Important: The EU update for this week - rather bizarrely - seems to just focus on the highlights, leaving out every other game release. We'll keep an eye out and see if Nintendo updates its site with anything else and update this post in due course.

Now it’s your turn to embark on an epic adventure and make those dreams come true. Catch new Temtem on Omninesia’s floating islands, battle other tamers on the sandy beaches of Deniz or trade with your friends in Tucma’s ash-covered fields. Disney Dreamlight Valley (Gameloft, 6th Sep, £24.99 / €29.99) - Welcome to Disney Dreamlight Valley! Show your love for Disney with exclusive outfits that celebrate the classic Disney Parks themes, along with beloved characters such as Mickey Mouse. This edition grants access to the game and contains exclusive items. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new. Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle. Now it's up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley! - Read our Disney Dreamlight Valley review
BPM: Bullets Per Minute (Playtonic Friends, 8th Sep, £17.99 / €19.79) - Photosensitive Warning: A small percentage of people may experience seizures when exposed to certain light patterns or images, even with no history of epilepsy or seizures. BPM is a Rhythm-FPS developed by Awe Interactive. Fight as a mighty Valkyrie to repel the forces of the underworld from invading the world of Asgard. In BPM, all of your actions and the actions of your enemies are tied to the beat of the music. Your enemies perform a dance-like sequence of attacks to an epic rock opera. Inspired by retro shooters of the ’90s, it is fast, frenetic and rhythmical. You can double jump, dash, rocket jump and bunny hop to evade your opponents. Your goal is to reach the end of randomly generated dungeons, collecting different weapons, abilities and items each time you play. These weapons and abilities can radically alter the way you play, making each playthrough unique. You must defeat 7 bosses to reach the final boss.

Only game I need:
Splatoon 3, pre-loaded and ready to go tomorrow!!
Already have TemTem and DDV, waiting for Splatoon 3- WHAT A WEEKEND!!!
Just waiting another half an hour for Splatoon to release here and that's my weekend set. Nothing else for me this week but I'll keep an eye on BPM: Bullets Per Minute.
Got BPM and Tem Tem so far Splatoon 3 will be coming next week when i get paid
Very interested in Temtem, but I'm waiting for reviews to make sure it's worth it. They're taking long.
I'm getting splatoon 3 but I'm getting the cartridge
Assuming everything goes according to plan and I can scrounge up a tiny bit more cash come tomorrow, Splatoon 3 will be mine! I plan on grabbing it digitally for pure convenience so I'll hopefully be able to play it as soon as I have a free moment tomorrow (once again, depending on whether I find a few quid lodged between the couch cushions XD)
Does downloading the Splatoon 3 day 1 patch for my physical copy count as that being my download for this week?
Downloaded all of these. My bank balance hurts send help!
and so does my time cause i can't play all of these at once XD
Only 4 this week? where is all the other shovelware? ah well, nothing for me.
Baldo physical should arrive tomorrow from Pix-n-Love to add to my backlog.
@Bunkerneath I do mention this at the top of the article.
@Olliemar28 I know, but I can but hope that Nintendo are starting to crack down on that crap (yeah right, i wish, as long as they are making money they don't really give a damn do they)
I’ll be downloading Splatoon 3 from the e-shop because of the postal strikes - I wanna be playing it first thing tomorrow morning! I’m playing Dreamlight Valley on GamePass.
@Nightcrawler71 exactly the same here, didn't wanna risk waiting a week or more, plus there's no guarantee I could get to shops and find it
Kinda fun when people buy this Splatoon 3 just add dlc to first second game and you will have Splatoon 3 But oh well.
Similar with mario kart alot of ppl want mario kart 9 or something but you get new race tracks now with some skins etc how would it be different if they released mario kart 9 ?
Already hit the discounted pages this week (R•Type Final 2 for £18 wasn’t terrible), so I’m good for now.
Largely waiting for Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary at the moment, whenever that’s set to drop way after everyone else has it - be nice if Toxic did the sequel’s DLC while we’re waiting…
Will wait on the dlc for splatoon 3 but excited for the launch.
Maybe Splatoon 3 because it is value for money...imo The good thing about temtem is that its crossplatform game and i ll be able to play with friends that own other consoles (if only it was 10 e cheaper)
Disney Dreamlight Valley is surprisingly good. Atm there's no in-app store though I know that will change. There is a battlepass but you can't buy additional premium currency right now so you get what you get from the founders pack.
My point is - currently - it's almost better than Animal Crossing.
I NEVER thought I'd say that considering I despise F2P glames and mobile games. It's actually really good if you like the life-sim genre..
Wow that is like a flashback to the Wii U days but you know with two games more than there would normally be released in a week for that system!
I've pre-ordered Splatoon 3 but we have a postal strike here so it will be delayed. Am not too bothered though since I'm busy with other games and haven't tried the new Mario Kart 8 tracks yet.
Lol, the downloads heads-up is rubbish for years now on this site. I personally always get the discounts heads-up from a site called "budgetgaming.nl". Its probably a bit tricky to use if you don't understand dutch, but they always list ALL discounts!
If anyone's interested, this week Atlus are running a sale on some of their 3DS titles, including the Etrian Odyssey games and some of the Shin Megami Tensei spin-offs.
