Hum, I don't know. I get disoriented easily. That divine beast in botw, the one in the desert, I couldn't do it without watching someone do it on youtube at the same time. If it's anything like that, count me out
I really like 2d platformers, so I am interested. Having said that, I'm really longing for some new and different experiences on my Switch, in 3d preferably.
Is that a worldwide release date? Is it confirmed to also come out in Europe? I don't mind the delay, I want to play Super Metroid on my mini Snes first anyway!
@Switch99 I'm in the Nederlands, didn't check the eshop, but when I played the game tonight I noticed I could switch to classic graphics. I didn't even agree to do an update (or maybe I did by accident), so it seems it's done it automatically!
@chiptoon I agree. These kind of items are nice to have, but I feel like they should be bonus items/giveaways to promote the product and to encourage people to adopt this game early or something. Paying a little extra would still be ok, but I also feel like this is too much.
I'm glad that I didn't let that 'lukewarm critical reception' keep me from buying it. Already played it for over 20 hours and still really enjoying it. They made an awesome game 25 years ago, so what if they're still capitalizing on it. Good for them!
I got a refund for the NES book. The print quality was really bad and the content wasn't all that interesting. Not even considering this one, I'm just glad I was able to get rid of the NES book. There's a SNES compendium book coming that looked way better. Looking forward to finding out more on that one.
I thought I was the market for this, owning a recent Samsung phone and original gameboy cartridges, but I just found out my Samsung S7 doesn't even support USB C. To be honest, I'm kind of glad, this thing doesn't look so great anyway.
@Rhaoulos That's what I was thinking. I guess I am part of that niche market though. I'll keep an eye on it, maybe I can pick it up once it's in the bargain bin. I have an AGS-101, but the screen on my OLED Samung is still nicer
I highly recommend Pirate Pop Plus. I spent many hours playing that game and I am sure it will have me hooked again in no time if I start playing it again. Also, for that price, it's a steal. In fact, I think I'm going to buy it for my second 3ds
I sent my left joy con in on a monday and received a new one as a replacement the next wednesday. No problems since. I live in the Netherlands. Just call Nintendo and return the thing is my advice.
@mcmilk @SMW I haven't been able to test the replacement joy con yet. However I do have hope it will fix the issue, as I tried the joy con of friend of mine for a good while without experiencing any issues. On the other hand, I also played for two hours straight with my original joy without issues. Problem is it always returned sooner or later. The fact that Nintendo promised to check it quick and repair/replace it within a few days helped me to decide to send it in.
I sent in my left joy con to Nintendo (in the Netherlands) last monday. This morning I received a new joy con as a replacement. I advise everyone who is having problemes to just directly contact nintendo customer services (by calling them). To me it seems they want to solve the problems of early adopters ASAP, at least here in the Netherlands.
I've had problems with the left joy-con. Tried the joy-con of a friend in my Switch - worked fine. Called Nintendo and they promised they'd check my joy-con the same day they receive it and replace/repair it if necessary. Sent it in today and curious to see how it all works out. It's indeed hard to tell how many people have problems, can't we do a little poll here at NL?
Anyone know when we can expect reviews of these games (on NL and in general)? Hope to see some before March 3rd, so I can better decide which ones to get.
I definitely sensed some unadressed sexual uneasiness when they were playing the Milk game during the Treehouse thing. Kinda funny that no one could comment on it.
@Tsurri I don't own the game yet as I don't own a Wii U. It's just that after the Switch trailer came out I'm hesistant to buy any 3ds game, especially the ports I was really hoping for in the past (Mario maker is one of those titles as well). If there is a good chance that we will see Switch ports of games like these in the first two years or so, I'd rather wait and play all the other games that I haven't finished yet. Having said that, if I really enjoy the demo I might get it anyway. Thanks for your recommendation!
I remember reading about neo geo games in a dutch magazine. It was such a mysterious system to me. Never saw one in real life, never heard anybody talk about it. Being a kid I could only afford SNES games on sale, the prices of neo geo games were literally unbelievable to me. They still are to be honest.
I preordered the Nes mini at a gamestore in the Netherlands, not in time for the first wave though. The store clerk told me last week I'll be getting mine a week later. I don't mind waiting. The thing is, I'd like to get one, I don't need to. May be a different story with the Switch though. Luckily I was able to preorder the Switch in July, so I guess I'm pretty much first in line with that one. But whatever happens, never gonna buy from some scalper.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE
I counted them last weekend, because I was wondering about that as well. I'm pretty sure this one is number 30.

How about some Samus face plates for my regular n3DS Nintendo?

Thanks! I will import if I have to. I just prefer to walk into a store and buy a copy without additional costs.

Re: Nintendo UK Has Reopened Pre-Orders For Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition
@ImagineerNik
The 3ds game is physical. There is also a download code in there for the original gameboy game which has a slightly different name

I consider myself optimistic about Nintendo's future, but 100 million units in this day and age just doesn't seem realistic, at all.

Gamemania.nl even has it for 9,98 in the Netherlands. Guess it's a mistake, but I preordered it anyway
