I've always wanted to see Mario and Luigi: Wario and Waluigi. Where Wario and Waluigi occupy X and Y. For the sake of platforming though, you probably would have to play with each set separately. It also could give Waluigi some much needed character development.
I'm not sure if someone said this, but I figured Inkling wouldn't get in this time, but be the first reveal of the next Smash Bros. Gotta save some people for the next one - hopefully Bomberman will be in that.
That said Corrin and Bayonetta look extremely fun to play as. I was hoping for more from the final announcement though. I'm just glad to have new fighters instead of returning veterans. I wonder if the DLC characters will return in the newer installments, since they weren't planned this time around?
Gen 4... This has to be my least favorite Generation of all. And I only say that because it has my least favorite games. Heart Gold and Soul Silver were nicely polished, but they still aren't my favorite. Diamond and Pearl were terrible though. Granted it did add some nice features like online and physical/special diversity, some of the decisions made were terrible. Not being able to get the new evolutions until after the elite four? Only having two fire types before the elite four? I barely made it through this game. Though I hear Platinum fixed those problems.
I did like the underground and whatever that was on the bottom screen though. Those were definitely neat.
Kinda a shame we'll never see Battletoads Double Dragon on the virtual console. I had so much fun with it as a kid. I'll have to grab this one to try it out.
I loved the original Bubsy! I went over to my grandparents and played it with them all the time. I would try to run through and beat the levels while they would try amd collect all of the yarn balls. But to say that the original was the best game of the series is an understatement. It went all downhill from there. And I'm talking about a Bubsy jump off the side of a mountain and you can't slow yourself down with your glide kinda downhill.
By if there was one thing Bubsy had going for it was the levels design. I especially loved the space and train/desert levels. But honestly looking back, there were far too many leaps of faiths in the game, or hidden enemies above your head. I can see why people hate it.
The Cloud bit shocked me, since I was expecting Minecraft. It was a huge surprise which literally got me out of my seat. I'm also looking forward to the Smash Direct in December. Only if I knew the date... I do have finals coming up after all.
It does make like very confusing being an American reading a European website. There have been a few times that I thought something was released only to be wrong.
Honestly this is my least favorite Generation. Followed closely by 4. There's nothing inherently wrong with the game, but many of the Pokemon introduced were underwhelming. Also it always felt like the journey through the Johto region was short lived. I'm sure I liked it more when I was younger, but I'm just not a fan now.
Personally I have always found the Vanillite line to be an impossibility. I can understand something like Trubbish because it would suggest it evolved alongside humans in order to camouflage itself. (Granted it would be a fairly quick evolutionary stop gap, since plastic bags haven't been around that long) But to camouflage yourself as a species' dessert would be against evolutionary biology. That's like pigs trying to hide by diguising themselves as bacon. Both silly and delicious.
@Runnerguy2489 Hey! Congratulations! That is an amazing feat of patience and endurance. I definitely would've given up at the shooting galleries. I struggle with them even being able to see.
@WaddleDeeWeegee @DarkEdi I couldn't even imagine the amount of time it would take to do that. I still haven't beaten the game and can't ever imagine 100% it, and I've already put over 100 hours into it.
I'm not entirely sure if anyone has brought this up, but what about sales from uninformed consumers? If it was digital only console manufacturers would lose out on consumers who only see what is on the shelf. Sometimes some games are only bought just because a person can physically see it.
@JaxonH I'm having fun with Chibi Robo. It's pretty great. I've got the first chapters of Fatal Frame to try out, since it doesn't seem like my usual game. But at the moment, I've got school and work to deal with.
I work in a pharmacy and I had one coworker accidentally order 100 boxes of a particular drug. Cost us over $27,000 and we didn't know it happened until it came in. Fortunately we were able to send most of it back.
I can understand that, however the Legend of Kay came out at $25, and I couldn't find it at some stores because it was indeed in the bargain bin. Not exactly sure if it will help too much.
As for auto levels, I enjoy them when I see that they put effort into them. And there are tons of them. I generally wait at the beginning of every level just to see if it's automatic.
@rjejr Yeah you totally can. It has to be a collectipedia item though. Maybe that will be an easier way to raise people's affinities, than running around fighting battles and encouraging teammates in parties that don't particularly have good setups.
Oh my goodness. I use a Brawler Mii and that business suit is the first costume DLC I'm tempted to buy for Smash Bros. Something about beating people up while dressed for success really speaks to me.

