Hey, I was an early backer for this , I gave my PC copy away just so I could buy the Switch one

My friend got me one of the last 3 copies of Blue Reflection II in the country so that's what I'm playing now, but I also got WarioWare Get It Together which I am enjoying a lot more than I expected, No More Heroes III and Sonic Colors Ultimate.

I had to bribe my friend with sushi to get it for me on day 1 so SMT V and nothing else.

@Moroboshi876 Honestly if you're a fan of the series I wouldn't skip IX. Yes the Switch port drops FPS quite a lot and overall the game is pretty buggy but it's also probably the best game in the series in every other aspect in my opinion.

Hopefully that means that whatever comes out next won't be a technical dumpster fire like YS IX was. The game would be 10/10 for me if it worked properly.

Amanita Design has also released Happy Game very recently, which is an amazing horror experience.

Looks like Nintendo attracts Bowsers of all occupations and motives.

I got into YS IX a lot despite its blatant technical faults, I should be able to finish at least most of it before Metroid Dread comes out.

Honestly I'd take a great game of any of the three series, but I don't have faith in Konami anymore. Their last two games were Metal Gear Survive and Contra Rogue Corps and there wasn't a good Silent Hill and Castlevania game for over a decade. Hopefully they will prove me wrong.

I don't think that farting giants are actually a good description of the series. It's more of a Dungeons and Dragons parody kind of a game.

The first game was a really good mobile game, the second one not so much. I will watch this one.

Finished NEO TWEWY yesterday midnight, so I'm playing more NEO TWEWY till I get all secret endings and 100% in parts that are not too grind heavy. If I somehow manage to finish it during the weekend which I highly doubt I got Shadowverse: Champion's Battle, Ys Origins and Ys IX ready

I waited 14 years for TWEWY sequel as it was my favourite game of all time so the answer is clear for me. Going for true 100% this time.

@nhSnork I can sadly confirm that European releases of Japanese games skip Central Europe quite often as well. We have to hope that at least one store decides to ship it.

@ottospooky Happened to me in first 6 months, so I guess I am especially "lucky".

@mariomaster96 I understand that, I would love to play in Handheld mode more, but playing Smash or a lot of other action games just wrecks the Joycons so fast. Imo because the handheld mode relies on Joycons, OLED model is just not worth it, even as a new buy.

They don't say it because it doesn't. Just get yourself a pro controller for all joystick intensive games and you're all set.

My copy is arriving hopefully tommorow.

I always thought Mizuki would be a much better lead than Date, so I'm even more excited for this one.

@Ryu_Niiyama If it's just like the 3DS one, it's good enough for me, I just didn't really want a downgrade. I mainly just need to cover the waiting before RF V, I'll probably get it in August since there are too many new games I need in July (Ys IX, MH Stories II, NEO TWEWY, Ace Attorney)

@nhSnork Agree to disagree, personally I'm fine with negative opinions, reviews and rumours and I'm not fine with microtransactions with games that are not at least 16+. Anyway I think @Krull was able to express my point better than I would ever be able to.

@nhSnork I don't understand how is not wanting to see these games promoted more than anything else on the eshop when there are many games that get no attention at all a bad thing ?

Quality of these games aside, they are on sale literally half the time, they get new sale every month and they are filled to brim with microtransactions.

If you like them that's obviously fine, but do they deserve bi-weekly article ? I think not and I don't think my opinion is "fandom snobbery"

@WoomyNNYes No problem, this is mostly a friendly site and the game isn't really about the story, also the Switch version kind of spoils the bonus levels from the start on the world select screen

I don't think I will run of lives till the end, but I would assume that all that will happen is that you would have to start the level from the beginning regardless of how many checkpoints you took. It would be very unusual for a game targetted mainly at children to not give you a continue.

I never got to play this game so the physical version looks good. Fun fact: the maker of this game is top Yoshi's Story speedrunner, I actually watched his runs without knowing he made this game.

I'm finishing New Super Lucky's Tale today as a breather after the serious SMT III Nocturne.

After that I will probably start Bayonetta and World's End Club at the same time.

@Farts_Ahoy I hope you enjoy Elite, I think it's an underrated novel, unlike the sequel which I hated.

I might give a try, I still hope that Shibito Magire gets a release in west tho
