Re: Rocket League Is Getting A Fortnite-Inspired 'Rocket Pass'

@thesilverbrick Ok, but that's my point you just named two third party developers (even though ubisoft may have had Nintendo's help). Everyone knows Nintendo is top tier when it comes to compressing their own games. So why compare RL to them, when you have two examples of third party compression right there.

To address your original point though. I currently have 16 games on my console with 6 being physical. I also bought a 128 GB card (last black friday), and I still have another 69 GB's left on it. Personally, I don't see lack of space being a problem for me any time soon, but I do agree I would like updates to take up a little less data.

@RedMageLanakyn You're right it can be used on different platforms, but depending on what platforms you have to use it will be locked to a single console.

@Alikan I believe it's because the developer creating the game is pretty large, which people assume means quality. And people feel a sense of pride that it can only be played on their console, plus people just like spiderman haha.

Re: Crazy Justice Developer Insists The Game Is Not Just A Fortnite Clone

“we don't believe Crazy Justice is an inferior experience, and we don't even consider our game to be at a disadvantage if Fortnite happens to release for Nintendo Switch during E3.”

In all honesty everything I’ve seen of the game so far seems like they are making very slow progress. I don’t have faith that all the “unique” features they mentioned will be out in a timely manner. And the idea of a Battle Royale game without set character stats seems ridiculous.

Re: Federal Government Is Officially Investigating Nintendo For Possible Patent Infringement

@rjejr I feel like this case will be swayed heavily depending on whether or not they took action against motorola's product as well. That seems to be the exact same product, as you place the controller on an already purchased device. Rather than in the Switch's case, it's something that comes as a default controller set.

As far as the wikipad goes you appear to be placing the tablet into a grip fitted with a controller, while with the switch you just place controllers onto the tablet itself.

Meh either way I don't feel like they could get away with the whole "we already have a product out there, and Nintendo's crushing are dreams" argument. Their site seemingly hasn't been updated since launch atleast 4/5 years. They don't appear to be putting any real money towards advertisements, as their previous lawsuit was the first time I've ever heard of this device. And as I said above if they didn't move in on Motorola, it may really show they are not concerned with trying to stir up some sales.

@QwertyQwerty You seem to be focusing on the themes, while I am focused on what can be found in the game.

"Players use guns, explosives, sci-fi weapons, hatchets to kill human enemies, as well as some dogs, resulting in a lot of blood, gore, dismemberment, screams of pain. Scenes of female nudity, including a shot of a topless woman in bed. Player hears two people having sex, and then see them engaging in it while clothed. Frequent use of "f--k," "s--t," "motherf----r," "[removed]" the "N" word, as well as comments that are racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic."

That appears rather adult to me.
