Ehh, not very into fighting games, especially when they have a lot of fan service. It bothers me with Xenoblade Chron. 2 too, but everyone their own opinions about it ofcourse.
We're talking about Nintendo here; a Japanese company. The Japanese are well known to be respectful about things like these. I'm sure we can all wait a few days.
@Blizzia What is a minor flaw for you, is a big one for me. There are tons of JRPG's, with really good characters, stories and their relationships with eachother. The story itself was good, but it felt like a big solo adventure.
@JoyconGang You are reacting on rumors. We don't know a lot about what Nintendo is developing at the moment. It could be a potential Star Fox (Racing) game, but that has never been confirmed by Nintendo. Could also be a new IP, although last year, they brought out ARMS and before ARMS, it was Splatoon, so I don't really see that happening.
Plus, what people want is a weird thing to say. I don't want Nintendo to reivent old games like Excitebike. What your idea is of people wanting something, is very different of mine.
I really hate when journalists give scores based on if it will appeal to you. Seriously, it's common sense that you won't like Mario if you don't like platformers. But if you never played a platformer before, there are few ways to know if you like them or not. That doesn't mean however that you should give scores based on if it will appeal to lots of people or not.
Aside from that, reviews are highly subjective. Not just scores, also the review itself, unless the writer only states the facts like how the combat works, but most reviews state facts and their opinions, so they might as well give a score.
Loved the first season, because it was new back then. Now I know the 'Telltale' trick, most of their games are just plain and boring. It's a shame Telltale went for quantity instead of quality.
@BigKing Mario VS Sonic doesn't have a direct connection with Odyssey. TSA does, with No More Heroes. It's another chapter in Travis his story, while being a spin off.
Man, the comments are going wild.. PC fanboys shouting that PC is 'objectively' the best system to game on.. Seriously? As a PC gamer myself, how ignorant can you be? Every system got it's own pro's and cons. The best system can not be a fact, it's an opinion.
Then you have the Sony fanboys who defend this. I honestly get why Sony doesn't want crossplay, but this is a situation where you can't talk yourself out of. Especially not with a comment like 'we have the best system because we have the best sales!' I'm sure Sony get what it deserves, just like Microsoft and Nintendo got.
Like @Tarolusa said, it doesn't matter who denies crossplay.. If it's Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or even Steam. It's bad for the gamers. Gamers are getting screwed enough with (bad) microtransactions, lot of DLC for huge prices, empty games, high GPU prices, and more.
But hey, let's all state your opinion as facts. That will help.
@Razer "Also just one final point... Mind your own business kid. It's not your business what i do for the games i love.
I know your just butt hurt that i called your beloved MHGU rubbish... But its my opinion..."
Just a friendly guy who is giving your some advice , 'kid', who is not butthurt at all since what you described is not my opinion at all.
But sure, it's not my business and since I don't know anything about yours, I'm sorry. Didn't know a person could get so mad about it. Hopefully TES6 will be worth the wait
@Alber-san Most of the time, I don't like to put hundreds of hours into one game, since I have a huge backlog. Plus, like mentioned before, a lot of those hours went into boring gathering to get yourself ready to hunt some monsters.
I will probably pick up GU after I'm done with World and when it gets cheaper, for two reasons: 1. MH on the go sounds fun. 2. I can form an opinion after my experience with Worlds.
@Alber-san I really don't agree with that. I played 3U (Wii U) and 4U (3DS) which I both have 100 hours in. Fun games, but to me, they are nothing compared to World. MH is a lot of grinding, which in terms of combat I don't mind. But the whole gathering system just sucks and takes too long, something they fixed in World. I take better visuals and surroundings, much less and easier gathering (because let's face it, bringing your pickaxe sucks), the bounty system ánd scoutflies over more content. I'll wait for Monster Hunter World 2 then.
@ShadJV Thats why I won't pick up MHGU. It just looks so bad and clunky. There are parts that look really good, but it feels like one big step backwards.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Did you try Worlds? It's the best to get into. I tried 4U and 3U. I liked both but after 40 hours of playing, I stopped playing. When Worlds launched, I played almost 70 hours in a week. I really recommend it.
I just wish that third party themself would understand that they themself can also optimalise a game, just like Panic Button does. Although I understand it's easier (and cheaper in the long run) to hire a team than make your own people do it.
But with how busy (and probably how expensive) Panic Button is at the moment, maybe that's not really true anymore.
@MasterJay Let it be a series or spinoff on its own. Not everything needs to be connected. It's like @Redax said: it doesn't make sense. Good luck converting your Pokémon with 3 stats to 6.
Would love to see this on the Switch. Especially when I'm travelling, this would be a nice game to start up real fast. Still need to finish it on PC though.
Oh man, the motion blur looks really good actually. I will probably buy it for my girlfriend and play it myself, but still a bit dissapointed about the lack of wild Pokémon battles.
I think they would do really good. Yakuza are being ported to PC, but there is still an audience which I think is profitable on the Switch. I just think basing your opinion on Wii U sales (I didn't even know Yakuza was out for Wii U, which says a lot) is not the right way.
I'll pay for the online service (I'm in a group with others so it will cost me near $4 a year), but the only thing I don't like about this whole service is that I don't know what I'm paying for.
Damn right I'll buy this. Mario + Rabbids is amazing, really underrated. I don't like strategy games (like Fire Emblem and XCom), but the vibe of this game is just so hilarious and heartwarming at the same time.
Wow, actually surprised by this. The Switch is a GREAT system if you've never owned a Wii U since there are tons of quality games (most of them ports, but still, the new ones like Odyssey and Tennis are amazing too).
But the E3 for Nintendo was not a lot of new information on new games. I mean, Pokémon Let's go is a game we heard about before E3 and we knew from Smash that it's coming this year too.
so that means.. People must be REALLY excited for Mario Party?!
Pokémon GO is a lot of fun. I missed the hype in 2016 because I went on vacation, so I never really got to played until a few months ago. There are a lot of updates and the most recent one is really good. The only thing I don't like is how the coin system works, the personalisation options and how gyms / raids work.

