I dont believe that, nothing is certain in the gameindustry, its all about momentum and the games.

The problem is that if nintendo waits too long with tgeir nex gen console, people are fed up with the switch and start moving over to ps5(probably ps5)

It happend with the wii.

No problem the first year.
The nextgen consoles are expensive, there is a console shortage and good games and deals are scarce. And nintendo has alot of new and quality games.

Worries start in 2022

I agree the fact nintendo charges money for old wii-u or gamcube games, but the whole snes library (prox 3,4 gb with all region versions) should be for like €0,99 a piece, so you can make your own collection, unlike that lame online system with games you dont want.

Pikmin 3 switch is no ordinary emulated game you goons.

There is actualy alot of work to do, to recode the original version, plus they added new content, and better graphics.
The switch has no wii-u hardware, so you should know your stuff before complaining.

What gives complainers the right to value it for a bargain!? Get a job please, and let the rest of us be very happy that we can enjoy pikmin on our most beloved system:)

I have my switch hooked on a 65 inch lg cx with a philips sync box, so every lamp turns to a color mapped on screen.
I tell you, when my wife and kid play this game, animal crossing is pure magic with all its colors, in a dark room.
I have like 6 lights in proximity of my screen.

This game looks nice, and my wife and son are playing this game everyday, and realy enjoying it.
The reason why i dont play it, is because the camera functionalities are realy bad.
Why not 360 movement what hell.

What i do like about it, is like nintendo posted on the daily news online, take notice of all the attention to detail.
Every item look beatifull, i like the weather effects, and the fireworks lightning effects on the beach. Every item is put attention on it, the caracters fur looks realy cool. Also the museum is great, but should have had alot of info about the species in the museum itself.

Still on wii-u because people are cheap, and wait for that non profit bargain. Well good for you.
You should have bought the game at a fair price, now the game is only an obstacle for the new entry.

If you still want the game, i would search as fast as you can for a secondhand or new fysical copy, before you pay twice like pikmin 2 on gamecube.

Beautiful game, although the battle system as creative as it may seem, ruins the game for me.
Constantly pressing R+L and not working fluid with a time limit got me pissed off.

Updates that don't do anything except security.

Personaly i think breath of the wild, is one of the most memorable game ever made.
Imo the glider and the fact you can solve any problem with the abilities you have, and things you found, is what made it such a strong game.

Although it could have been better, if they added hard to find huge secret temples and did something extra with the rumble function.

I think the next zelda game could be the best game ever made.

Even reggie had to defend himself in the media, never seen this before in the 35 years i follow nintendo.

You have to look at a year both handheld and console are suffering from low sales.

But nintendo never financial suffer, they make highly profitable products, wich protect themself against any scenario, unlike other brands who have to wait till the 2th even 3th fysical year to make a profit.

Why is 2020 in here?
Just of the shortage? What about animal crossing, and almost every store has to be stocked before christmas.

Look like fun games, roque company has my intention.
But guys dont you think the switch now start to need a very big game soon like zelda or metroid.
I have the feeling the apealing of the switch starts to decline, well its my personal feeling how how i look at the switch at this moment.

Of course there is enough to enjoy, but i mean to get more people to the switch something special has to happen within next 4 months before those nextgen consoles will be launched.

I look forward to pga in the meantime, its been awhile since there has been a worthy golf game:)

7gb!? I was expecting more like 22gb or so.
7 gb is average.

Looks more like a 1 on 1 port according to its filesize.

Nonetheless this game is still a must have.

Have not bought any products of ea since andromeda. Im.not fond of the company, but releasing mass effect triology will get alot of peoples support.

i always say, the older you get, the more conection you get to childhood behaviour, they just want to have fun.

Not realy my favorite console, but its concept was realy unique and i understand why so many people love the wii.

Strangly, i realy loved the wii-u though, so maybe i pick one up this year so i can play some wii games i missed. I almost play any zelda and mario game on every console, and it still bothers me i had to miss galaxy and skyward.

