@Giancarlothomaz Because the presence of Dragon Quest has been predominantly Nintendo and all the numbered entries are on Nintendo and has even been published by Nintendo in other regions multiple times. I don’t give a fig about modern Final Fantasy, Sony can keep that crap, but I don’t think Sony should have Dragon Quest over Nintendo.

Bummer. Huge fan of the DS original and I thought NEO was quite good too.

I backed the original and thought it was just okay. Impossible Lair rocked my socks though, I’d love a sequel to that one.

At this point my desire for monster collecting games has fully been transferred to SMT. They’re Just straight up better RPG games, SMT V especially makes these remakes look like a joke.

I hope Dragon Quest throws their hat back in the ring at some point too.

Good, SMT V deserves it. Genuinely a bigger fan of mainline than Persona too so I’m all for this game getting a larger audience.

Sin & Punishment is my second favorite N64 game and Star Successor is my favorite Wii game.

Such fantastic games, legitimately bought the N64 Switch controller just for this game.

I own all except Super Mario Party. I held out and now have Mario Party Superstars.

I tried this once but did not finish the game this way and got paranoid about the way I was twisting my Gamecube around. One of the best WarioWare games before Gold and Get it Together came along imo.

I think Apollo Justice has the best soundtrack, one of the best casts, and a fantastic final case...but I really, REALLY do not like case 3.

As someone that gets crippling headaches from VR…yeah, I’d agree with the review. Switch is the ideal platform.

Oh hell yeah, I loved the original! Copen has the most fun gameplay in the Gunvolt series imo.

@Ralizah Fully agreed. The original might still be my favorite in the series to be honest, though I did really enjoy Seven Sirens.

Series X owner here. It has affected the way I spend money on indies tbh, gamepass just has a lot of the ones i'm interested in. If I like it enough and it's going to leave the service soon then i'll buy it while it has that gamepass discount towards the end. Works out well.

Honestly my second favorite game of 2017, only being beaten by Nier Automata. Liked it more than BotW, Persona 5, and Mario Odyssey. First Xenoblade is my favorite Nintendo RPG though so...biased.

Was thrilled to see Pyra/Mythra in Smash and am thrilled both Xenoblade games on Switch are getting more attention.

Yes Nintendo has the right to shut this down, but compared to how Capcom and ArcSys handle their older games and grey areas with these kinds of tournaments Nintendo continues to prove how backwards they are.

If Slippi were not involved and they said this would be a local tourney with an authentic copy, bet they’d have been fine with it, even with the pandemic going, but they shut the safer option down. Wonder where their priorities are.

This article is also lumping a lot of people together over crap a minority of pro players got up to in a scene comprised of thousands. Stupid article about separate issues.

Oh I’ve been burned by this already

This game has gotten its hooks into me deep. I’ve already put around 25 hours into it since it hit Switch. That’s quite a bit for me. The gauntlets are the best.

Going with EU/NA here, too love the fact that Mario is holding the map.

I recently looked up how much this game is going for and that’s nuts. I’m never selling my copy.

@Fugue Always nice to see another Sin & Punishment fan! I also rank Sin & Punishment 2, Skies of Arcadia, Banjo-Kazooie, and SMT Strange Journey in my top 5.

It’s in my top 5 games of all time. It plays to a certain crowd though and it doesn’t surprise me that people bounce off of it.

Working through hard mode now after getting a Platinum rank on all normal mode stages and getting some of the secret characters. Received my kickstarter copy with no issues but I also live in the US. Will see how it goes for all the extra merch when that comes out I suppose.

I’d love this but I doubt it’ll happen.
