DK64 with tightened controls would make me happy. I love the game (I have the collector/loot bug), but the movement is pretty floaty.

Pretty clear why the review was written as it was. I have zero problem with the approach, factors considered, and recommendation if those factors could be set aside by those interested in the collection. There’s not a whiff of deceit in this review - quite the contrary. I for one appreciate the perspective. The review is of a specific product at a specific point in time, designed to help people decide if they want to lay out for that product.

Kind of silly to complain about the criteria when everything is spelled out as clearly as can be, including the quality of the games themselves.

Good list. I have a lot of these on other platforms, but they’d be great on Switch. And I would indeed buy WW and TP yet again - probably push me to buy an OLED model.

I have both, and am currently using the Deck far more. It’ll probably even out, unless I’m able to handle emulation setup and importing games. Then all our other consoles may become redundant.

I got a dock as well, and love being able to play my Steam library on any TV without moving the desktop. I’m a convert.

I love this, and am on board with Ryu and CharlieGirl. Just enjoy it, no nonsense. I hope Anya has a good ongoing experience and manages to avoid The Gamers TM (credit JSSterling).

Great console. We still use ours all the time. And we can play Minish Cap on the TV. It appears Nintendo is unfortunately sticking with their terrible plan for retro games. Huge step backward.

Played it three times, 180+ hours each. Will never 100% it, too many korok seeds, too tedious.

I love this stuff. Creepy Castle is one of my fave silly-scare levels. The music is great.

Broke down and ordered me a Steam Deck, so that geyser is about to start spewing. Playing Bowser’s Fury currently. I’m consistently years behind the gaming zeitgeist as far as titles go.
