Totk was a much better game tbh... the game did pretty well but sales will drop off. Probably not going to come close to the over 12 million total sales that Arceus had.

Honestly not a bad game but im kinda glad it didnt do as well as arceus. We need better Gamefreak. Especially for the price tag

Low expectations cause this game isn't great on the GC. Ill gladly try a demo and see if its anything like its original. Yall KNOW that was Sakurais idea cause Nintendo been stopped that since the 3DS era.

Im honestly already hoping for something better next time around. The city is starting to feel rather... dead.

For those that didnt see the leaks. Pokemon will be switching to a new graphics engine after this game so here's to hoping for something better.

You know as someone who owns the original air rider on the gamecube. I wasn't really impressed by it... nevertheless Sakurai rarely disappoints so I'll withhold judgment.

2. A full region to explore
3. A better story

I get where ypur coming from and rest assured there still are fans that hold out and dont buy the game. The sales drop for Z-A may signify this to an extent. And there's a number of games and dlcs thay I've skipped out on. So there is still hope. I know a decent few people who held out for this game.

Arceus was a brand new formula hence why sales were better. Also being brand new, the game set a high bar for pokemon games in the future. Hence the better reviews, equaling the better sales.

All that to say i am loving the game (mostly the combat aspect of it).

Already pre-ordered. Going with my co-worker when it drops to pick it up. Worse reviews than arceus but it'll hold me off until the switch 2 gets some better games.

Yea that was a major setback of the game. Comparing it to any other game that comes out near the holidays is just wrong. Honestly it still holds the top spot for a pokemon game in my book.

The stand alone city was a concern from the moment the first trailer dropped. Maybe the dlcs will open things up?

Kind of sad that we won't get revisit all other areas of kalos.

For those interested, centro leaks has everything. Been following them for years and their sources are 90% on the money. I won't spoil anything for yall but im still waiting for story leaks.

Tbh scar/viol game was bad but story was pretty decent. Especially the ending twist. Arceus was awsome story and even better post-game story. Please don't let me down Gamefreak.

Point taken. I meant for nintendo. We all know they don't really much about our criticism as long as sales are good. That was evident with the most recent mario galaxy reboots for 3rd console in a row now for the 40th anniversary of mario.

Only reason anyone knew about him was cause of his excellent name lol. Regardless I'm kinda surprised that he stepped down without reason.

Perhaps decent actors, a good storyline and an original take (i.e. mario and luigi still being Italian plumbers in Brooklyn to reflect on an old popular show). Not to mention good animation.

For example pokemon movie sucked due to the plushy looking barely recognizable creatures, and bad acting. Sonic was a little rough seeing a very annoying side of sonic that wouldn't shut up and a sometimes odd and uneeded story scene...

There are just my guesses of course. Im no expert

Its kinda sad that the game looks so close to Scarlett and Violet. Pokemon games are really falling behind in terms of graphical appeal. Ill bite for this one hoping for no week 1 crazy stupid performance issues or glitches.

Honestly we're overdue for gen 5 and gen 2 remakes but if the graphics are still like this I think I can wait.

There's a reason the first movie was (and still is currently) thr highest grossing video game adaptation movie produced. $1.3B speaks. Wether you saw it or not. Enough people saw it and Most of them loved it. Adults and kids alike. Personally I am down for a sequel.

I've skipped all the dlcs for any pokemon games in protest of this scrapped content getting added to the game for half the price of the stupid game. All that to say, this time they played themselves so smart that I will cave in and buy this dlc when it comes out.. I dont care for the story or the content, only for my boy. They've done it. They've finally done it. Mega Raichu is finally here. I can die in peace now...

Lotta people hyped about Metroid prime 4. Personally I wanna see more Kirby air ride gameplay but I am open to anything new at this point. I feel like switch 2 launch is kinda lackluster compared to 2017. Also yall KNOW at least 10 minutes of this direct is gonna be about Pokemon Z-A cause its a month from launch. Won't be watching live cause I work but hope its worth it.
