Update:
Nintendo of America has now released a rather nice TV commercial, too.
Original Article:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is just a week away at the time of writing, which is certainly something to be pleased about for fans of the series with a Wii U. Nintendo has been ramping up its marketing recently, and Nintendo of Europe seems particularly keen to show the game off.
We say particularly keen, as the launch trailer has been released with a week still to go. Despite that it's certainly worth a watch, as it brings plenty of action and is a particularly stylish effort, showcasing the drama along with twists and turns in the adventure.

Check it out below and let us know what you think.

there's a few spoilers in the video to say the least, so you might wanna warn about that.
Very epic! Very excited for next Friday.
@kenrulei not really if you've never played the game (like me), because you just won't know what's going on
So glad I played the Wii version recently (before this was announced), even though they do a lot of comparing to the GCN version, all 3 look too similar in terms of graphics. HD looks the best, but not enough to warrant me to replay this so soon. Thankful I don't have to get in this drama or feel weird about it.
I AM EXCITE!
1 week until new Amiibo 😊
And obviously, very excited to replay this game. Just gotta find time to complete SS in the next week!!!
I'll be honest, this excited me a little. It made me want to go dust off my old Wii copy. I really do love Twilight Princess.
Hyped for next week! Hopefully Nintendo UK Online Store don't cancel my preorder like they did with the inkling squid amiibo.
Very nice! So much I forgot about this game as it is a long time ago that I have played it! Next friday can't come soon enough
Recently sold my GameCube and game collection. I got enough to buy my two children XBox Ones (They have no taste and run with their peers)
The GameCube version was included in that collection. So I've got this on Pre Order for WiiU.
How hard up are WiiU owners for games - that they're willing to pay for this game? This looks almost exactly the same as the Wii version.
Best video I've seen on this game yet. One more week!
Are we still complaining about spoilers? This is a ten year old game. If you haven't played it yet, shame on you. You deserve spoilers.
Good trailer. I wish they could have completely redone wolf Link though, make him look like we was made out of hair rather than clouds. His amiibo is the best one yet though.
People saying this looks practically the same as the Wii/GameCube original need to go back and play those games. Everything is in shiny HD in your memory. This is an incredibly big update.
I preordered this with the amiibo, and it should be arriving a few days after the game launches (I was too cheap to pay the speedy shipping. XD). An excellent trailer!
@MisterMan Cheaper and better than the GC version, and without obnoxious waggle controls. Makes it a pretty good deal for someone like me who has yet to play it.
Cool
Very excited but what the heck man we didn't get an option for special edition in the us. I didn't even know there was a special edition until seeing this!
@CB85 I know, right? So many saying it is disappointing or only a minor update, really... (shakes head)
But maybe people should watch this on the TV instead of on their computer. Fire up the ol' Wii or GameCube with Twilight Princess in it, switch to YouTube on your smart TV or download this trailer to a USB stick and plug that in and do your own comparison.
I did this too and on a big HD TV it really does look considerably better than the original.
Then again: haters gonna hate, and the same goes for whiners...
I was thinking about starting a replay of TP on GCN right before TPHD was announced, so I held off and am waiting in great anticipation to begin!
@Zoda_Fett The boxed amiibo set (I assume that's what you're referring to) is definitely coming to the US, and has been available for preorder for several months.
@Haz nope, I have that on pre order. I am talking about in the second one they have a(sorry it wasn't collectors) SPECIAL edition one. It's got a bigger box with a soundtrack.
@manu0 but you will when you play it, and trust there's a few key spoilers there.
Other than the fact that the trailer is stuffed with spoilers, it's beautiful and reminds me of how much I loved playing this game the first time. I really am getting exited to play it again in HD.
The spoilers are not a problem for me, as I have played the game before, but I feel like this trailer is so much of a spoiler that I would not recommend people to watch it. I would tell them to watch the original trailer for Twilight Princess for Wii and tell them to make sure to stay away from the trailers for the HD version unless they want major spoilers.
@rjejr I'm excited about this, but I agree. I even thought it looked sort of subpar in the wolf cinematic closeups when it first launched. Now with all that texture detail and the ability to see things clearly and sharply in the distance it stands out even more. Thankfully, the wolf movements and look throughout most of the play is satisfying.
@manu0 No, I'd say it's still full of reveals that were meant to be surprises or fun to discover that will be spoiled for anyone who has never played. If you imagine this being shown before the original release for instance, I think you'd agree. It's not just what is shown, but how it connects the dots and gives the viewer a pretty good outline of most of the events that will happen. In a game where the narrative is so spread out, that is subverting a significant part of the enjoyment for someone who hasn't played.
So, I'd say the warning by @Phle and @kenrulei is worth heeding for anyone who hasn't played yet.
Haven't watched the videos as trying to keep the hype for when I actually play (thanks for the warnings), but pleased this is coming next week. I played this on wii but gave up pretty quickly. Don't remember much except the wiimote was irritating. Found the GC version recently, but couldn't be bothered to fire up the wii - search the loft etc.
