although i miss the magical moment from day one, i was always dissapointed in the months after i don't buy nexgen consoles from day one any more. i wait at least a year when there are a bunch of great games available, and the console price drops or you get bundles.

after 2005 it was alway a win win situation.
beside that, i realy like the switch, i dont have the need of a new console.

sega is dead for me since the dreamcast era.
always hanging-on to those lame sonic games, or classic, not daring new project.

their games have always maintained an arcade style, with awfull rock based sound tracks, full of glitches and no product feels finished.
the only great sonic game is actualy sonic aniversary, and its not even on all platforms.

the world changed, gamers changed but sega never changed with it in a positive way.
the brand is for people who like nostalgic and have youth sentiment, while such a big name should be trying to look at the industry, even indie developers surpassed them.

i talked with my 8 year son yesterday about pokemon and pikmin, he called them pokemin lol.

there is so much to play right now, and they are still remakes of old mario games. galaxy is great though, but mario64 has been played to dead by many people and is getting too old, and wel mario sunshine is imo one of the worst mario game.

and lets not forget, if you want to buy a mario game you buy mario odyssey, wich is one of the best mario game ever made, no the best.

good for the fans and nintendo, pikmin finaly gets apreciated.
its a fantastic series, that deserves to he continued. i hope in the new nintendo console, because i want to see a glorious 4k version of these funny little fellows.

played mario galaxy this month for the first time, i must say i was sceptical about the setting and gamep play, but its truly a masterpiece:)

still mario odyssee is imo the best mario game ever made, followed by 3d world, sMW.

what i realy like about odyssey was that you could transform into enemies and it has 2d levels in it.
i hope nintendo will add more of those levels in the next mario game:)

i wonder what happen to sales figured when mario 3d world comes out. its a game alot of people missed.

well it still has to catchup 60 million sold wii units.
thatbcan be a problem, because the wii was also apealing for non gamers, sportschools, educational, caretake.

i dont think the switch will beat the wii, but it will be close

still people want one, even more then one in a single household.
i think i will end up with more then one too. my wife likes animal crossing, so waiting (hoping) for a great deal on black friday or around holidays

sunshine was by any means an awfull mario game IMO, confirmed by my 8 year old son, who only plays mario 64 and mario galaxy, and hates the setting and controls

did not got my money since andromeda.

this company goes against anything i like about gaming. its not the programmers fault, its the greedy ceo and its managers.

first of all, i never liked blowing air (and dust) into my computer systems, i use a small vacuumcleaner, then clean it with a earstick.
you also have to look out with airsprays, the cheap ones are not for electronics, there is too much moisture in it.

there is only one game btw, that overheated my switch several times, namely goat simulator.
dunno what it is with this game.

nintendo make pure innovative and quality products, and think about something totaly new every cycle. and i hope they will continue to do this. although i reaky hope that for once they put something realy powerfull on the market.
i just want to see those nintendo games not running behind today standard video output.

we have to admit, the concept switch works vecause it was something new and between the lifecycle of the xbox one and ps4, and because it takes time to deliver huge quality ganes for them, while most switch games have an average of 4,9GB therefor have faster quality releases.

Im starting to apreciate this haloween tradition more and more, its a cozy tradition with nice decorations.
Maybe a substitute in the near future for our killed sinterklaas tradition in the netherlands.

I also miss the ambiance of super metroid, but thats was just because the music did a lot, the combination of both, made it such a master piece.

What i found most dissapointing after super metroid were the boss fights.
And that the setting was not eerie and isolated.
For instance i dont like it when samus meet crew or have conversations with a comm bridge or computer. I leave it rather up to my imagination what has happened.

Imo one of the best platform game creator after miyamoto, has left the industry. It not something taken lightly.
Can be because ubisoft did not care about rayman anymore, why he is leaving, who knows.

Rayman 2, legends and origins are one of the finest platform games ever made, and im gonna miss this guy, because i have a feeling we wont see rayman, teensies, and globox for along time.

Its just an update to protect new nintendo software.

