I stopped caring about Miiverse a long time ago.The moderation is pathetic,there's ridiculous restrictions on posts,the communities are bland and/or annoying,false reporters/immature kids,among other things that irk me.And many of these things haven't happened to me personally,or at least not to an extreme extent,but to friends,followers and those I follow

There are dozens of D&B in my county alone.It'd be crazy NOT to have it in at least one of them!

(Dang am I late to the party!)I think a 2016 release is way too early,let alone the summer of that year.The NX will only just be unveiled at next year's E3.
Just to put it into perspective,the Wii U was announced in spring 2011 and was released in the fall of the following year.Same situation with the Wii(announced in 2005,released in the fall of 2006)
I believe the same will happen with the NX; the release date being in the fall of 2017 (at the earliest).The development will go on for at least another few months after the NX's announcement and about another half year for the production process.
Makes me wonder about that chip or whatever AMD is making,as well as SHARP's LCD screens they're making for Nintendo.Neither of these pieces of tech won't begin production till next year,which I think will coincide with NX's production.Just my thoughts anyway

Keep in mind that Iwata does not hold as much power as we think. I remember reading somewhere that Iwata wanted to implement features like universal voice chat, but the other,older members of the board shot the suggestion down
I can't bring myself to completly blame Iwata for all the bad decisions that are made when I know he's not the one calling the shots or gets turned down if he does

This sounds like good news.I for one really liked Metroid Prime:Hunters and would like to see the hunters again in some way or form.They could add one of them in Smash to promote a new Metroid game where they make an appearance. But that's just my wishful thinking

Great,now there's no reason for Wii U owners ,who were hesitant to give their money, to back the game. And no one can complain anymore

They've funded the game and reached so many stretch goals in such a short amount of time;I'm sure this stretch goal will get funded by the end of today,especially now that the Wii U version is confirmed

Funny, I was wondering what had become of this game just yesterday. Its good to see they're doing a bit more for the Wii U version(instead of just a lazy port)

Me and my sis love us some good ol' GH.Our names take up good amount of space on GH3 arcade highscores hehe.It'd be awesome to rock out in our own house on our own system for a change.The only thing that seems weird to me is the new button layout. If I wanted to play realistically I'd just grab a real guitar.Sis is not gonna like this
If the game has a good amount of any REAL rock and metal tracks,I might consider getting it.

@Retro_on_theGo The sequel is exclusive to a platform that never saw the first game,just because Level-5 thinks that their kid friendly game is better suited for adults,who just so happen play on their mobile. So Level-5 decides to make it for adults by completely excluding the platform that made the first game popular in the first place

Unbelievable. This is a very lame excuse.Why don't they just tell the truth,that they've given into greed and are trying to get Angry Birds/Minecraft success with this move.At least then I could still hold some tiny respect for them for their honesty

By what I've heard about FL2 its more of a village building simulator now(?).It still has its RPG and Life elements but I don't think it'll be the main focus of the game anymore,so in a way,its not exactly the "true" sequel(but maybe this is just my own wishful thinking) Even so,they are alienating the fans(young ADULT fans included)who got the first Fantasy Life who don't bother with mobile(as a gaming platform)

If Level-5 never makes a true sequel for the 3DS,I fear that with this decision Fantasy Life will no longer be able to grow as a series.A true shame,since the first was absolutely wonderful for me and thousands of others

Currently playing this game and loving it.I'm willing to purchase this "ultimate" version if it has a good amount of improvements

As for the Basic Pack thing,I'm not sure.Sounds to me like you might want to download it if you want faster loading for the overworld.Download all if you want faster loading times in general.That's what I make of it

And here I am just waiting to see how this all will eventually play out.Any person with a brain can predict how they think things will turn out.They could be right,could be wrong or partially correct

What's the point of getting the physical copy if I need to download what is ultimately a patch to have the game to run the way its supposed to?I'm probably making this a bigger problem than it really is,but I still find it annoying in the industry as a whole

What I meant is that I expect Nintendo to not focus so much on mobile down the line.I'd rather see them use their time and resources wisely on their future (and present) hardware and software instead of their mobile division

Basically what I mean is that I hope they NEVER show some app for mobile at E3 or make said app a big deal in their Nintendo Directs.
What I mean is that I'd much rather see Nintendo focusing on how to make better games,getting more 3rd party support,handle DLC properly,creating some kind of quality check for the eShop(Meme Run,Spikey Walls?),reaching out to fans to see what features they could add or improve to Wii U or NX,etc,etc..

