I've seen a couple of YouTubers playing this and it looks fun, I love a good strategy game so I'll definitely be giving myself a little early Christmas present

Hey @AlanaHagues sorry this is slightly off-topic but the Splatoon 3 Deep Cut amiibo have been up for pre-order on the UK's My Nintendo Store for almost 2 days and I haven't seen an article about it on the site, thought you might want to get something up 🙂

@Olliemar28 just thought I'd let you know the 3 pack is available to pre-order on the My Nintendo Store, stock is currently still available but as pre-orders dropped yesterday I'm not sure for how long!

This development debacle would be studied in university on how NOT to develop and announce your game, delay after delay after announcement after announcement... and yet still releasing with game killing bugs. Wow the promise of an excellent game in that first trailer has entirely evaporated and the developers have no-one but themselves to blame.

@RupeeClock it's a pretty disastrous rating isn't it, and I'm betting it will only get worse as well.

@Ryu_Niiyama they're still available from the My Nintendo Store UK, if you get desperate do you know anyone here who could buy them and ship them to you?
Edit: unless you mean Pyra & Mythra who are still out of stock since before release 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️

@durian @EarthboundBenjy @Jack_Goetz try contacting their customer service, I know @RupeeClock was in the same boat and didn't get a confirmation email so they've had to reach out to customer services for assistance. No idea if that's worked tho!

@pjzx the My Nintendo Store UK takes payment in the week prior to dispatch, in my experience is usually the Thursday or Friday of the week before release.

@MoogleMuffins I mean he is hanging off the base so I'm betting it's the bigger size, but a full fiver on top of the usual price is a bit much and I'm really hoping they don't make a habit of this... the Noah and Mio double pack is already pricier than normal and they're definitely not any bigger than usual

@MoogleMuffins yep just finalised my pre-orders for them, even if I am a bit miffed about the price hike for the Ganondorf one.
@RupeeClock did you check your spam folders? That's where my "confirm your interest" email went. I would be gobsmacked if these sell out before you get a chance to place a pre-order though, there's usually an initial period only available to those who registered their interest but after a few days it usually opens up. Just keep checking periodically, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

@JohnnyMind yes it's very odd, this is the first time the My Nintendo Store pre-orders have appeared before all the other gaming websites' so I'm wondering if they've realised they need more stock than they've been ordering in the past...? Regardless I hope scalpers are kept at bay and everyone who wants them gets them at the proper price.

@luckyseven it's early days yet so I'm sure you'll be able to get a pre-order in somewhere, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@MoogleMuffins you have to register your interest on the My Nintendo Store, presumably because they intend to have a queueing system when pre-orders eventually go up

@RupeeClock bizarre isn't it, I didn't see them up for pre-order until about 9pm so I'm very relieved they were still available to preorder after being up all day! You'd think they'd have learnt from the XC3 CE debacle by now but apparently not.

@JohnnyMind Zelda and hot daddy 'dorf are a "register your interest" type situation, you have to input your email address and click the confirmation button when you get the email. Mine went into my spam folder so be wary

@ryancraddock the My Nintendo Store UK just dropped the pre-orders for the Noah & Mio amiibo and I thought you might want to let people know since they're just open for anyone to order... they are 1 per customer but that doesn't seem to prevent scalpers at all so people need to be quick on the draw.

Very, very disappointed. It's all but confirmed new hardware will release next year, that's the only way to explain the dearth of 1st party heavy hitters and abundance of ports.

@Ashina I know the context of this article makes your abbreviation make sense but do be aware AC can stand for at least 3 different game franchises (probably more given my not encyclopaedic knowledge of the entirety of video game history) that I can think of off the top of my head 😆

@masterLEON this is exactly what I'll be doing, I simply cannot stand how many mirror matches you get when you're on the popular team so I'll be choosing Frye

@sevex same, I'm currently at 72 and if my calculations are correct I'll need to get just under 2.5 levels per day to finish at level 100. Luckily the week before the last day of the season gets a nice 20% boost to your catalogue points, so every 5 levels you gain you get a 6th for free! At least that's if my maths is right 😅

@vio there wasn't a new one this season either, horrorboros came out last season. I'll be very disappointed if they've only come up with two of the king salmonids when there's so much to take inspiration from

I still cannot believe the sequel to Blasphemous is here before The Last Faith has released, I wonder if that game will struggle to find an audience after two excellent games in the genre have served Metroidvania fans so well

I did think it was something along these lines, I've been meaning to write into your letters page about a great website I found which seems to track every Switch release but I haven't got round to it yet... It's so frustrating that we're forced to utilise external tools to hunt for decent games because the eshop interface is so lacking in so many areas!

@AlanaHagues hey I've been wondered where the European version of these has disappeared to, did I miss something?

@EaglyPurahfan I think the My Nintendo Store were so badly burnt by that release that they had to implement special procedures for certain releases going forward, the Tears of the Kingdom special edition was gated behind an email address queuing system so I was able to secure one fairly easily as it prevented their entire store being downed by the volume of traffic and presumably kept bots to a minimum. More of that in the future, I hope.

@EaglyPurahfan I wish they'd figure out a way to make it happen, I hate the way their products are literally always a gamble over whether they'll sell out in seconds/minutes. I was absolutely shocked the My Nintendo Store had pre-order stock (for Pyra and Mythra) for as long as it did, iirc it was up for pre-order for around a full 24 hours before selling out.
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but I got an email saying the Bayonetta 3 special edition was back in stock but by the time I went to check it was sold out again, unsure if it was a mistake or not but I really hope this means they'll restock the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 collectors edition since it currently sells for between 5x and 8x RRP on eBay!

@EaglyPurahfan given how long lead times are for manufacturing you'd probably be waiting at least a year if not two, especially with how NFC chip production was affected by the silicon shortage

OMG one of my grails is on that list! I do hope this is true because I absolutely refuse to pay scalpers for a GITD Boo amiibo. Here's hoping they'll do the other enemies and villains as well so I can complete my SMB line of amiibo too. Oh and yarn poochie would be nice but I think I'm asking for the sky there 😆

@Classic603 it's a fairly common spelling mistake, lightening means to make something lighter. Lightning is the correct spelling.

@arabiansanchez it's just the way they do it in the Japanese charts, strangely they combine the two versions of Pokémon so it's completely the opposite to how we measure the charts here

@Olliemar28 is there a reason we don't get these for Europe anymore? I've gone back a few weeks and can't see any so I'm curious where they've gone, are releases between the US and Europe so similar now that it's pointless to split the articles?

The release has come at a bad time for me financially so I'm having to ask for it for my birthday at the beginning of next month, hopefully it'll at least help keep the sales going a little longer
