Did the Cotton reboot come out in the EU eshop? I can't find it. Hoping for a western physical release anyway. Anyone got any info on that?

I managed to get through the checkout process. You can use the coupon NEWPIXEL (first time customers) to get 15% off. I didn't even know this company. Apparently they ship from France. Was nice to have lower shipping costs compared to my LRG orders, as I am in the Netherlands 😁 I ordered two Switch games along with it (Golden Force and Finding Teddy 2) and only paid a little over 90 euros with the coupon.

To celebrate I played Mario Kart 7 online with a friend this evening, just like we used to do years ago. Amazing you can still easily play this game online!

Match of the millenium is my go to fighting game on the NGPC.

@chardir Ah, I guess you're right. It's just I can't remember them ever using that wording before. It does sound plausible though, for a 50 minute live stream. So in that case: hype! 😄

Isn't anyone concerned about this being a live stream? Usually these are prerecorded right? I've got a feeling a live stream will be a lot less information-dense.

@Lukeim64 I've never played the Sonic games on Master System and Game Gear. Never played a whole lot of Sega to begin with 😅 somehow I got into this one though. I once sold my (small) collection as well, after owning the system back in 1999. Luckily I was able to find a nice replacement collection about 6 years ago. These games coming to Switch is a great thing though. Physical collection would be even better!

@Lukeim64 I played through Sonic Pocket Adventure, I thought it was a pretty good game for a 1999 handheld system.

I have a NGPC system, but don't own Cotton due to it's hefty price tag. I'm curious about the game, so I would buy that one immediately.

Too bad SRG doesn't offer a duties paid option. Add shipping, taxes and handling fees and buying this game from outside the UK is quite unreasonable. It's shame, I would have liked to have this one physical.

I've seen a video on Youtube (RGT85, sponsored). The music is nothing like the original game, unfortunately. Dealbreaker as far as I'm concerned.

Cool, this game has intrigued me since the first trailer I saw. They announced early on that it would be getting a physical release, but it took a good while 😅 I'll be getting this one along with Scott Pilgrim. It's been a while since I've ordered from LRG, but it seems now is the time again.

Exactly. People often dehumanize celebs like they don't have exactly the same emotions as everybody else and also disregard the pressure of always having a camera on you every step you take. However, if you only know Kanye from the media I'm not suprised you think he's an a-hole. If you'd make the effort to get to know him better you'd be a lot milder I think. Anyway, although he may not be a great fit for Nintendo, there's no denying the guy's an artist. I suggest checking out the podcast Dissect if you're interested to learn more about Kanye, his music and how he struggles with mental issues and being a celebrity. Peace.

It will probably get a Limited Run Games release in the future. Too bad. I guess I'll buy it on PS4 at some point.

I can vouch for the dpad as well. I had my worries before I received mine, but now I wish my pro controller had a dpad like the Evercade.

@Moonlessky I've updated my joy con in the past, but not recently, so I'll definitely check that, thanks a lot! Isn't it weird though the joy-con don't automatically update when attached to the Switch?

It's too bad an otherwise great console is tainted by this one issue that I believe could be fixed if Nintendo would only put the neccesary effort into it. One thing is for sure: not buying a pro model until it's confirmed these issues are fixed. We're three and a half years in, come on Nintendo.

I've had some drift on the first set of joy-con that came with my launch Switch. What I'm mostly experiencing though is unresponsiveness, connection issues and joy con just randomly turning off, all with the dock and Switch in plain sight, in front of my tv. Very annoying.

Hope it's good! Or should I hope it's bad because I can't play it after March? Weird.

I hope Tinker Racers is good! I've been craving a good Micro Machines game on Switch ever since I replayed MM V3 on PS1 with a friend last year. Such a great game with so many laugh out loud moments. A port of V3 would be awesome as well, but again, I'll gladly take this if it's any good.

I'd like to have these physical and would have gladly paid for regular non-special editions. I wonder if those may be announced at later time. With shipping to Europe this special edition is 200 USD. Still tempted though...

I'm going for a complete set, that is, if they can keep up the quality. These two seem allright.

I'm happy to say I'm pretty burned out on limited physical releases. I'm happy I got what I got, but I don't see me buying much more of these. Of course I'd make exceptions for something along the lines of Ori or Cuphead 😅

@BenAV agreed 100%. I played the physical release by Limited Run, which came out later, so it does feel like a little early for a sequel anyway, for me at least.

The rumour was probably true the first time it surfaced. Of course, now that's it leaked again, Nintendo will probably hold on to it for another 2 years

I really hope they bring Cotton! I have a NGPC, but no way I'm spending hundreds of euro's on a game, which is what Cotton is currently going for.

I played the original Mario Bros a lot on the service. Really fun high score chaser. I agree that Lolo should be higher, it's a great game and I would love to see 2.

Definitely a lot more affordable than the original cartridge on NGPC! I'll be picking this is up and show support. Hopefully more NGPC games will make it to the Switch.

The second one is nice. Usually these wallpapers are way too busy to use comfortably, like that first one. I'll actually pick the other one up.

I was already sold on this game, but didn't realize until now that this game is created by the guys who did the remake of Wonder Boy the dragon's trap. That game was awesome and it gives me even more faith that this game will be too.

Yes, that's the one! So no official announcement, but I kind of expected the digital and physical to coincide, consindering they were apparently working on it some time ago. Guess we have to wait and see.

This game intrigues me. It's supposed to get a physical release on Limited Run Games as well. I was actually on the lookout for that one.
