Ever wanted to know what it's like to be world-famous, rocking up to red carpet events and having everyone know your name? Well, Celebrity Life aims to give you a taste of exactly that.
From Polish publisher Game Factory, Celebrity Life is currently in development and is expected to launch on Switch and other major platforms in 2022. It promises to let players experience both the bright and dark sides of fame; you'll be working hard, earning lots of money and spending it on everything you've ever wanted, but expect to have your life choices scrutinised by the media at every turn.
Here's a pretty lengthy feature list:
Decide how your celebrity life unfolds. Take time to carefully build, monetize, and maintain your image to eventually become the most famous celebrity in the world. Or make the most of your five minutes of fame just to spectacularly waste it seconds later and end up forgotten.
Easy to become a celebrity, hard to master being one. Remember: it’s easier to climb to the top than to stay there. Becoming a number one celebrity is nothing compared to keeping this status.
A unique mix of strategy, RPG, and simulator mechanics. Plan activities that will make you even more famous. Manage your budget and contracts. Try to keep sane while living in the spotlight.
Choose your career path. Become an actress, a singer, or a model. Fulfill your dream and see for yourself if it’s what you expected it to be.
Customize your character. The first celebrity rule is to stand out from the crowd, so make sure to present yourself in a spectacular way. Just don’t overdo it, as being yourself is what makes you special.
Decorate your house. In the end, fine feathers make fine birds, so don’t forget to fill in your surroundings with all sorts of furniture that only a true celebrity can afford.
Make sabotage your second name. Get ready to reveal the skeletons from your rivals’ closets or play by the rules and forget about fame.
One to keep an eye on, or not for you? Don't let the fame go to your head in the comments section below.

The Sims 4: Final Kingdom Hearts Fantasy: Switch Edition: Movies Only: Digital Edition: Featuring Olimar from Pikmin 2: & Knuckles
So it's The Sims but with added car crashes and sabotage?
By almost every measurable metric, this seems like the game I would least like to play in 2022
Sounds like serious training for people who want to be YouTube stars.
For me, these games only work on PC because controllers with will probability feel awkward.
Celebrity life you say. Well i'll make my celebrity princess Zelda from TP
@HotGoomba___Rebrand & Knuckles!
2022? Isn't that when Covid-21 will be in full force?
@MaxlRoseGNR Two Knuckles is better than one.
So sims 4: Get Famous?
Sounds like something I would have fun with. Provided there's a ton of content there and the gameplay is deep
Looks... promising?
It looks a lot like The Sims without the eating, and defecating, and whatnot.
Though this will probably be more similar to the likes of Miami Nights: Singles In The City and its chibi-styled DSiWare exclusive remake Miami Nights: Life In The Spotlight. I kind of miss those sorts of trashy life/dating sims though.
Can I do drugs and get arrested in this game? Will it have boobs?
In this day of release date set backs why even set 2022 as a goal. No one is going to get excited now for a game like this that has absolutely nothing new to offer.
