PlatinumGames has released a new trailer for The Wonderful 101: Remastered, set to launch on Nintendo Switch this May.
In the 60-second clip, we're introduced to the game's main cast of heroes and their own, specific superpowers. Those who have played the original game on Wii U will, of course, be familiar with the colourful stars on show, but it's nice to have a recap nonetheless.
In the end, the game's Kickstarter campaign amassed a mighty $2 million, unlocking plenty of stretch goals alongside the release of the game itself. It's due to launch in North America on 19th May, in Europe on 22nd May, and slightly later in Japan on 11th June.
Are you thinking of getting it? Did you back the Kickstarter? Tell us below.

Means no direct tomorrow..
I really hope backers are going to get the game in April, as promised. Or have there been other news? In the trailer there is also one part that used the dual screen of the WiiU versione, but with a PiP, not shure I like that, but I guess it was the only way... Still really excited to play this on the go! (I mean on the go from one room to another, as I am confined at home because of some virus...)
Who said a Direct was going to air tomorrow?
@abbyhitter Leaks
This is the only upcoming game I'm looking forward to that has a release date.
Now I’m wondering if they’ll be able to ship it to backers internationally at all
I'm so excited!
This my 2nd favorite Wii U game and I regret having sold my Wii U
Physical and digital! YES!!
Had PlatinumGames still stick with Capcom as Clover Studio, this game would had been a Viewtiful Joe spinoff.
@abbyhitter The same leak that told us we would be getting an Indie Direct last week.
This is one of the games I skipped on the wii u as its just looked so Meh and more like an indie game.
But lately with all the hype surrounding the kick-starter campaign and how quickly it reached its goal (and smashed it) surely it must be good?
I'm getting marvel ultimate alliance/bayonetta/snack world vibes from this game and since I have played all three maybe I will finally give this game a chance
"The Supersonic Blade, Wonder-Blue..." Okay, maybe it's just a coincidence that they used "Sonic" and "blue" in the same title, it's not like they're intentionally referencing Sonic the Hedgeh—(he's voiced by Roger Craig Smith) OH, COME ON!!!
Bet this gets delayed.
Just fired up the Wii U as my son had a hankering for Pikmin 3 after our dog got his red Pikmin soft toy 😅 My son and my nephew are absolutely delighted to go back to it, love some Pikmin on Switch Nintendo...
As a backer I doubt I’ll get this in April but I’m very much looking forward to it, I had an email this morning saying that the surveys are going out sometime this week to finalise details
Backed it day one!
One of my favourite games this is, and it'll be great consuming the new content.
@Grumblevolcano For me, it's:
Final Fantasy VII remake
Resident Evil 3make
Trials of Mana remake
Persona 5 Royal
Last of Us 2
Cyberpunk 2077
Although, none of those will be on Switch, at least initially.
@Jayofmaya Trials of mana is coming to switch though
@Jayofmaya Trials of Mana is coming to Switch.
Ill pick this up once the dlc hits. I already beat the original on WiiU.
I backed this game, so it's a little weird to see that the game's apparent low poly models problem from Wii U hasn't been fixed.
Have it on WiiU. Don't think I will be buying it again.
@Rafie @Doofenshmirtz Sorry, got it confused with the Secret of Mana remake that only got released on ps4.