As long as Nintendo doesn't lose focus on its main hardware and keeps their mobile division as a secondary or even tertiary thought,I'll be satisfied

EDIT: Or use their partnership with DeNA to somehow improve upon their main hardware and its software.Nintendo has way too much room for improvement and I'd like to think they're headed in the right direction.We'll just have to see

Out of sheer hype,I stormed the Smash Bros site and checked every nook and cranny simce it went live all the way up to the game's release date.
I checked it once more and I can assure anyone that there aren't any "slots" on there.It just looks like empty space to me;space that was also there when the game was announced and after a new fighter was confirmed.
It' simply how the site is layed out.Nothing more.Everyone can chill out now haha

@Quorthon That would be hilarious! Although,I'm sure he gets messages all the time anyway and this ballot has made the requests go back to how they were before the game released. The only difference is that now 3rd parties are also getting vocal

I can see Sakurai scrapping the whole ballot due to the ridiculous requests and adding one character he already had planned for Smash.That's what I would do

@PlywoodStick Allow me to get this out of the way:This particular decision from Level-5 had nothing to do with Nintendo going in the mobile direction. The polls you referred to regarding the DeNA partnership only mentioned how we felt about Nintendo doing this,not other parties.
I don't think fans were prepared to know,or could even imagine that the next installment wouldn't even be on a Nintendo system and the reaction shown so far was to be expected. I apologize for not properly getting the point across and going as far as assuming your discontent was towards the fans without realizing you are also one.That was kinda rude :l

As for Nintendo and other companies following the trend of putting out games for mobile, I'm simply not sure how to feel about it myself.Skeptical and worrisome if anything.
Many developers are seeing the success of these platforms and obviously want a cut of the cake.However, I don't think it has been done the right way yet and by the looks of things so far(looking at the likes of that Sonic runner and the ridiculous toxic trend of micro transactions),I doubt it'll be done within this year. It leaves me wondering if these companies even know what they're doing anymore.Level-5 not bringing the direct sequel to FL to the 3DS is simply baffling, surely you can see it too

Nintendo did say that they weren't going to have their stronger titles for mobile platforms and that they're still mainly focused on their own hardware(which is why they had to talk about NX at all).The way I took it,the future games that end up on iOS/android will be smaller spin offs(like the obvious Pokemon Shuffle) to promote their main series
Will this work out for Nintendo and the industry? Will Nintendo keep their word on keeping their focus on their platforms?Who knows

More arrogance from Team Meat.Like the article says,back in 2013 they wanted Nintendo to put their forgettable character in Smash even though said character's game was never on a Nintendo system.Oh sure,they said they would port the game and support Nintendo,but only AFTER their mascot got recognition in Smash Bros.Simply pathetic
If they truly wanted to work with Nintendo, they would just do it instead of trying to capitalize on Smash Bros success

1.This is not Nintendo's doing,it's Level-5's decision.Remember,they are not part of Nintendo.You might wanna get the correct facts on your side before trying to sound smart with you're blatant prejudice of the Nintendo fan base

2.They are bringing the SEQUEL to a well liked game with a decent following to a completely different platform
That's like Nintendo announcing that the next F-Zero(or any other well liked IP)game is exclusive to smartphones.Highly anticipated game,but exclusive to a platform that didn't even have past installments and/or a platform you don't like.That's just alienating the fans(or potential fans)of the series who don't have or bother with that other platform

I'm not not how to feel about this,given I'm still sour at the fact that Fantasy Life 2 is going on mobile instead of the 3DS(or at least,before the 3DS)

The animation looks great and interesting.We've the standard jrpg cliches with the charm of a kid's show.I'll keep on eye out for this animated series when it starts airing.

As for the actual game,it looks very similar to Fantasy Life.It's all well and good,but I'm not liking the idea of these keychains.Hopefully they do more than just unlock a certain weapon,like perhaps include a quest/new area related to said weapon.That would give at least some incentive to purchase these things.Its most likely that at least one will come with the physical game and the rest sold separately(maybe through the eShop as well later on).

By what they've shown so far and the fact it probably won't come to the west anytime soon,It's still too early for me to get exited

This is an absolute shame.I loved the first Fantasy Life and was looking forward to the next one,but now I doubt I'll support it even if it gets ported to the 3DS.If that's the way Level-5 wants to go then I want no part of it.Wish them all the best on this decision