As kid we predicted that nintendo will lose the console war because it lacks cd-rom.
But i always understood why nintendo never choosed cd-rom. The CDI flopped, same as 3do, and amiga cdtv.

But they never looked at the rising gaming pc market.
Still say, that if they made the n64 cd based, and its architecture ofcourse, took 3th party serious it would have become nintendo's bigest succes.

I wish ubisoft remakes the splintercell edition.
Those xbox origin triology, not these crappy xbox 360 versions.

Those games where awesome.

"Prince of persia sands of time", is one of the finest platform game ever made. Played it several times on the gamecube, xbox, both fantastic.

Not giving away any spoilers, but man, that ending was simply amazing and emotional.
I realy loved that mix of sound and silence while climbing those mysterious arabic envirements.

This game is still in my favorite top 10 of all time.

The other versions where OK, but what do you expect when the series kicked of with such a high quality title like sands of time.

If you have not played it, at least give sands of time a go, you won't regret.

Nintendo's most underrated game, but for me certainly in the top 5 best nintendo franchise.

I know how you feel when you hold the cover in a gamestore and doubt, i once had the same. But im very glad i bought it to gave it a change.
Its a realy funny game with a good laugh, but beside this it has great mechanics and its briliant.

Don't be fooled by its presentation.

Well the wii-u hold one of the best games from nintendo, the console was heavy underrated imo.

I had a ps4 and xbox one, and picked up a used wii-u for a bargain, let me tell you i did not touched my ps4 and xbox for one year.

It was a big surprise for me, because i did not have anything with nintendo from 2004.
So yeah bring on those wii-u titles from this heavy underestimated console

Would not surprice me at all, the switch is already 3.5 years old, and it does not have a MK version of its own, i think they worked hard on it the last 4 years.

Also i think we are gonna get bombed with mario games the last 4 months of this year.

Nintendo was never near bankrubt, not even once poor. The can survive any storm eve 3x wii-u in a row. They earn more money then microsofts xbox an sony's playstation together.
With one simple trick. Make cheap hardware sell expensive and make great games with almost no price drop.

And this time they earn even more becausecthey are finaly accept any game for their system, and their team made some historical games.

To get absolute world domination in terms of users, they should release a very powerfull console and a great online system one year after the ps5vand xsx

I never noticed any framedrop in link's awakening.

There could be multiple reasons for lagging.

*Your system is overheated during summer, your system cant release its heat.

*digital copy of the game on a cheap sd card with low read/write speeds, or fake sd cards with false specs.

*wifi connected during gameplay.

*there something wrong with your system CPU/GPU (worse case)

check if your game is ok by pressing start on the icon.

Guess their still in early stage of development, probably in stage one where sketches and storyline is done, and has to be rolled out to the team.

Well this stage is very important to get the team together with a meeting and devide the tasks,
To get in one line with eachother.

Never played it, but i also never felt like i wanted it to play.
I'll bet its a great game, but i just don't like the setting of that game, plain simple, it has a boring level design, compared with other zelda games, like its rushed.
I cant remember (from streams) that there was one moment i was impressed, thats something i have never had with nintendo games even when i did not own their console and over-watched from an other console.
Because when nintendo launch a game you have to see it, even if you are a ps5 or xbox gamer at that moment.

Its same i felt about twilight princess, with that dark pc style graphics.
Well thats my personal opinion.

What i've learned and concluded about nintendo, is that they are the think-tank of the industry.
The true leaders who shape the way we are gaming. Not the most powerfull hardware, just the most powerfull ideas.

Humble, silent, without a bad word about the competitors, they come out of their batcave and all of a sudden strike back with a brilliant idea, wich ofcourse will be copied later on, and silently and still not complaining, they start to think about new ideas.

Thousand year door was bloody lineair.
Imo and i have played ttyd, its not as fun as origami king, where you walked from A to B, story finished and thats that.

Its a fantastic game, dont listen to those dinosaurs with youth sentiment people especialy those idiots that did not played or just played a few hours and judge it by its battle system, just buy this game!!!!
It has everything you want in a adventure, its so magical, authentic nintendo but yet so fresh.