I think its a little bit too small and cropped, but i understand as japan has the most expensive ground a m2 in the world.

There is realy no end term of stopping this game in sales.
Who would have thought the switch would become so popular.

I think it will break every record in game history, watch the corona outbreak sales figures next month. I would not surprice me, the switch is hitting 75 million sold units worldwide.

It must be something around that amount, since most shops haf prox 5/6 units in stock before everybody went crazy, and then we dont even count big online shops in every country.

nintendo is basicly a modern way what disney was in the 21th century.
So i understand this investors motives.
Although i dont think nintendo has the same business drive that walt disney had.

Not possible man.

The games needs all the system memory, so multitasking is out of the question. The OS is just not build to multitask, only thing they could do is add twitch for watching streams, its impossible to play switch games and stream at the same time.

I agree.

Those titles deserve to get attention, the wii u had some magical games.
The wii-u itself was also a fantastic system, but you had to own one to see it yourself.

I still think the concept would have become popular if it was slimmer and could be taken from home like the nintendo switch, and nintendo had worked on these relationship with 3th party developers.

I'll hope concept will be tought of in the future, i realy liked the usage of a secondary screen in games.

Not realy intrested in most of these metroid games beside the first one from the wii.

Bad luck this all happens in the year when new consoles are being launched. Those events are always magical.

Whats the point in showing a fps movie trailer and telling what kind of game it will be?

Not many games are realy metroidvania anyway, yes there are maps and sub levels, but where is the atmosphere?

Yeah, but where is motion controll on a n64 controller.

Best thing you could do is to buy a usb bluetooth transimiter and use ps4 controllers.

I prefer those even above the pro controller, wich has a rumble function (its not adding something to gaming IMO) and just dont like the bulky layout. Also it suports motion controll

Thrifting can't be solved. It's an hardware issue most common with people who push the analogsticks to hard or in most cases eat crisps while gaming, its just dirt.

The most iritating problem are joycons that keep disconecting, i hope the update solve this.

Well microsoft is promoting its brand via nintendo switch. Looks like a return favor to me.

In the near future i see both of them working more together, maybe with a streaming service.
At that time hardware is not relevant anymore.
I see it happen within 8 years.

Microsoft will help nintendo to set it up.

The xbox needs a game like banjo kazooie, without these type of games i see the xbox franschise slowly die.
They already took a hard punch after the xbox360.
The console misses diversity in games.

It also the reason why i left my favorite brand, games are depressing, you want to see more exclusive titels like on ps and on nintendo consoles.

The xbox is all about explosions, shooting.
The console made me depressive, and the xbox one was a mayor setback after the legendary xbox360.

Well, they dont want to make money obviously.

I never understood, why rare never made a true follower of banjo-kazooie, banjo-tooie.
Its one of the few great games they made.

But if you want to see those games in full glory, buy a next gen console and play as they attended to be played.

Strange thing is, i say fysical copy at the mediamarkt a week before launch in the netherlands.
But before i wanted to buy it, i wanted to check reviews on the internet sinces i brought not my smartphone with me.

At home i could not find any data about it, only a release date april the 1th!!??

you cant blame nintendo for such strange times, not their fault all of a sudden everybody with kids on this planet want one.

they delivered at launch wich other companies could no do, like sony, wich is imo a way bigger company

Dynamic camera with analog stick. Sometimes you can't see behind objects, i dunno why anno 2020 nintendo did not thought of this?

A protection mode for your stuff, if you have a kid that sell all your stuff, like mine, who sold my wifes fenches and flowers lol.

The games ui gets quit boring after some time.
Also the islands are boring i miss caves, diverse music, thunderstorms. You get the point.

For the rest its a sweet game, my wife and kid are enjoying it, but it holds ME back to start the game.
Its just to blend.

Next update should be, that your kid (second account) cant sell your stuff, where you can password protect some actions.

These updates are getting annoying. The game is just 4 days old and everyday since launch we get daily updates Sometimes very slow download.
Why dont the do this once a week, in one big download.
