I have a sealed Wii U copy of 1 and 2, but I’m tempted to go all-in with the three titles on Switch. That super ginchy mondo deluxe set caught my eye, and I never get that stuff. Well Skyward Sword, but that was the last one.

Link to the Past. My now-wife introduced me to it on her SNES. My buddies and I had a Genesis. We played that and Super Mario 64 (she had that one, too). Then came OoT. I was pretty doubtful, but “Give it some time,” she said. I’ve played it at least 30 times since.

It’s a bit odd that mid to late 90s games hold up better in my opinion than games from the early 2000s. Might be projection on my part and the diff between games that go after fantasy versus some attempt at realism.

Where the heck does one obtain this version of the game? I assume it’s simple, but I can’t track it down.

Very cool game, and perfectly understandable that it can be a fave. I played through Odyssey and didn't enjoy it that much, even granting it's creativity - maybe because I played the entire time in handheld. Sunshine offers a different experience.
