Spring Man just can’t catch a break

Much as I love Platinum and Wonderful 101...this isn’t a good look. A lot of the support for this game from passionate fans of the game and Platinum, and a lot of them are getting screwed over.

I still love them, and I got my game with no issues and expect the same will happen with my merch but...maybe there could’ve been a better way to do this.

She’s kinda cool, though I don’t think I’ll use her much outside of casual friendlies. The new stage is awesome though.

Didn’t get hit by this in the US, but this seriously does suck.

@kingbk Please no. Platinum should have the autonomy they desire, and some of the collaborations they’ve done wouldn’t be possible if they were stifled by being owned by any of the console manufacturers. Look what happened to Clover under Capcom.

Been playing a ton of this, more than Xenoblade. Probably my surprise GOTY contender this year so far.

Love this game so might double dip for Switch

Love the game, but no excuse for this. Hope a performance patch comes but come on Platinum.

I can't run it on my crap PC, will probably give my code to a friend and buy a digital version on either PS4 or Switch. Probably PS4 since I went physical on Switch.

One Piece fanboy here. The storytelling recreated iconic moments fine though did skip a lot. I also think the game is more polished and varied than previous special moves with more organic and varied maps, air combat, and various special moves. I think there was a lot done to make this far and away the best Pirate Warriors. But again, fanboy, take my opinion on this with a grain of salt.

Not even gonna bother with the NA collector's edition. Step your game up NoA if you expect me to care.

Anyone else tired of NA having lazy collector's editions compared to everyone else?

The 'begging for money?' was basically a fancy pre-order system and used to get more existing fans on board while CONTROLLING their own marketing, and hey...it's been working.

They went independent like this and reached out to the fans because they wanted more control of their destiny and not having their IP's owned. I don't remember them whining about lack of marketing from Nintendo though, they seem to have nothing but nice words for them actually.

And they do know who they make the games for, unless you want to blatantly ignore the fact that people who like action games tend to flock to them.

You strike me as someone looking for a reason to hate Platinum because they don't appeal to you.

Wonderful 101 is one of the reasons I bought a Wii U, same with Bayonetta 2. More than any game Nintendo announced.

Still Platinum’s best game in my book, and the best game on Wii U by far

I’m actually very excited about Byleth, Fire Emblem Three Houses was one of my favorite games last year and Byleth is the only playable Fire Emblem character I have any attachment too.

I definitely understand and respect where the disappointment is coming from though.

Already got it pre-loaded. Will play on Friday for sure if the new Smash character isn’t out by then...otherwise it’ll have to wait a bit.

I’m definitely hopeful on a port, if it’s a tweaked version that addresses the fact that two screen gimmick segments can’t be a thing on Switch.
