In the past couple of years we've seen some download titles transition from touch devices to the Wii U. The latest to do so is Rakoo & Friends, which was originally brought to smart devices by Bandai Namco as Rakoo's Adventure.
This new version has its name change courtesy of an exclusive multiplayer mode on Wii U that supports five players, with eShop veterans Moving Player producing the home console entry. A blend of racing and adventure, with 60 solo levels promised, this aims to grab attention ahead of its release on the system.
No trailer seems to have been uploaded for this Wii U entry as yet, so below is an equivalent for the iOS / Android game. It'll be interesting to see how well this transitions to the home console store.

Reminds me of the old Atari game Stampede made by Activision.
Well that was purty. Not a big fan of endless runners but this reminded me of Sea Stars - my favorite of the lot - so I'm going to go DL it when I'm done typing. I could easily see us getting this for the multilayer on Wii U.
Wow, this game looks great! Might download it.
@rjejr
Happy Birthday #16!
I like how this one looks so I will be watching it.
@sinalefa - getting warmer. (Man my birhtday better come son I'm running out of clever replies.)
Played the game on my tablet this morning. It's not an endless runner, it's a runner set up like Angry Birds w/ levels. I'm not a big fan of the touch interface - though it could be worse it could be gyro tilt based - but I'm going to see how far I can get and then seriously consider the Wii U version so I can play normally w/ a controller.
@rjejr
My comments were never clever (except the Beatles reference) but they all hold the same passion because I don't know the exact day. I think I know it now but I will keep commenting daily, even after I hit the jackpot. I think I haven't annoyed anyone with these yet
I would rather play this with a controller too. On a big screen.
@sinalefa Not me, I love you two, (@rjejr), always look for your comments on any given article and this ongoing birthday thing is hilarious lol
Well, I liked Metro Cross in the arcades so I'm interested
Yeah Metro Cross is great (can't remember if I have that on my Japanese Wii or not) and this looks sort of similar.
Ugh. Not really for me. Endless runners are just sooooo boring.
What. Ever. The game is pretty enough, just not my style.
@sinalefa - Well you made it this far, might as well keep it going the rest of the month. And the Beatles #9 was spot on. You're early morning posts this month have been some of the highlights of my day.
@MJKOP - You may want to skip my posts in the Camp Miiverse is canceled thread.
Looks like Rakoo wants to get some tail. (ba dum tish)
With that out of my system, I think this looks like it could be fun, (especially with multiplayer) and I bet I'd pick it up for the right price.
@TruenoGT The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the upcoming Runbow.