This game is full of tiny little wonders, and i never expected to be this good the since the first hour i played it with my son, who even felt emotional about one particular caracter passed away.
Great job to hit that emotion to a child.

A 9 out of 10. A little magic wonder.

Even though think it will hit wii numbers.
The console starts to lose its freshness.
Alot of indie titles, no real big releases beside metroid 4, wich i think will not come to this gen, and a handfull of remakes.
And then all of of a sudden tge ps5 and new xbox are around the corner.

Now these 2 consoles are scarce at the beginning, so are good games, but i expect next year around this periode, it start to roll.

So next year nintendo should make plans for a new generation console, for a good momentum. And release it by the end of the year.
The console and its concept is then almost 5 years old, thats a long time for this hardware, and it will be suported long after 2021 i dont worry about that. Its like the nes was suported after the snes arrived, this platform i here to stay for at least 7 years in japan.
Mainly because it also funtions as a very good handheld.

I also think, nintendo should drop the switch concept, and think of something new. The same trick never have worked for them.
Or make something in between, like the dock as a dedicated standalone 4k 60fps console.
Fill in as you like for the hybrid.

They cannot ignore the 4k era anyhow, this will kill their new product., they cant come up with 1080p 30fps gaming, you get the wii-u effect. Nobody want to pay a expensive nintendo console while there is such a huge graphical difference between others for maybe 150,- more.
And i think cheap and inovating does not work nowadays, like it did with wii.
Lets face it, 4K is hot.

We all seem aware about the fact that switch games look worse then pc, ps4 and xbox one versions, but only those guys seem to be bothered by it.

Still it has had more magical achievements then many dissapointment on those platforms, a platform where nobody is satisfied with any release.

The nintendo switch version is not a ported version, thats why switch versions can't have the same releasedate.

And this is why i like the switch, it has its own unique version of games. I dont care for the wait.

The thousand year door is a rpg, origami king a adventure game.

I've played most of the paper mario games, and i dont understand why origami king get bashed.
Most paper mario game dont have as much diversity in level design as TOK.

We have piramids, cablecarts, rides on a wild river, a huge desert whitn beatiful temples, a sea map with secret islands like the windwaker, a themepark with games, a nice story, a car wich you can drive trough the dessert, a dessert full of secrets, beatifull towns wich you can revisit.

Damn man, imo thousand year door is just sentiment for most, yes maybe it had a better story, but it was a game way more boring during gameplay because you run out of secrets once found.

I think most people bash this game after returning it to the shop, because of the battle system, and actualy never played this game long enough.

Im actualy find origami king a very good game, only thing what could be a complain, is that you can't use any caracter abilities.
Bob-omb for example.

For the rest the game is very good, and has alot of jawdropping levels, and the game is very diverse with animations, and settings.
Its funny, it feels like a big world, the story is great.

Im now at prox 30 hours or so. Favorite level samurai park theater

I give it a nine out of ten.

Well thats why nintendo put all their force into metroid prime 4, even guys from bungie.
They messed it up with the last wii version other M, and they knew that.
There is something special coming up real soon.

I still think it is a big miss, this game never gets a VR version. Before the nintendo switch was developed i was the first to mention this on miiverse.
Just imagine this game in VR with that setting, fight with ripley etc, also those dark and atmospheric envirements, damn. And what about the reaction of consumers who use the VR demopods in store.

If a vr version will skip this nintendo switch version to put ahead on to the switch 2, i would not be mad.

Because there are less installments of metroid than animal crossing within a short period.

Wait and see what happens when metroid prime 4 comes out, there are alot of new users on the nintendo switch, not like those housewifes and grandparents who gamed on the wii.
Alot of pc and former xbox users have a switch. I think metroid 4 will he a huge hit, if there will also be a multiplayer.

There is not realy coexistence, nintendo also needs an audiance. Fact is the true loyal nintendo fanbase, is not that big. The switch is just a popular console wich had great games from the start, but loyalty and consumers dont exist anymore.

One simple rule, dont ***** it up in the early stages of the launch. Nintendo kept delivering quality games like an absession, and this is what paid off
