Re: Rakoo & Friends is Racing Onto the Wii U eShop

Seanmyster6

Looks like Rakoo wants to get some tail. (ba dum tish)
With that out of my system, I think this looks like it could be fun, (especially with multiplayer) and I bet I'd pick it up for the right price.
@TruenoGT The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the upcoming Runbow.

Re: The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy's Grand Adventure Will Bring Its Wit to Wii U and 3DS

Seanmyster6

There've been good Peanuts games before, especially the Snoopy Flying Ace ones, so I'll be as least mildly optimistic for this one.
@KeeperBvK "Then what is a mediocre platformer if Aladdin (the SNES one) is amazing?"
The Genesis version, of course!

(sorry, but you left yourself wide open for that. )

Re: Video: Marvel at the Madness of Project X Zone 2 in This Extended Footage

Seanmyster6

Pretty cool!
I wish they didn't have that "humanoids only" rule, 'cause I was really hoping for a duo of Red & Elh from SolaToRobo, (published by Bandai Namco in Japan, and same developers as .hack) or at least the return of the Klonoa & Gantz duo from Namco X Capcom.
Oh, well; I'll take "closest-thing-this-game's-gonna-get-to-an-anthro" Felicia as consolation. (not that I wasn't excited for her already)

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Approach to Transforming Franchises Clashes With Fan Expectations

Seanmyster6

And another thing: If someone's not satisfied with how Nintendo's been handling things and wants to switch to another platform, that's entirely their call to make, and I won't act like they're a horrible person for doing so. After all, in the grand scheme of things, which games we enjoy and which companies we choose to support really isn't a big deal.
@Senario Yeah, they'd have to actively try to be worse than that E3.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Approach to Transforming Franchises Clashes With Fan Expectations

Seanmyster6

C'mon, guys! We're still getting Yoshi's Wooly World, Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, Zelda U, Devil's Third, Fatal Frame, Rodea The Sky Soldier, Legend of Kay Anniversary, etc., etc.
Just because Nintendo made the mistake of showing off all the wrong games in their press conference, you guys are all acting like these spin-offs you dislike are all we have to look forward to this year; and I honestly believe you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Not for being critical of Nintendo, not for wanting something different, not even for being unwilling to give these new games a chance; but for letting your emotions get the best of you, and for giving in to angry-mob syndrome when it frankly isn't warranted.

Re: Review: Rival Turf! (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

Seanmyster6

@TheRealThanos Also, is he serious about comparing street gangs to The Civil Rights Movement? Yeah, street gangs are to The Civil Rights Movement, what Westboro Baptist Church is to Christianity. (that is, they're a jon snowized off-shoot so far removed from what the original stood for that they're practically opposites)
But, hey, are we talking about video games here, or socio-political issues?

Re: Video: The Game Theorists Plot Out Mario's Timeline and Family Bloodline

Seanmyster6

Game Theory just needs to die already! It used to be cool, but nowadays it's nothing but poorly researched "oh-so-shocking-and-controversial" crap and FNAF fanboy-ing. TrailerDrake's and Gaijin Goombah's stuff are the only things worth watching on that channel anymore. (even then, I just subscribe to their personal channels)
@Onion851 Tell me about it!

Re: Review: Runny Egg (3DS eShop)

Seanmyster6

An emphasis on both speed and exploration? Reminds me of a certain hedgehog I know!
After playing and enjoying Ninja Battle Heroes, I'm glad to see Tom Create put out another gem.
