I went from not planning to get Sword & Shield to considering it now.

I used one of those vouchers on this game way back in September and am looking forward to it.

Probably gonna nab this. Love this movie, despite how cheesy and flawed it is.

The amount of time i've put into Ultimate is insane. Haven't been as into a Smash game like this since Melee and I consider it the best game on the system.

Mega Man anniversary stream is next month and we already know the next mainline Mega Man game is in development, so...

Grabbed Starlink, both South Park games, and Disgaea 4 Complete+. Pretty happy.

I enjoyed Let’s Go Eevee well enough but still don’t plan to get Sword & Shield, May see what Pokemon does next year though

NA wins both on nostalgia and the fact that I actually think the other 2 covers are weaker this time around, which is rare.

A month is a small price to pay for a collection that has my favorite Mega Man game on Switch.

...duh, yeah. I’m not making some grand statement or anything, but I live on a budget and the changes aren’t ones I’m personally happy with so I’ll get a different Switch game to play while I try to survive the Holidays. That’s really all it is. People making death threats and throwing around hyperbole need to sit down. People also need to understand that some of the changes here will alienate some folk too, and that they’re allowed to have qualms with some of those changes, no matter how personal. No one should be attacking anyone over this though.

@Crockin I’ve had my Shiny Sandslash for over a decade...and I was very proud to get it. Not being able to use him is a blow and most of my other favorites were cut as well. I won’t begrudge those still interested in the game but it was enough to make me lose interest in the game myself. I grew attached to a lot of the mons I use, that’s intentional. And having to leave them behind isn’t something I want to do, so I won’t.

But if it doesn’t bother you or you’re excited for the game then go for it, hope you like the game.

Just needed to make sure Unwound Future was at the top...we’re good.

I’d also like to posit something to the folks saying that if you haven’t played it then you can’t criticize it. We know the national Dex situation. We have the information on the pokemon that are in the game and the ones that aren’t and if someone’s favorite was left on the cutting room floor...take it from me, it can sting. Does it justify the venom I’ve seen thrown around? Of course not, but understand that some people not getting the product do have their reasons even if they haven’t played it.

@SpaceboyScreams in a constructive and positive way, yes, and sure enough there are people approaching from that angle, but the way I’ve seen some people acting has been downright childish.

I’ve made my personal decision to not buy the game, I’m using the money I was gonna use on Pokemon on either Atelier Ryza or Ring Fit Adventure and am just gonna leave it at that for now. Sword and Shield isn’t going to change at this point and I won’t try to scream at it to change itself.

It’s the simplest thing in the world, if you want the game, buy the game.

If you don’t want the game, don’t buy the game.

@gaga64 respectfully disagree. He has a more scrappy, over the top aggressive fighting style than Ryu and Ken while still carrying a lot of fighting game mechanics with him, but implemented much differently making Terry a combo beast. He’s also the only SNK rep that...honestly makes sense to me as the first addition. Adding Metal Slug before Terry would be like adding Arle before Sonic with Sega, or Leon before Mega Man.

I will not be buying a game that doesn’t allow me to use my shiny Sandslash. Sorry.

@personauser93 I mean...you can think what you want to think but it doesn’t take away from his long and storied history in territories that matter just as much as yours.

Bought the fighter pass and haven’t regretted it for a second. Terry is a welcome addition, but between K. Rool buffs and sticking with Hero and getting into elite Smash with him I haven’t played as Terry THAT much. He’s fun though, and a beast to fight against if the person knows what they’re doing.

This is a terrible game do NOT bother.

It is also terribly written and an utter betrayal of the first game.

@Euler Samus was a very dormant character at the time of Smash 64, especially in Japan.

Hell, around that time I’m sure more people in Japan knew who Terry Bogard was over Samus.

Hat in Time for me on the double dip, definitely want that on Switch.

Played the first Digimon Cyber Sleuth, it was good but enough for me.

Kinda reminds me of how Skies of Arcadia was censored in the West on Dreamcast and then later the censorship was put in the Japanese release of Legends on Gamecube.

Haven’t played this game, but I still intend to give it a shot in January.

DQ XI S absolutely deserves that top spot.

Nostalgia bias wins on this, Final Fight is one of the first games I ever got. NA for me.

Fight’N Rage gets my vote, but it scratches a certain itch for me. Untitled Goose Game and Ori are brilliant too.

Greatly disappointed by the original as a backer but...from everything I’ve seen and heard now this DOES seem up my alley. Guess I’ll go for it.

This game is incredible, working for short bursts of kinetic fast fighting between long DQ XI S sessions.

Yeah...it’s Dragon Quest in Japan. Not surprised

It’s a ton of fun, but does feel smaller scale than the main Gunvolt games.

Still, I find Copen to be far more compelling story and gameplay wise, and this game did interesting things with both of those.

I say did because review ain’t wrong, game be short.
