I prefer Retro Studios to make a new DKC game. They should hire more people and form two teams: one for Metroid Prime and the other for DKC, so they could work on 2 games simultaneously.

@Dr_Lugae Sometimes a voice actor does end up crossing over to another media. Mark Hamill, for instance, started voicing the Joker in the cartoons and went on to voice the character in video games, most notably the Arkham series.

@RetroGames Charles's voice sounds like that because he's doing a video game character. It is a video game after all.

I'm sure he would have sounded even better than Pratt, if he had been given the role. He works with anime too, you can listen to him in Jojo's Bizarre adventure, where he voices a senator:

@Poodlestargenerica It might not be as good as Zelda, but it is a good game and people liked it. Stop thinking everyone has the same views as you. I'll keep on mentioning the game if it fits the matter being discussed, especially in topics about retro games.

Just bring Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo-Tooie to Switch, not on a subscription service, but in buyable options.

People need to learn to let go of the past. There are games and characters that stay in their time and you'd need very specific conditions to bring them back, which doesn't always occur. You just need to enjoy them and move on.

If specific conditions are met, they'll come back. If not, you just need to move on. Enjoy a new metroidvania instead of wishing for an SOTN sequel. Playtonic is also making a new Yooka-Laylee, which will be a direct sequel to the first game.

Regardless of Nintendo not being the first to make a portable console with OLED, it was Nintendo that rendered it mainstream, hence Valve not acknowledging Vita. They were inspired by Nintendo and their success with the Switch.

They are both very different from Xenoblade. The combat is structured around a turn based battle system with cards and the graphics outside of battles use a fixed camera, which nowadays not everyone seems to like, although it's alright for me.

I hope these games achieve the success they deserve with this launch on Switch. If so, we can hope for a third game in the series.

These kinds of DLC are spoiling the devs' creativity. Rayman could be a character well hidden in the game, especially in the case that they were already making this DLC before the launch of the game, making the player search high and low to find him and make him a member of their party.

Instead of this, we have to pay to have access to an extra stage that could be in the base game, making the players really search the game to find it.

I believe it will be a good game, but I would like a Sonic Advance Collection as well.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but this doesn't make me more willing to watch it. Bowser should be a threat, even when he's singing, not some sort of simp.

It was about time. SNK have been launching Neo Geo Pocket games on the Switch for so long that I thought a game from the main series of KOF would never be released.

Maybe she was able to save herself in that particular game, but in all the games where she was kidnapped, she needed Mario to do the saving for her and this is something that should be in the movie, not all Mario movies (I believe there'll be a sequel), but at least in this one they should portray how things started, although I know they're probably not going to do that.

She is so "strong and capable", but still needs Mario to save her kingdom. Typical of the so-called "women's empowerment".

He said, "the next amazing thing", which means it must be a new game, not the Switch version of Yo-kai Watch 1 or the localization of the fourth game.
It might not even be a fifth game, it could be a spinoff.

What about the protagonist? The one from Pronty: Fishy Adventure.

I don't care if it's survival horror or point and click or a mix of the two. I like both genres.

I prefer to listen to the tracks without knowing which one of the composers made each of them.
Only after finishing up the game I seek to find it out, in the cases in which I really liked the songs.

They did promise to launch the game in the West, but this was before it came out in Japan. When YW4 was finally released, it turned out to be the worst selling game in the series. I doubt we're going to see a localization or even a fifth game.

@Jeronan Yes, I had already told you this on the other news thread. I'm all for a digital release of the game, although it's becoming increasingly clear that they're not willing to launch their games outside Japan anymore.

@Jeronan There are costs to release a game, even if it is already localized. They obviously don't want to spend their money on the relaunch of a game that didn't sell well in the West.

I don't see why make such a fuss about it. People can still watch their new videos on their YouTube channel. Don't live in the past.

If someone reuploads the videos on YouTube, you can be certain Nintendo will strike them down.
They'll have to upload them on some server on the internet.

@Jeronan I guess it's for the same reason they don't localize the fourth game, since YO-KAI Watch 1 sold below expectations in the West. I sure think they could give it a try, since the Switch is another console and has a history of turning ported games into a huge success.
They must be trying to avoid production and distribution costs, yet they could launch the game in digital format at least.

@Jeronan There are plenty of games that could be ported and would work perfectly on the Switch. Nintendo has mainly focused on porting Wii U games, but there are tons of games from DS/3DS that could be released on Switch.

If only they localized YO-KAI Watch 4...

Now that we have Mario Rabbids, I don't think there is a need for another Nintendo IP going xcom.
I'd prefer Retro to make a third DKC instead.
