@NinjaWaddleDee not on PS5, which is where I downloaded it. Every time I booted it up it asked for my number, tried for about a week. Ended up deleting the game.

A big week for new releases…but I decided not to buy Gotham Knights based on the reviews. A plague tale requiem isn’t really my thing, so I went for Mario & Rabbids Sparks of hope! Looking forward to diving in this afternoon 🙂

After watching a few YouTube videos I bought this yesterday. Haven’t played it yet but looking forward to doing so.

@calbeau Pretty sure there isn’t a sandbox mode. Hopefully they will add it at some point.

I love that Splatoon 3 Switch OLED model, but I can’t justify buying it when I spend 99% of the time playing mine docked!

I’ll be downloading Splatoon 3 from the e-shop because of the postal strikes - I wanna be playing it first thing tomorrow morning! I’m playing Dreamlight Valley on GamePass.

Remember guys that if you are in the UK there is a postal strike on Thursday AND Friday this week! Should be ok for retailers like Amazon but check on others. I’m waiting for reviews first, but may go digital on this one.

The original SNES Mario Kart for me. Me and my mate had many a late night playing it. The tracks may have all been flat as pancakes, but it’s “mode 7” graphics made up for that.

It’s on GamePass (where I’m playing it) so obviously the Xbox sales are gonna be low. Saying that, I’m surprised the Switch version has sold almost double the PS4/PS5 sales combined!

Please don’t hate me, but I think I’m about to throw the towel in on Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’s the first XC game I’ve played, and have so far put in around 9 hours. Even though it drip feeds you tutorials, the combat system is just too much for my middle-aged brain! Arts, talent arts, master arts, classes, fusion…🤯 can anyone convince me to keep on playing?

6/10?!? Did someone take a grumpy pill? 😉 Personally I’d say it’s definitely a stronger selection of tracks than wave 1. I’d probably score it 8/10 (7/10 for wave 1).

Did they change Kalimari desert? I don’t remember that ramp on lap 2 being there 🤔

I’ll probably do what I did with wave 1…play them all to death for a few weeks, then get bored waiting for the next wave 😂

They want £12 for Mini motorways?!?! Shove off. I played it on Apple Arcade (which I no longer have) and would have bought it on Switch if it was a fiver or less. Oh well, wait for sale I guess 🙄

Why is everyone saying there are only 6 SW films? Whether you like the prequels/sequels or not, this game is based on all 9 movies And just out of interest, which trilogy are people ignoring? The prequel trilogy got a lot of hate back in the day, but people are now ok with it? Who’s to say they won’t feel the same way about the sequel trilogy in 20 years time.

I think you’ll find it covers all nine mainline Star Wars movies, not 6 as mentioned in your article.

Mine arrived in the post today 🙂 was hoping it would come a day early but no such luck. Will get stuck into it tonight. This is my first Kirby game! Loved the demo.

I bounced off Fortnite pretty quickly, and even that was a few years ago. But a “no-build” mode would definitely tempt me to give it another go. I hated starting to shoot at someone only for them to erect a shed around themselves in seconds 🙄

I’m waaayyyyyyy over the target demographic age, but I don’t care - this looks like loads of fun.

I preordered this today - and I rarely preorder before seeing reviews! Roll on Friday (or Thursday if I’m lucky!)

When is the review due for Kirby and the forgotten land?

Kirby and the forgotten land wasn’t even on my radar. After dusting off my Switch to play the new MK8 tracks I also downloaded the new Kirby demo. Needless to say Kirby now IS on my radar!

@scotty123 You’re probably right. I can’t see MK9 releasing until Switch 2 or whatever Nintendo’s next console is. I’m not complaining though - by the time the booster pass is finished we will have 96 tracks to pick from in MK8!!

How are people playing it already? It’s not as if a retailer can ship it early as its dlc so presumably only available through the e-shop. Looking forward to playing this either late tonight or tomorrow.

I’ve never really got into the Lego games, but have to admit this has me a little bit curious.

Urban flow is well worth checking out. I bought it ridiculously cheap in a Nintendo shop sale - and both dlc packs - and got hooked on it. It’s very addictive in the early stages, but does get a lot harder. The “chill” mode is a welcome addition too.

I’m still on the fence about Mario 3D world/Bowsers fury. I played it on the Wii U but can’t remember if I finished it! I enjoyed it though.

Who’s here reading this in 2021?!? Anyway, I just bought this on the store for little over a £1! Best quid I ever spent. Loving it so far. Even bought both expansions. It’s such a chilled game.

I’ve been enjoying it, though admittedly I didn’t pay for it as I’m playing it on Xbox game pass. Yes the campaign is short, but I’ve been happily grinding. I should point out that I don’t even like the main Minecraft game, I only tried this out cos I like ARPGs and it was on game pass, I probably would never have bought it otherwise.

Never thought I’d see the words Pokemon and lingerie in the same sentence together! lol
