metroid Prime and almost vomited on the screen because of the 3D effect). Nintendo got the message and I'm sure that a new "real" Metroid game will come and continue where Metroid Fusion ended. But see it like this; Nintendo wants to go new ways and tries new things. @DarkNinja9 I have to disagree with you. Nintendo was always open to create new things and go ways other wouldn't go. They have at least the guts to try out something new and that is why I like them for that. This is why I is difficult for me with the PS4, because those games feel like the same stuff over and over again. This is why I have a problem to buy a new Sony console.
But those are spinoffs, they are not new, they were always there and no one forces you to buy them. I'm sure a new Metroid game will come, but until then,we have to show patience, as hard as it sounds. But that won't keep me from buying a Nintendo console, because there will always be a game that I like since I know how Nintendo thinks. Maybe you see this differently, but that is okay. What is so wrong in doing a spinoff from a game? We saw this so many times and yet no one was saying "Oh my, how horrible". Yet this game comes out and suddenly everyone is yelling and cursing.

@Skullcruncher No, the reason why I only use my Wii U and PS3 is, because the PS4 and Xbox One has nothing for me that would make me buy one of their consoles. That plain and simple. The game on those consoles are bland and boring for me. I can't change this, this is how I feel for those consoles.
@Yorumi I only hate one console company (next to some game devs like Capcom, Ubisoft and EA to call some of them ) and that is Microsoft. I plain hate them for fooling us and trying to spy on us. Sony is a different story; I still have all of their consoles and games and I'm happy with the PS1, 2 and 3. But the PS4... there is simply nothing that makes me buy a PS4. I wish that there would be more than one game to make me pick up a PS4, but that is sadly not the case and I feel it sad because I want to buy a PS4, but not for one game. That would be a waste of money.
"...a game with a gigantic universe..." I had such a game with Red Faction Armageddon and after a while, it gets boring. If you like this type of game, sure why not? I'm not saying that people should stop buying those games but only Nintendo games like Animal Crossing Happy House Designer or Amiibo Festival. Maybe it is just me, who doesn't like the grim and photo-realistic games. The thing with the 60 bucks boardgame is, that is has a theme, that is familiar to me and gives me a smile after a hard day at work, where I can forget my sorrows and worries for the next day, even if only for 2 or 3 hours. Does this stop me from playing Just Cause 2 or Uncharted? No, far from it as I mentioned above with Red Faction Armageddon. But, and believe me or not and take it like you want, those next gen games look just bland to me. I don't know why, it is just the feeling I have and had when I looked at The Last of Us. It was just not my type of tea, I guess and that is why I feel how I feel for Nintendo games. But who know, maybe Nintendo will vanish one day and then, I have to go somewhere else and deal with it. Nobody knows what the future will bring.
Let me tell you what game was made me want to buy a PS4; Uncharted 4. That's it. This was the only games I liked from their look on the PS4.

About those games you mentioned: Star Ocean 4, Final Fantasy 7 remake, KH3, Horizon, No Man's Sky, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront... I watched the trailers and gameplay videos but none of them were my cup of tea.

Kingdom Hearts 3 - I tried the series, had no appeal to me, even though I am a Disney fan.

It has nothing to do with loyalty that someone likes a game, which is not as powerful as maybe other games. This is call 'having a different taste', nothing else and no, Nintendo is not doom as you like to display so well. There is always a way to solve a problem, whether you believe this or not. Was I the only one who enjoyed the show and wasn't disappointed!? I really can't see how "horrible" it went down as you all say and no, I'm not trolling or anything. I'm pretty much honest at this point.
But there is something else that wonders me; Why are you still here? Why are you not selling your Wii U and 3DS and go over to Sony and Microsoft if you all are so disappointed by Nintendo? Wouldn't that be the next logical step?
To me, Sony couldn't convince me with their games, because they had no appeal to me whatsoever, not even Uncharted 4, which was actually one reason to possibly buy a PS4 slim... but now, this bubble is burst as well.
For me, and this might sound weird for some of you maybe, Nintendo is the only developer I still like. I can imagine that this bothers some of you and other can maybe not understand why, but it is the truth. The PS3 had a lot of titles I liked, but the PS4... none.
Now, you can call me whatever you like, down-vote or hate me for liking Nintendo, but I can't change my feelings or likes. Maybe my likes are different that yours about games, but I won't and will not follow the herd or change my mind just because some people say so. That wouldn't be me anymore.

