@nessisonett A good DM would have let you try. I would have definitely let you do it, but you'd probably have to pass a constitution save/nature check to avoid any undesirable effects.
It was always really sad that you couldn't share your creations in LABO, so that's probably the biggest improvement of Game Builder Garage. I will have to try this out, once they get it running on there.
This is actually one of my favorite videos Nintendo has. Seeing the Mario characters interact with each other outside of the games always puts a smile on my face.
I really want to pick this up once the price drops. The trailers made it look so good, but with all the criticism I'll be waiting just a bit longer before picking it up.
I absolutely adored the Streetpass games on the 3DS. I don't believe I picked up the last few, but at that point I had largely stopped taking my 3DS with me places. It was a fun concept though.
I had Pokemon Dash and, let me tell you, that 44 metacritic score is well earned. Absolutely terrible game with terrible controls, as most of the early DS games were.
I was about to say that if you included Partners in Time without including Bowser's Inside Story, you were crazy. Personally I think Partners in Time is the worst Mario and Luigi game (but it's still pretty good).
I hate Diamond and Pearl, but I did enjoy playing in the underground with my brothers. If they do remakes I hope they make them more similar to Platinum, since I never played that version.
@Razer You're probably hearing complaints from the opposite side. I think the art here is gorgeous and I love the chibi characters. The style is reminiscent of the 3DS games when they had more limitations, but updated enough to make it look good on the Switch. I'll definitely be picking this up.
Also as an aside, I thought Labo was an incredible use of technology and my kid and I had a ton of fun with it. But I will say that it's definitely something that's not for everyone, so I completely understand why it wouldn't interest you.
Didn't read the review, as I already know I'm interested in this one. I only hope things get super meta, like towards the end of the Bravely Default and Bravely Second.
Skyward Sword is an amazing Zelda game. I absolutely love it and would probably put it in my top five Zelda games. It's on the complete opposite spectrum from Breath of the Wild though, since it basically consists of only Dungeons (even the ground areas acts as dungeons).
I managed to pick this up for the DS 5ish years ago for $5. It's really fun, and I enjoyed my time with it. Always glad to see a game having a chance to be experienced by more people.
@IronMan30 Well of course it won't. The X Box Series X and the PS5 are in its innovation phase of adoption, while the Switch is somewhere in the majority phase. It just makes sense that they wouldn't be doing as well to an established product that's still in high demand. Whoever told you that needs to retake their business classes.

Re: Talking Point: If Nintendo Released Them, Would You Play Virtual Boy Games In 2021?
Absolutely! I always hoped they would release them on the 3DS. Though I probably would only be interested in playing Mario Clash and Warioland.
Re: Rumour: The Next Donkey Kong Is Being Developed By The Super Mario Odyssey Team
Well the team that made Mario Odyssey also made Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, if I'm not mistaken. So they can definitely make good DK games.
Re: eShop File Size Of Nintendo's New Switch Title Game Builder Garage Revealed
This will go well next to my LABO games.
Re: The Konami Code Turns 35 With A Special Album Of Lo-Fi Gradius Tracks

Re: It Looks Like Labo Is Being Put To Rest As Nintendo Takes Down The Website
After hearing this I went ahead and bought the VR expansions that I never picked up. I really liked the ingenuity behind these games.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #82 - Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
Voting for North America, only because it actually lacks angry eyes Kirby.
Re: Feature: Zelda: Twilight Princess' Flipped World On Wii Made Me Go A Little Cucco
The Wii version of Twilight Princess released first, and as far as I'm concerned every other version is the flipped one.
Re: Random: Nintendo Has Uploaded Its Switch Online Trailer (Again), And It's Still Getting Disliked

This is the April Fool's joke article right?
Re: Random: Fan Builds Program That Lets Switch Joy-Con Play Music Using HD Rumble
I mean there is a less sophisticated mode like this with the Labo piano.
Re: Japan Voted On Final Fantasy's Best Games And Characters - Do You Agree With The Ranking?
@Donnerkebab I honestly love the experimentation with the battle and level systems. The setting is pretty great too.
@suikoden I guess it's more fun to hate on Tidus, the character designs, and the voice acting. But honestly I don't have a problem with any of those.
Re: Japan Voted On Final Fantasy's Best Games And Characters - Do You Agree With The Ranking?
X gets a lot of hate, but it's a really good game. It is kinda linear, but it's incredibly fun. IX is my favorite though.
Re: Feature: 10 Pokémon Spin-Offs You May Have Forgotten About
@Krisi You make an incredibly strong argument and have thoroughly convinced me.

I absolutely love this game. It's probably one of my favorite indie games of all time.
Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Skyward Sword Is Good, Actually
Skyward Sword is an amazing Zelda game. I absolutely love it and would probably put it in my top five Zelda games. It's on the complete opposite spectrum from Breath of the Wild though, since it basically consists of only Dungeons (even the ground areas acts as dungeons).
Re: The 3DS Game Miitopia Is Coming To Nintendo Switch This May
I really wanted to get this for the 3DS, but never got around to it. I'll probably wind up picking this up for the Switch.
Re: Square Enix Is Releasing A Legend Of Mana Remaster On Switch This June
I'm excited to add this to my collection. It's a shame it wasn't already added to Collection of Mana, but a remastered version is good too.
Re: Donut County Dev Is Now Working On Neon White, A First-Person Action Game About Killing Demons

Re: Travis Touchdown Returns In No More Heroes III On August 27th
The side missions looks as ridiculous as always, but now even the boss fights look crazy(ier). I'm really excited about this one.
Re: Video: We've Ranked All 151 Gen 1 Pokémon And It Nearly Killed Us
Anyone who doesn't rank Sandslash at #1 is objectively wrong.
Re: Silent Hill, Gradius And Contra Composer Akira Yamaoka Teases New Project
Obviously it's a new Gradius game, since that's the one I'm hoping to hear about.
Re: Soapbox: Grinding Is Poor Gameplay Design That Doesn’t Respect Your Time
This is why I love Chrono Trigger so much. I never feel overleveled or underleveled.

Is it just me or does Arthur's arm look broken in the western boxarts?

I picked one up Day 1 and I still find myself playing it here or there. Obviously not as much as my Switch, but that's to be expected.
Re: Scott Pilgrim VS. The World: The Game – Complete Edition Rated By PEGI
Now all I need is for them to release a physical copy of the game.
Re: Review: No More Heroes - A Crude And Madcap Anime Nightmare That Deserves Your Attention

Re: Professor Layton Dev Level-5 Has No Plans For Future Games Outside Of Japan, Says Report

Re: PSA: It's Diddy's Kong Quest, Not Diddy Kong's Quest
I found this out several years ago when it came to the virtual console. I initially thought it was a typo.
Re: Duke It Out In Kirby Fighters 2, Now Available On The Nintendo Switch
Seems really cool, but sad to see no Mirror ability. Especially since it won the the popularity contest last time I believe.
Re: Rumour: Advert Suggests Smash Ultimate's Next DLC Fighter Could Be Revealed By Early October
You know who else has a game coming out by October 4th? Crash Bandicoot. You heard this baseless speculation here first folks.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #60 - Metroid: Other M
Apart from a few story beats I really enjoyed this game. That Japanese boxart looks amazing too.
Re: Poll: What's The Best 3D Mario Game?
Besides two, the rest got 10s. Glad I could help you rank these.