I rather see a sequel / new story than DLC, which also fixes the problems the first one had, like the story.

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Design Director Laughs Off Question About Switch Release
@oji I think one of the reasons CoD: BO4 is not coming to the Switch, aside from power, is the Wii U CoD's.
Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Design Director Laughs Off Question About Switch Release
@Majora101 Funny thing is that it's not dying at all. Just look at the sales from World War 2.

Re: Soapbox: Why I Prefer Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate To World
@MisterLizard Ah, people said the same about Fallout 4, and here we are. Plus, you know a game has to be bad if the modding community needs to fix it.

@Alber-san I totally forgot about Torna! I'm pretty sure that I will put a lot of hours into that dlc / game.

And why not buy / build a PC?

Love this game. Trying to finish the Grimm DLC (but Nightmare Grimm is indeed a nightmare) and then do the real bossfight.

@VR32X Funny thing is that when you want to complete Hollow Knight, it's more than 100%.

@Cobalt 'we deserve'. You don't deserve anything. If you don't like this HD remaster (nothing more then that), don't buy it.
Re: Guide: Getting Started With Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on Nintendo Switch
I'm so hooked to World (PC) that I probably won't pick this up.

@Razer Be realistic. A Diablo 2 remaster exclusive to Switch. Guess we're both laughing very hard.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 25th)
Monster Hunter World, just picked it up on my PC. Will probably play some Hollow Knight (almost finished it, I think) and NieR: Automata too.
Re: Video: Get A First Look At Diablo III: Eternal Collection Running On Nintendo Switch
@Razer 'Blizzard one of those developers where if they're making games for you, your hardware WILL sell.'
Eh, it's a 6 year old game which has been launched on other platforms. I think it's more the other way around at the moment.

The Switch doesn't have a lot of power, agreed. But you can come far with optimalisation, just like Day said.
It is just really funny that ARK is running so bad on PC, which makes his statement one big joke, even though it's the truth.

I don't think there will be interaction with the main series and I hope I'm right.