Tim Schafer made a great mess with this kickstarter because he was unable household the budget for this game and needed more money for it. In the end, the game was not what it was planned and a horrible ending was simply squeezed into to finish the game. Really, don't take this game as a good example, take this one: Pier Solar HD.

Remember, we're talking about Microsoft and how horrible they go with game they don't make and use devs which are so horrible, that the whole gameplay and design is ruined completely. I mean, they made a new Conker game inside Project Spark... the result is devastating and on top of it episodic. Why do I have the feeling that this way of selling games will ruin the gaming industry?
@ToxieDogg I would kill to get a cheap complete version of Conker Bad Fur Day, but even the game itself would be enough for me. About the package, I fear that those games will be part of Project Spark, just like Conker and episodic. Microsoft will milk the fandom of those games like Killer Instinct and I will not support this. To me, this is not giving back something to the fans, but ignorant and money-hungry methods to lure people to Xbox One and pull their money out of the pockets. They should create a whole game with their own game engine instead with this poor "Little Big Planet for poor people" Project Spark.

People, this is just to lure old fans of those games to buy an Xbox One, nothing else. Team Dakota uses Project Spark to make Conker Big Reunion and to be honest, it just looks ugly. Even the port on Xbox Classic (the first Xbox) was horrible. I know that I sound like a fanboy, but sadly, the best port of Conker was on the N64. Yes, it had clunky graphic and no costumes like on the Xbox port, but as I said many times before "graphics are no important [for me] but storyline and gameplay". It was a blast and I loved every minute of this game. Sadly, I only rent the game and never bought it and nowadays, this game of the N64 is so rare and expensive, that you have to pay more than 200 bucks for the game only and for a complete set way beyond. But that doesn't change the fact, that I will now get myself an Xbox One only to get this game. I dislike Microsoft even so I was a fan before with the Xbox 360, but they lost my trust with all the things they came up in their presentation with the Xbox One and nothing will give this trust back. And seriously, Conker in Project Spark looks horrible... at least for me.

@adamatsu You can't predict how many people want to buy this DLC and how many people want to buy something else. All I say is, no matter where you buy a game or DLC (Nintendo EShop / PS Network / Xbox Market), there can be lags or delays if new and wanted games and DLCs are fresh out. One has always remember to this. No matter how big your servers are, there is a limit and if this is reached, nothing can help you to smooth the traffic. Speaking of it, does anyone knows how big the Nintendo severs are? I mean, it is easy to say that they have bad servers, but I never heard someone talked about their tech, so saying "they have bad servers" is a pretty wage statement.

Think and try to keep a keen head It is not like those DLCs are limited. They are endless and won't run out, so calm down and wait.

A Metroid game in the cinematic of Other M and its gameplay would be fine by me. I dislike Prime because it was actually the only FPS that gave me a really bad case of vertigo. A normal Metroid game (jump 'n' run style) is all I want.

When I have to be honest, the most thing that bugged me with Sonic Boom was not the bugs itself, but the story. It was just mediocre and boring; Eggman went down to a servant level while Lyric stole the spotlight of the villain role. Not even Shadow did this in Sonic Adventure 2. About the 3DS game; I merely played the demo, but I was not really hooked, because the gameplay was not really convincing me to buy the game. And now this game. It actually reminds me to Sonic Advance, which is by far nothing wrong, since I loved Sonic Advance, especially the third game. If there will be a demo, I guess I will try it, but then again, there is that thing with the story element. As I said many time before, a story is for me the most important thing in a game, and if this is not given or mediocre written, this game will suck for me and that would be the worst scenario, since it was such a long time since Sonic Unleashed, that I played a Sonic game which was compelling to me.
@Pokefanmum82 How about no? We can comment about this as much as we want. What makes you think that we will stop? This game, whether or not it was made for kids, was a train wreck. If this bothers you, than this is the wrong place for you.

If this really helps to get games here in Germany, that are allowed with no problems anywhere else, I more than welcome this new rating system. The USK is such a roadblock in that kind of way and ruined developers to publish their games here in Germany, while gamers never were allowed to play those games. I really hope that this change it all with IARC.

Where in my post did I say that people are elite by playing those games? I said "Games for PS4 (or Xbox One) are more "be the elite" standards to me".
TO ME... not that people who play those games but those games themselves giving me that feeling because of the whole trophy and achievement crap that has no effect on the game whatsoever but only to brag how cool a player is by stepping up in a useless list, that has no use or rewards.