My favorite beast wars villian.
Re: Super Mario Maker Director Shares Details About the Upcoming Update
@DekuOnion The shots you fire with the Fire Clown Car go out straight too.
@MJKOP If I'm not mistaken those are the Sky Pop and Sub Pop. But it's been a while so don't take my word for it.

Re: You Can Now Blow 367 Bucks On A Single Pikachu
For $367 it better be an actual live Pikachu made through genetic manipulation. And then it would be considered a steal.
Re: Review: Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones (Wii U eShop / NES)
Kinda a shame we'll never see Battletoads Double Dragon on the virtual console. I had so much fun with it as a kid. I'll have to grab this one to try it out.
Re: Random: The Super Mario Bros. Ground Theme Has Actual Lyrics
Oh wow! Now that is interesting. I clicked the link expecting BrentalFloss lyrics.
Re: Dinox Will Fill That Dinosaur Trivia Gap in the eShop
Finally! The solution to all my problems. You don't understand how much of life's problems are washed away just by knowing random Dinosaur trivia.
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)
I need to finish Xenoblade Chronicles before I play this. Fortunately I'm not getting it until Christmas. So that should give me the time.
I'm so hyped for this though.
Re: Review: Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures (Wii U eShop / SNES)

Re: Review: Lucentek - Activate (Wii U eShop)
@GammaNoises I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that was a Command Wolf.

Re: Puzzle & Dragons X Confirmed for 3DS in Japan
I predict the next Puzzle and Dragons game to be Puzzle and Dragons V. Then we'll keep skipping letters until we get to B.
Re: Review: Girls Like Robots (Wii U eShop)
@sillygostly Well I thought it was about girls who were like robots. Syntax is important.
Re: Video: Watch Kids React To The Original Pokémon Anime Television Series

Would you like them named in numerical order?
Re: Talking Point: The Latest Nintendo Direct Was a Bright Return to the Limelight

Re: Capcom Shows Off Toon Link Outfit for Monster Hunter X (Cross)
I'm not going to lie. Scrolling down I thought it was a new costume for Zelda Triforce Heroes. Cat Link is just too cute though.

That's like a baby's toy!
Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 3 - 2002 to 2006
Gen 3 rivals Gen 1 and 5 for being my favorite Generation. One of the few where I bother to complete the PokeDex.
Re: Video: Learn a Little About Pokémon Snap and Five 'Impossible' Pocket Monsters
@Yorumi A D&D game is the first idea I had after seeing the Wii U. A shame it never happened.
Re: Konami Already Planning Next Metal Gear Game, Presumably Without Hideo Kojima's Input
Of course Metal Gear isn't dead. They've already started work on Metal Gear Pachinko machines.
Re: Review: Electronic Super Joy (Wii U eShop)
@ThomasBW84 Woah! Where's the tagline? That's always my favorite part of the review...

Re: Zelda Fans Vent Anger At Nintendo of America Over Doge Memes In Tri Force Heroes
@rjejr Not going to lie. I didn't care for the European translation either. The syntax seems wrong.
Re: Someone Has 100 Percent Completed Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Whilst Blindfolded
@DarkEdi Hah I don't plan on 100% it, but I can't help myself when I see a quest or an unexplored area of the map.

Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd October (North America)

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (3DS)
@ThomasBW84 Good to hear. Perhaps this will prevent some squabbling in the future.

Re: Review: LEGO Dimensions (Wii U)

@shani That puzzle level sounds interesting, do you have a link to it?

Re: Video: Catch Up With Combat Tips in the Xenoblade Chronicles X Survival Guide
@rjejr I didn't know you could gift items until I read your post. Now I'm going to have to go home and try that.
