if it is botw or totk like it would be the first pokemon game i actualy gonna play.
never liked the concept and graphics. not a bad game, but sigh so bloody mediocre enviroments.

a huge open world with oceans lakes, mountains towns ould be very welcome, i just want that same feeling. go wherever i want.

Pokemon need to change.

the stamina is there to make you realize you are vulnerable in nature, you have to solve situations. why is there stamina? well duh it is there to make you feel proud when you reach a top of a mountain, you discover something new, and ofcourse you get tired of climbing a mountain.the question should be, why do so few games have stamina? especialy open world games.

same for so many koroks. why are their 1000 koroks to be found? it is a question from people who do not like exploring, the koroks are there to discover unknown place all over the map for a more immersive experience.

thing is, you can even achieve goals without using any weapon or gear , just with natures elements. this is what this game stand above other games, each person plays the game different.

as example: i killed a large group of bokoblins with just the power of lightning struck. just grabed a metal weapon, use magnesis to lay this sort in the middle of the group, then the lightning struck the group.

Stamina? i set grass on fire with flint and wood, select my torch an use the hot air to ascend into the air and climb a tall mountain.
just examples how you can solve things with thinking out-of-the-box. allas not everyone van think in solutions.

in many things totk extend this logic thinking, i give you the ability to make airplains with lasers,tanks you name it, but sometimes the solution can be very simple. how many people attach a wooden board to a hook to take a ride? while you can just use only the hook and cling on to it. you even use nearby tree logs😂

I always wonder what kind of gamer dislike botw and totk.

imo it is just a lack of patience and the fact people gave up because they die because they usualy play simple games where you can't die.
a miss if logic and not enjoying gameplay just rushing trough games.

this is one of the best game ever made and all this pure objective from a gamers point of view.
The opinnion are always worse from thise who never spend time on this game.

the future is concept consoles, own hardware dedicated software.
xbox dead, playstation dead. we get sony/MS studios software on pc, what value has a additional expensive device next to a pc then?
i would not even exclude ps and xbox software running on nintendo hardware.

this said, after 2014 i never bought a xbox anymore and never will in the future.
MS destroyed so many great gamedevelopers, it is simply against my nature about something i love so much, to suport them.

Any company need money i know, but at least some still care about gamers and the games they make, rather than corporate greed filled with "managers" and so called expendable employees like talent, creativity, and love to make game does not have any value for them. what can i say? i don't think attitude will be future proof. every year same madden, every year same fifa, less effort more money, pushing forward see if they can squees employers, rob comsumers. these companies creat players not gamers wich is harmful for the industry as a whole, it shapes a bad landscape of games and consumers, but it is not the consumers fault.

beside that new hardware will be using energy like you putt on your elektric heater.
new hardware using an additional +500 watt at least, expanding to 1200 watt.

Nintendo need to arrange 128gb gamecards fast. Games need to stay available in the future, when someone manage to get the game and a sw2 console but can't download the game itself.
128gb or better 160gb would cover nextgen physical releases for 8 years ahead.

There must be something why nintendo does not want this. Digital sales?

this is what counts. I like the fact we can now play on a device that have best of all worlds.
nextgen titles+nintendo exclusives+ almost any indie game, hell, even shovelware huuuu.

this is not to say about the playstation 5 at this moment.
even though the ps5 pro is way more powerful then sw2 let there be misunderstanding about this, but sony is jealous about this at this moment, what nintendo now have in hand, used to be playstation .

I am realy interested in the latest xeno blade wich came out last year i believe X?.
Been able to play all xeno game on switch one and found the latest game the most apealing in terms of graphic style. the others somehow did not kept me hooked.
but then my switch broke down after 3 hours of gameplay in X.

what i find very important of graphics is everything about how great the story is. i like emotion in games. is xenoblade recommended for this?
the story itself kicked of just right. imo i instant live the caracters and their background in combination of warfare wich made them brother in arms.

but is the 100h gameplay worth it, does it not get into slob?

all games need a demo, it is as simple as that.

Why? it is not only for spec freaks, but to give people the oportunity to like a game, rather to let them spend 70,- (as example) then hate and downvote on internet. now we have to judge a game based in YT footage or screenshots.
it is not the comsumer a developer want.

futhermore i want nintendo to divide the sw1 section and sw2 section. there need to be a switch 2 shop, with a note and link that the sw1 version is compatible but with downgrade only or with upgrade.
The nintendo eshop is a mess imo.

Sorry it was not my intention to rant, it is just that almost everybody complains about the high price of goods nowadays not knowing why it is expensive. I realy hate herd behaviour, when 80% of people label it expensive cause influencers labeled it expensive. Again it is not an expensive device for where it is with technology at in this market.