I could care less for all of those 30+ million people, because everyone has a different taste and I have no favor for the PS4 or the Xbox One since they can't deliver a reason to buy one of their consoles because there is no game that would make me buy a PS4 or Xbox One. But to answer your question... yes. I met a lot of people, who bragged how cool their console is, but when I asked them what good games they have, they only came with HD remastered games like The Last of Us, Tomb Raider or games that were so disappointing like Destiny, Dead Rising 3 or The Order 1887.

And because people are jumping from a bridge, I have to do the same? I could care less for Fallout 4 as I did for Fallout 1,2 or 3. Sure, if people like those games, let them like it. I don't say "Don't you dare to buy this game".

That is your opinion and I have nothing against it if you feel that way. But to compare MKX with Mario World 3D is like comparing an apple with an egg; both are completely different in gameplay and design as like age groups. But again, if you like this game, go for it. I dislike the MK series after part 3 on the SNES, not because it was brutal, but boring for me. The fatalities were silly and the story just dull. But before you say "you don't need a story for MK", for me, a story is more important than any graphic or gameplay because a game without a story is useless for me. Yes, there are game like Smash or Splatoon, where a story is not necessarily important, but those are rare examples. For me, a good game must have a story that connects me with the game, otherwise it is just wasted time.
@FLUX_CAPACITOR As far as I know, SuckerFreeGames owes the Cheetahmen Trademark and apparently, there is a Cheetahmen 3 game in progress, but I lost track about it. There was even a kickstarter for a remake of the Cheetahmen 2, but it was a pure scam since they wanted 60 bucks for a rom of the old game with a bug fix to finish the game; something you could get for free on the internet.

@Yorumi Back in the 80s and 90s, after Atari killed the video game market in NA and people dissed video games, Nintendo had the guts to step up and do something no one dared. Sega and others like Hudson followed Nintendo and failed to deliver the same quality. This is why people say Nintendo is video gaming back in the day; they had no real challenges. But nowadays, people are too fixated on graphics and power, the true meaning of gaming, having fun and forgetting the sorrow of the real life, is lost.
I'm not saying that Nintendo is doing it the right way, no sir, they did a lot of damage to themselves, but when I compare games between Nintendo and Sony... Nintendo is winning for the most cases. Why? Well, because most of them are entertaining and fun, at least in my eyes. Games for PS4 (or Xbox One) are more "be the elite" standards to me, which I dislike because their just graphics and no game feeling and just look what trophies and achievements made out of us gamers. I dislike to see achievements on some Wii U games as well, because those do nothing at all for the game itself. But I digress.
I wish that Sony would go back to the days, when they released the PS1 and made games themselves. They were fun as hell and on the same entertainment level as of Nintendo, but nowadays, there is no game on the PS4, which would convince me to get a PS4, because some of them are on other consoles as well. This is why I stay for now with Nintendo and once Sony will ever come up with something entertaining and exclusive for their console, I guess I will get myself a Sony console again.

It would be nice to see the ol' blue bomber coming back, but I believe that "if" this happens, it will take more than Megaman 9 and 10 for 3DS to give the community justice or even a reason to come back. After all, all the Megaman NES games are on 3DS already and the SNES games are on Wii U. Capcom really has to make something new with the Megaman franchise to attract the fans and I doubt that they will make Megaman Legends 3 (the fan game is still coming, right?). Anyway, I really hope that Capcom will get their act together about this and if not, sell the license of Megaman to a different company, that can make some good use and justice for the fans of Megaman unlike Konami with Bomberman or Bloody Roar sighs

@Kmno I can understand that you're not a fan of games, that look like a kids game, but the bigger question is... will they deliver what they promise? The problem with MN9 in my eyes is, that it could end up as a promised product that will end into a disaster. I saw the last trailer and I have to admit that I had mixed feelings when I saw MN9 and MN1. So I know where you're coming from. I can only tell you what I told most of my friends, which were unsure if they should support those games or not; if you don't know, wait until the game is out and then make your judgement. A review can't really tell you much about a game, a video only a little but to play the game by yourself is a completely different story and since MN9 will come out as physical product, I'm sure you can at least rent this one someday. Maybe Yooka-Laylee will follow one day. Hey, it could happen.

I have mixed feelings with this "Wii U port" thing. Surely, they say that it will come to the Wii U, but what if the same happens like to Project Cars? People are promising way too much as that they can deliver. I believe this only when I see the final result.
