Today's Indie World featured a decent range of 'Out Today' reveals, giving us some interesting options if we fancy spending some credit right now.
- OPUS: Echo Of Starsong - Full Bloom Edition Takes Off On Switch Today
- Soundfall Finds Its Rhythm On Switch Today
These games are live at the time of writing, as are two more shadowdrops from the broadcast. We reckon both of these will also be worth a look, depending on the sort of experience you're seeking.
Gibbon: Beyond the Trees
Master a dynamic movement system to swing, slide and somersault through a hand-painted jungle. In this moving adventure about freedom and survival, you’re a lost gibbon who has embarked on a dangerous journey into unknown lands. Race to freedom in liberation mode, or play through a narrative that captures the struggle of living creatures around the world.
Mini Motorways
Have you ever been stuck in traffic and wished you could do something to fix it? In Mini Motorways, the city’s traffic problems are in your hands. Draw and build roads to create a bustling metropolis, redesigning your city to keep the traffic flowing while carefully managing upgrades, like highways and roundabouts, to meet changing demands. How long can you keep the cities of the world moving?
Multiple titles with intriguing variety have been added to the eShop today, then - which ones are you buying?

I play Mini Motorways on Apple Arcade. I was looking forward to it on the Switch. But the price has me delaying/deferring my purchase ($15 (USD) - or $5 more than its predecessor (Mini Metros))
Mini Gibbons: Beyond the Motorways
I'll be picking these two up at some point.
Tempted by Mini Motorways. Looks like a pretty chill game to play on the side for a bit.
Gibbon caught my eye and I'm interested, but not much was shown so I'll wait for reviews.
My first words when seeing the Gibbon game:

From the Indie Direct presentation, Mini Motorways was one of only a handful I was super intersted in. The direct was interesting overall, tbf
They want £12 for Mini motorways?!?! Shove off. I played it on Apple Arcade (which I no longer have) and would have bought it on Switch if it was a fiver or less. Oh well, wait for sale I guess 🙄
Gibbon is also on Apple Arcade. Get a free trial subscription and you can play them both for nothing!
Gibbon looks beautiful and I was ready to buy it - I enjoyed the mobile game Alto"s Odyssey and this appeared to be a multi-player take on the genre - but then I saw on the eShop that it"s single-player only. That was surprising because the presentation video seemed to show multiple characters.
