The Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) is still one of the biggest YouTube names out there in the minds of plenty of gamers, which was proven with the release of Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures across various platforms. That included Wii U and 3DS versions, and now that a sequel has been announced it looks like Nintendo fans will have more of these adventures to look forward to.
The game has been unveiled at SGC (also known as ScrewAttack Gaming Convention), with developer FreakZone Games confirming the news on Twitter in addition to some unfortunate posts on feeling a tad unwell - too much travelling and junk food, it seems. In any case, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures 2 looks set to come to Nintendo hardware, though it's too soon for the developer or publisher to be too specific.

Are you a fan of the first game and excited about a sequel? Let us know.

Meanwhile in Europe.........
A second game, when is Europe getting the first?
Thirding the comments about Europe getting shunned.
Yea. Are we ever going to see the first game?
U.S. Get shunned on Yoshi, we get shunned on AVGN
still waiting for the first to be released here
@LinkSword They have confirmed it as coming, but don't forget you have the usual age ratings, Euro languages (Assuming they'll include them), and of course waiting on Nintendo to add it to a Download update, so it's really not much fault of the developer, just factors that take longer for some smaller developers...
Hope it has voice acting this time!
This is awesome. Loved the 1st, hope the 2nd improves on everything.
Still patiently awaiting Euro release...
Neat!
Still not a Jontron/PBG/Anybody in NormalBoots game. :T
@Angelic_Lapras_King I'm aware of all that, but I still feel shunned. But yeah, I'm sure it's mostly NoE that is to blame. Binding of Isaac is in a similar position in the sense that they're just waiting for their final approval to release it, and that's probably going to take months.
Bring on a Board James game, the foul mouthed Mario Party killer!
@LinkSword Still, they'll arrive eventually. And who knows, they could always do something to make up for it like making them Cross Purchase for us.
@MewTheSmasher Dude, I would kill for a JonTron video game.
Why bother releasing it on Nintendo consoles but not PlayStation or Xbox? It's stupid! Nintendo fans like cutesy things, not grown up humour
This hasn't released in Europe? Wow, that seems like a huge miss for them to get alot of sales.
@fed0ra7 I second that! It would be the swoodest game ever!
A JonTron game would be the best thing in existence
@hYdeks "Grown up humor" in the loosest of terns.
@MewTheSmasher Oh my God...there is an actual NormalBoots game being made...and oh boy...it's not what you were expecting:

Not only that, but it'll have the Hidden Block crew, and you can even date Jaques...I have no words.
Why do you Europeans want this so much? The game sucks so bad you'll make up your own words!
Cool, the first was alright you can't fault it for it's difficulty since it was intentional
I thought the first one was great. The typical nerd humour and episode themes really translated well into the game's levels.
I hope it features guest appearances by guest stars such as JonTron and Pat The NES Punk.
@JaniN83 Please stop reinforcing the blind, annoying, delusional Nintendo fanboy stereotype. Your logic is jumbled and flawed.
@NintendoFan64 Mother of god... What is wrong with this world?!
Yep, I'd care more about this if they'd got the first game out in Europe yet.
Still not on Nintendo platform in Europe, the first one I mean. I`ll just watch a speedrun of it and I'm done.
@NintendoFan64
EHHHHH
The first game is awesome although very short. Hopefully the second one has some ARPG elements in it.
Alright! I love the first one, so I'll no doubt be picking this one up and enjoying it as well.
Sweet dude. The first game is killer fun, even if I never beat any of the levels. The 2600 pr0n stage is my favorite!
The first game is brutal. So brutal in fact that I loved it. Never expected to hear about a sequel, but man I really can't wait to get more details! FreakZone is slowly becoming one of my favorite developers.
I think u can get it on steam if you're in europe, but it's like poetry in motion if I can get it on wiiu. Still waiting here.
@-Godot @MewTheSmasher Y'know, I'm not sure what other type of reaction that'd get XD.
