Update (19th August):
The second batch of content from this month's DLC has now gone live; the main additions are a range of co-op and subquests, with a delivery of 'Tantalizing Toe Beans' also thrown in.
Original Article (4th August):
Though Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is very different to the action-oriented main series games, it naturally shares a lot of similar concepts. It offers various options for co-operative hunting online, it's a very long experience that'll keep you busy for weeks (or months), and Capcom is regularly adding more in free DLC updates.
On 5th August the game is adding a hefty co-op quest to take on Kulve Taroth; there will also be Monsties of Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos. This definitely seems to be late-game stuff, or something to take on with a co-op buddy that's a master in the game and eager to help.
There are two more free content updates due in September and then one in October, so there's plenty more to come in MH Stories 2.
Are you planning to check this out?

I’ve just started playing this game two days ago, so I’m excited for the upcoming updates.
In other news: Monster Hunter Stories (the first one) is coming to Apple Arcade soon, so I’m excited to check that out on my iPad after finishing no. 2.
Is this more content exclusive for post game?
I usually go from an either invested player or casual gamer, to an either casual or infrequent player in post game. It varies from game to game.
How big is this game's Post Game content?
Are the "Free Updates" the game's only post game content?
Hopefully the "Free Update" coming tomorrow, August 5th, will also contain their promised Bug fixes.

Love the updates in Monster Hunter games.
After 450 hrs in Rise, I put about 30 into MH Stories 2, but that was split across Steam and Switch since I switched to PC for a bit, then came back to Switch. Feel like I needed a break though. Been on a Great Ace Attorney kick ever since.
@tadams587 Trust me, you don't want extra content before the post-game, because even without that there's plenty to do during the game's campaign. 65 hours in and I still haven't seen the end credits, although I tend to play jRPGs at my own pace.
Yes, they are addressing bugs in that update.
@Preposterous At the moment, I'm taking a break due to the reported critical Bugs.
To be honest, I haven't gotten far, as my schedule was somewhat busy.
I will defiantly continue, after the more critical bugs are squashed.
@JaxonH How are you liking Great Ace Attorney so far? I've been thinking of picking it up (physical) but wasn't sure I'd like it as much as the original Ace Attorney games
More love for MHR needed Capcom….!
70 hours in and i haven't even reached post game yet, fantastic game.
Now playing Astria and need to get back to MHS2 again. Backlogs doesn't help here.
And here I haven't gotten my K9 friend yet... ugh....
Just beaten the superboss today, amazing game, I hope the new DLCs will be worth coming back for more
@Bizzyb
I'm blown away by how good it is!
I've played countless AA games and always quit after an hour or so. They just never pulled me in. This one is different. It's easily the best in the series imo as it immediately grabbed me and hasn't let go.
Turns out the creator of the series diverted to make the Professor Layton crossover, and by doing so the B team took over the main series. So he went on to make his own side story game... which became the two games in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. No wonder it's so amazing.
@JaxonH Thanks! Sounds like I would def enjoy it in that case.
100+ hours and I'm still having tons of fun and a lot of stuff to do.
@Pascalkw Monster Hunter Stories 1 has been on the App store for almost 3 years.
@Jeronan He said it's coming to Apple arcade not the App store itself. Since it's a subscription service it would be a lot more affordable.
@TequilaUK
Thank you! Yes, that was what I meant to say. I’m always a bit cautious about purchasing games on mobile because of previous disappointments, so getting it as a subscription that I have anyway means I will actually try it. Having it on Apple Arcarde also means good save functionality and being able to play it across different Apple devices.
It would be nice to see more monsters added in Monster Hunter rise, Get it together capcom.
how do we access these? I still can't seem to find the first batch of DLC quests