Even SBC people on reddit find sw2 expensive, and brag how great konkr and odin can run emulation, but we are looking at 30 to 20fps in snap dragon gen 3 with framedrops in tears of the kingdom(cliff jump) and the emulated version does not even look that good as sw2 version, it look good because of oled.
It is basicly the pricetag wich downvote sw2 but ignore facts. for our insight, a Sd 8 elite version of a sbc handheld with 12/16gb ram is almost 700,-
wich can only be able hit totk at 40fps stable, although it is emulation and switch 2 has dlss, totk on switch has solid 60fps without complicated processes.
I hope you guys read this and least consider why sw2 is 499,- don't let yourself manipulated by sour youtube vids from influencers that gain subscibers because hate get you subscribers. do research yourself😊

i am deep into handheld technology, if you consider how powerfull the sw2 is conpare to SBC handhelds like odin 3 and konkr elite wich are running on snapdragon 8 elite and cost like
470,- and are weaker then switch 2 with smaller screen (oled though) and we talk about devices that are niche, the switch 2 is basicly cheap and truly nextgen in the handheld sector.

it feels like the sw2 is up there with how ps2 and xbox origin where launched. just basicly the vest technology at hand.

the n64 would have been 399,- backnin the nineties if it had cd technology. it would have needed a faster vram. they basicly compensate this with more expensive cardridges wich had worse deals then games on cd.
the wii was the bigest goldpot, thing looked state of the art but was basicly a gamecube engine people said like 4x times more powerfull.
wii probably estimated 50,- to manufacture.
just old out of production ATI cpu chips, bought by nintendo to pat and matt a new cknsole together.

To be complete objective about the whole pricetag of sw2, it is basicly the first nintendo console after snes that aim at the high end market. you might not notice this because our mindset is nintendo produce cheap consoles and sell for high price. but the sw2 has way less profit for nintendo them sw1 and most other consoles from the past. they pribably earn money on a cheaper screen, and lame ass cheap battery, and high price software with low cost small storage cardridges(don't wait for bigger cardridges), that is their triforce this time.
but their engine is a monster with or without dlss. i know this because i follow
SBC devices close.
when you jailbreak a switch 2 it would be a emulator beast, if it get driver suport. i mean an handheld with dlss available for emulation.
it will go viral when emilator gameplay is being shared. Not very valuable for me though, but do not underestimate the userbase of the JB scene.

it is a premium nvidia handheld device, highend. period. no offence, but if you only complain about the price not knowing about latest technology and what all this cost, you are just simply sum up shortsighted nonsense comparissons based only on pricetags.

Indie developers actualy show the result what you be able to achieve when you let a strong bound group of talented people create something. indie developers are basicly working like back in the 90's up to 2004.

It is been a outstanding experience so far.
i own a lg oled c9 and almost any old game on 30 FPS pretty much suck, i don't kbow how they pull it off to make this the first 30fps game experience i actualy enjoy.

i have player most of them, i only like the games on gamecube such as roque squadron.

thing i hate about buying frontrow, is that you buy games you actualy do not want to own, because of drought.

4k 1440p 60fps HDR is basicly how i prefer to play on ps5 on performance mode.
imo it should be the standard for gaming nowadays.

the 120fps 4k mode feels not realy like a big deal for me on ps5(it looks sick with racing games though) so the switch 2 has some great specs for how inthink most of us like to play games on consoles.

well halo 1 and 2 would be nice. their only good halo games

I can remember my older brother loved this game back in the nineties. i have try to play this game, but somehow i did not like konami Jrpgs. the graphics, music and setting somehow did not impress me.
still this game is kept mentioned by many jrpg fans in the last 30 years because of the fantastic story.
maybe i have more patience now then i was at 21 year old. i definetly gonna give it a try☺️

i would not stress about the record, because it is already broken. it is just sony and their pride for not to admit.(but for whom you think, nintendo does not care anyway)
beside this the console market was not that big back in 2011, hard to believe all brands together magage to pull 160 mil ps2+80 mil ps3+75mil xbox360 and 110 million wii's.
gaming was big but not like today.
i even believe ps2 sold only more like 132 mil in its lifespan.

we will pribably never know, but what we know is that sales are more transparent these days then back then because of shared sales technology. and former generations had less with gaming.

we live in liv in a era where nextgen games are reaching 100gb data.
nintendo was mot even vapabale to push 64gb cardridges due to expenses.

how on on earth is this cardridge system future proof from start? do we have to buy 1 tb sd cards for digital downloads only.
are we also gonna be slaves to digital only also like on ps5 and xbox live. pay so much money because there are no other options.

this is what i stated.
although i speculate, i can't imagine someting considered as a nextgen thing in the concept of a hybrid console. too expensive, it gets too anti nintendo bulky.
i was more spuleculating some sort of more powerful console with the switch as streaming device. later on a new streaming handheld as aditional hardware, but first a new console.
basicly ps5/ps portal concept.
nintendo just need to target 4k, as the device has to outlast.
