I’ve never been a big fan of anime, but just like Muramasa on the Wii, i feel like I could spend 100s of hours playing this. The game just looks amazing and if it plays anything like it looks like it looks like it does, day 1 purchase.
I foresee the text being too small for switch screens haha. Looks amazing though.
Wow, they did amazingly well in emulating the older Vanillaware games feel. The art, the animation, even the anatomy
If it plays anywhere near Odin's Sphere or Muramasa, that's worth looking out for
@moodycat Yeah the greedy Switch tax will make it $20-30 which isn't very enticing when it can be found at a fraction of that.
Looks like Child of Light but a hack-and-slash.
Put it on a cartridge and I'll buy it!!
I have this on steam. It's.... okay. Not as good as Vanillaware's finest, but it's servicable.
Looks great, but I actually have Odin Sphere Leifthrasir in the BL, so... I'll come back for this later. Give it some time for a potential physical opportunity, perhaps.
Combat looks like it could be smooth. I’ve had this on my Steam Wishlist and never got around to buying it, so I might deck out the extra $$ to get it on Switch instead. I, too, think it has that Vanillaware flair to it, which has kept me interested in it.
I had some fun with this on Steam for a while, but stopped playing it. I don't think I'll have any problem picking it up for Switch if the price is right.
I don't get why they had to shorten the title, it just makes it feel lazy. Imagine if Square Enix decided to remastered Vagrant Story for Switch, this The Vagrant title will easily be mistaken for that in the eShop search engine.
Im not a fan of these games skipping on frame animations however it is understandable that often times the consumer will likely leave those details unappreciated anyway, and the devs want to hurry to make money. For me though, its an automatic no.
Looks slick and is giving me serious Vanillaware vibes. I'll have to check it out when it makes its way to the Switch.
Played and completed this on Steam years ago, it was fine. Any difference or extra content in this 'new version'?
Looks interesting. I'd love to see a review.
^MeloMan: Same here.
