Re: Former GTA Boss Dan Houser Says Zelda: BOTW And TOTK "Feel Like Hitchcock"

@jfp But don't you think Nintendo games (and now movies) are actually blockbusters made by a company that don't take much risks anymore ?
They kept their cold blood and took a risk with BoTW (a WiiU game, originally) when they were close to the edge and when Itawa ran the house...and because they couldn't feed a console only with "Mario kart" and Kirby remakes.

I wish they made more space a for more creativity and experimental things like Mario 35, F-Zero 99 or this cardboard stuff (Nintendo Labo).

It looks like the laboratory has closed its doors and that Nintendo asks itself : "What Disney would do ?"

Is Muhammad bin Salman still a shareholder of Nintendo ?
Knowing that Singapore is a tax haven with virtually no political opposition, one can see the democratic values of Nintendo which is a multinational like any other.
One for the money, two for the more and more standardised and pricey video games (and Legos, and Happy meal, and bland movies, and real estate, etc...)

I found Lego Voyagers was the most appealing game of the Direct.
It's published by Annapurna, which seems to have slightly changed their artistic views to make more $$$.
The daughter of Larry Ellison eventually became a business-as-usual adult, I suppose...

Re: Opinion: 10 Years Old Today, Undertale Has Been A Constant Source Of Fun & Learning Between Me & My Kids

@NintendoJunkie My comment doesn't contain an ounce of irony. There were enough original and intriguing game mechanics that made me stay but I found Undertale disturbing and unpleasant by the way the story unfolds. I couldn't tell you more without spoiling this already bitter sauce.
Just don't put too much trust in that skeleton character that sticks with you along that game, which has been widely praised, but turns out to be a sadistic moral lesson, in my opinion.
Keep in mind I'm in minority, but still...
