Re: Video: The Latest Pokémon Sword And Shield Video Shows A Railway Town Up Close & Personal

Minish-Cap

I can't wait! It is the first time I preordered both games in the series(Sword and Shield). This is all the first time version differences are so different. I normally start with the fire type, Sword fire, and Shield will probably be the grass type. Scorbunny and Grooky, I wonder which will be better. Shield I will replay to see how Sobble will be. Are you guys getting Sword or Shield, do you know who you are getting starterwise yet?

Re: EA Looking To Bring More Of Its Successful Games To Switch

Minish-Cap

It has been since Madden 2013, that Madden has been on a Nintendo console. It has been too long... I have had many consoles since then, I haven't been happy with them, Sony and Microsoft don't have as many great games unless you want to play something rated M. I grew up Nintendo, I know great games do not have to be rated M. Shooting games don't interest me much, except Splatoon and Star Wars. All this said, Madden already came out, NHL isn't planned for the Switch. Would they release them late?

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo DS Games

Minish-Cap

Square Soft(Enix) has three of the top four? I would like to know what the 3DS results would have. Possibly Ocarina and Majoras in the top spot. I wonder will the Switches game list of fan favorites involve so many Square Soft(Enix) games just like the DS? There's so many on the Switch from Square Soft(Enix), it's only been two years.

Re: Pokémon Sword & Shield Are Being Developed With A Focus On Switch's Handheld Mode

Minish-Cap

Focus on handheld means less graphics and probably Less revolutionary. As of now I am disappointed. I was hoping for a Pokemon game better than Let's Go. I wanted a console Pokemon game. Let's Go the control system was disappointing. Why couldn't we use the pro controller? Only being able to use one controller was a huge drawback. It's hard to have a Switch this year. I mean nothing new this year besides a few games. Only Animal Crossing, a handheld Pokemon, a Zelda game that we should have got on Nintendo Online, and Metroid to look forward to. But those are 6-8 months away.

Re: Nintendo, Sony And Microsoft All Under Investigation Over Online Gaming Services

Minish-Cap

Playstation automatically has their paid services as auto-renew. My cousin got burned on PS Now by not knowing that. I have Nintendo Online only because I got it from Twitch Prime free. I used to pay for Nintendo Online but got sick of NES games, and I didn't play online enough to justify paying. As of now I pay for Playstation Plus. With PS Plus last month I got a free PS4 Call of Duty game. Playing games online with Playstation I have no issues. Whereas I had issues with Nintendo playing online. Splat 2 and Monster Hunter Generation dropped every so often. In conclusion I think Nintendo needs to work on their servers and service way more than Playstation does.

Re: Random: Sonic The Hedgehog Creator Yuji Naka Thinks Nintendo Has Changed

Minish-Cap

@Beermonkey
It's hard for me because I have a PS4 and Switch. The Switch is becoming a second console. All these ports that are celebrated for coming to Switch are normally more expensive than on my PS4. I am longing for a full-fledged Nintendo game, not something that looks 20 years old. Look at the sports games and compare from the Switch to PS4 and Xbox. The Switch looks closer to PS3 graphics than 4 or One. I won't say anything else, I don't want to argue with a Nintendo fanboy.

Re: Random: Sonic The Hedgehog Creator Yuji Naka Thinks Nintendo Has Changed

Minish-Cap

@Dilated You can only find the shrines so many times before it becomes a chore. I am just sad, that's why I loved the Wii so much. I could play Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Link to the Past, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. And the Switch gets what?.... I don't want to buy a 3DS. If you can't tell they are my favorite series. I don't like the new way of business.

Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Creator Yuji Naka Thinks Nintendo Has Changed

Minish-Cap

I don't think the change is a good thing. Launch year was amazing and not much since. How long do we have to wait for a full fledged Legend of Zelda game? We're two months away from the year halfway done and no word of a sequel of Breath of the Wild or a New Switch Legend of Zelda game. I mean Links Awaking may be fun for a while. Cadence of Hyrule maybe too. Those games are short compared to Breath of the Wild. Is the Switch only going to have one full fledged Legend of Zelda game? Will a New Legend of Zelda ever come to the Switch? Links Awaking will be fun, but look at the graphics it could of came out on the 3DS. The Switch is about halfway through its life and one one full fledged Legend of Zelda game... The Wiiu had more.

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Be Concerned About Google's Play For Gamers?

Minish-Cap

I for one am intrigued. What if Google can provide classic games? They already have Sonic. What's stopping them from releasing games fans are desperate for, Banjo Kazooie games, proper Star Wars classics. If you ever downloaded a rom Google knows. What's stopping them from
releasing the top downloads and putting those on their console? What if Google get s proper sports games that Nintendo hasn't for 7 years? We probably could even check our email on this console.

Re: Capcom Celebrates 15th Anniversary Of Monster Hunter With Epic Video Feature

Minish-Cap

To bad Monster Hunter World hasn't come to Switch... Monster Hunter World was my first game in the series. Generations for the Switch fully felt like a few steps backwards. Still Generations is fun, but felt like the 3DS/WiiU version. Did Capcom do anything to the game, or did they just port it to the Switch? Loading Screens are so annoying. I enjoyed Generations, I felt it was like going from World to Generation, it was like going from Ocarina of Time 3DS to the N64 version.

Re: Kid Icarus And StarTropics Join The Switch Online NES Library This Month

Minish-Cap

@diablo2 Well said. Did you think of that or find that information? Anyway, I own a PS4, besides my Switch. I am a sports fan, Madden is my favorite. I did buy RBI 19 on the Switch and I am happy enough with that(in terms of sports). The Show hasn't changed much over the years. The games take 45 min's to play(twice as long as Madden, NBA 2K, and RBI. I am torn, I enjoy some RPG's. The RPG's on the PS4 are better quality and cheaper. Final Fantasy X, X-2 is 17 for the PS4, the Switch is 49.99, Final Fantasy 12 is 24 for the PS4, again for the Switch 49.99. Final Fantasy VII is also cheaper on the PS4 also. I don't get why we have to pay more for fewer graphics. The Vita version of Final Fantasy X and X-2 is 27 dollars. I imagine the graphics on the Switch will be more similar to the Vita's graphics than the PS4. If the Switch is a family system, why are ports more expensive?

Re: Kid Icarus And StarTropics Join The Switch Online NES Library This Month

Minish-Cap

@diablo2
I think if they want to put something cost-effective, why not Gameboy games, or Gameboy Color games? I sure hope they don't continue their Switch online service once the Switch is gone. Nintendo used to be revolutionary. They used to be the best company, always the top console makers, what happened? Now, they have the worst graphics compared to other consoles, their online has been the worst compared to other consoles since the WIi. I am just disappointed. I always have had Nintendo, but starting at the Wii U stage Nintendo has been lacking. I loved the Wii, mostly because of the motion sensitivity and the virtual console. The Wii U area I mostly had a PS3/4. I just am disappointed, there's a lack of new games for the Switch and Nintendo thinks we will want to play NES games till the holiday season. I mean Yoshi might be a fun game but it wouldn't make a person want a Switch to play Yoshi's Crafted World. It's more of a complementary game. I can't be the only who feels like this?
