Hacking Nintendo, how many of us here have the skills to do it? I don't think many of us do. I assume it requires some semblance of intelligence and above average experience with IT. And yet, he has CP laying around in his hard drive. Like he wanted it to be found...
The North American one is very dear to me because it was my first video game ever (that's the cover we got in Portugal). But I voted for the Japanese one because that makes more sense. It conveys the idea of "World" better than the NA one. The French one is just ugly, too much text, strange composition.
Just got mine in the mail today. Took some pics in case anyone wants to see what they look like. Pretty good I must say! Heavy and thick, they seem quite resistant. Better than the Death Stranding one I use most of the time.
@JimmySpades I was starting to think I was the only one who noticed that.
There's always going to be people who react negatively to negative comments, readers and staff alike, instead of understanding where the criticism is coming from. One can't excuse everything with "if you know better go ahead and do it yourself". Everyone knows it's not that simple. No one is going to start a news page and become successful right off the bat. It takes time and work, which NintendoSegaLife have put towards making a generally great site here. Sad to see they need to be reminded not to drop the quality with these lazy copy paste jobs, and also sad to see staff antagonising the very readers they write for.
@Damo are you seriously defending an "article" that consists of copy paste and no actual writing of a story? You can't possibly be saying that with a straight face.
Here's an idea, try to read a press release or a statement, parse it and identify the key ideas then write an article using your words, applying a few quotes here and there and then indicating the source. A few websites that I know of have been doing that for a while now, to some success. I believe they call it "journalism".
Could also be useful to apply this thing called "listening to your readers" rather than telling them "you can read it just fine".
Really poor article here Liam. If we don't read that wall of text in the picture, your article doesn't explain the "why" or "how". This is the equivalent or retweeting, rather than doing actual journalism.
@ComposedbyNone wtf, if that's the case the photo is really deceptive. That link I posted is from the actual Nintendo shop, so if the product doesn't match they'll get a complaint from me.
I do notice the frame rate dips but it doesn't bother me too much. I enjoyed the demo. But I'm a guy who played the whole Hyrule Warriors game on the original 3DS 😅 So I'm not super fussed about frame rate as long as the game is fun.
I'm very happy for this, will get them in Japanese if not released in English. But now comes the part where I'll sound super entitled but... I really want Trails in the Sky too
@Doktor-Mandrake The SNES is considered retro these days though, by the majority of gamers. Retro isn't just things that existed before you were born, it's mostly things that are now discontinued and/or outdated.
@Doktor-Mandrake The PlayStation came out in 1995. That's 25 years ago. The Super Nintendo came out in 1991/1992. That's 29 years ago. Why do you find it easy to call the SNES retro and the PS1 not?
Also, little tidbit for you, Microsoft was making games way before the XBOX came out

Re: Monster Hunter Movie's Chinese Premiere Reportedly Cancelled Due To Racist Joke
@Damo why am I not surprised clickbait expert Damo wants to do as little work as possible lol
Re: Monster Hunter Movie's Chinese Premiere Reportedly Cancelled Due To Racist Joke
@Damo add that to your article, not the comments.
Re: Monster Hunter Movie's Chinese Premiere Reportedly Cancelled Due To Racist Joke
"The movie's Chinese premiere has reportedly been cancelled."
"The film launched in China on December 3rd."
Great reporting from Damo once again.

I would be playing Hyrule Warriors, but Royal Mail thought otherwise. I'll be playing Dead Cells mostly, instead.

Re: Physicality Games Cancels Its Exclusive Pre-Orders For Switch, Will Refund All Customers
@Damo so if I RT that statement I'm suddenly a journalist? You'd think that's how it works, but it's not.
Needless to say, that image with the statement is very hard to read on mobile, because the letters are smaller than the article.

Re: Adorable Pikmin 3 Deluxe Coasters Appear On My Nintendo Europe
@Archius9 £6.99 is probably what they would cost if you bought them at any retail shop, like Forbidden Planet or whatnot.
Example: https://forbiddenplanet.com/279260-dragon-ball-coasters-symbols-set-of-4/
So what's happening here is that you're actually getting free shipping, not a free item.
