At this rate by the end of the Switches life, we will N64 games. Isn't the life of a console normally atleast 5 years? So, when the Switches golden years are gone, good games for the online membership. The Final Fantasy NES games would be fun. Otherwise, Kirby's Adventure. Those are the only NES games I would be interested in. I am aware Kirby came out. The SNES games to me are more desirable, unless Final Fantasy NES game arrive.

@Gravitron When the 3ds is out of circulation is when the Switch will be on there. Discounts are cool, even if they aren't much. I had a 15 dollar discount for Pokemon Let's Go.

I plan to pick the fire bunny, that is unless it evolves into a weird type. My guess is it will evolve into a fighting or normal type.

To bad the themes aren't for Switch...

Nintendogs was a blast. I hope this will be too. I don't know about having to use the touch screen. I don't have a screen protector. My nieces will love this game too. Anyway, Labrador for me! I have two at home and they are the perfect reason to keep me active(they love to play).

The world reminded me of Kalos. Anyway the game looks fun. I noticed random encounters are back? It would be amazing if more main Pokemon games came out this year.

I don't know if you need that much space. This isn't a PS4 or Xbox. The games don't take up as much space as they do on other consoles. The main reason is the graphics aren't as good on the Switch compared to other consoles. I would compare the Switches graphics to the PS3. Look at the big difference between sports games on the Switch, PS4, and Xbox. I have the 128 GB memory card and it's not even half way used up.

Since he used to work with EA, will their be better relationships between Nintendo and EA?

@jobvd I disagree. FF15 I didn't like either. I did like the 13's, 12, 10, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. I didn't like the battle style of Octopath. I guess besides FF and Kingdom Hearts, to me anything Square makes RPG wise wasn't as interesting to me.

Octopath has made me afraid of any Square Enix not named Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy. Octopath was so slow... It played more like Dissidia than Final Fantasy. Battles that take more than a min to beat are the reason games have a higher battle speed mode. Still, I am intrigued by this game. I wonder what the battle style will be like.

Didn't Octopath run on that engine? Anyways I don't care about Kingdom Hearts on the Switch. I played all of them a lot on the PS3 and then PS4. I did beat and unlock the secret ending for 3 and was fully disappointed. The visuals didn't seem to match. After playing KH 1 and 2 and knowing what the enemies looked like, it seemed like they all where touched up on an a computer editing device. They were shiny. I personally would rather have more Final Fantasy remakes. I can't be the only one who wants a Final Fantasy 13, 13 2 and Lightning Returns remake. Or just a port to the Switch.

Why is there such little love for Final Fantasy 9?

I always thought Harvest Moon was better. I will get it though. I actually never played Rune Factory. I am excited to see what it's like.

I always wanted to play unravel. I think it was available to download on the Vita or PS4 or 3. I forgot which. I really hope EA puts Madden on the Switch this year. Or someone makes an alternative option. 2k used to make a football game and it was more advanced than Madden. Madden didn't have the feature 2k did for years. I wonder why 2k stopped making football?

I beat the 3DS version when it came out. This looks great. I am content. There still will be great games that weren't even talked about. I can't be the only one that already bought FF9.

Wouldn't doubt it if they never put anything besides NES games on Switch Eshop. All of my adoration for the Switch is fading quickly. The Switch had a great start. After the great start they laid an egg. Smash was the only game that was good last year. Pokemon Let's Go seemed more like a Pokemon Go game than a Pokemon Nintendo game. Nintendo thinks we are happy to only get Indies. There's obviously a reason major companies aren't putting their games in the Switch.

Something first party we don't have to wait 8 months for.

Improving yearly? And what do we do in the meantime? Nintendo I am getting fed up. The Switch had a great start and then fell off year two. Are we really supposed to sit around keep playing Breath of the Wild or Mario Oddessy for 3 years? How many times do we replay Monster Hunter Generations? Monster Hunter was ported from Wii U and 3DS. Generations pales in comparison to World. How is Generations Ultimate newer? Can't Nintendo think of new ideas anymore? A system should have new top games frequently. It's feeling like WiiU all over again. Maybe, the Switch came out to soon. If it did not come out to soon where are all the first party games? Nintendo your just living on hope.

They didn't meet their goal because it has been since 2017 since Breath of the Wild was new. The same goes for Mario Oddessy, Kart and Splatoon. Last year Smash was the only game that was first party that was good. It's hard to wait 6 months for another good game. The Switch is becoming a party and second console only. All these ports don't match up to ones that have been on the PS4 for years. They normally are cheaper on the PS4 too.
I can't be the only who is sick of games that look like SNES or Google play games. That could explain Nintendo not meeting its goal.

I know good games are coming. It's just it's starting become like the Wii U. Last year only 2 good games came out(smash and a pokemon let's go). I am getting frustrated for how long it's taking Nintendo. You can only replay breath of the wild so many times. I just feel like all the games are going to come out next year or the holiday season. What are we supposed to do just play indies for 6 months?

Am I they only one who is wondering where the First party games are? The Switch in year one was amazing. It fell off a cliff after that. It's been 2 years since a real Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, and Splatoon. Where's all the games that aren't indies? Has Nintendo lost their curiosity?

Hopefully the game is a real Pokemon game. Not something like Pokemon Shuffle or Quest.

Could this mean SNES games?

I am an avid football fan and I always was sad the only football on the Switch was Soccer. This looks like Football and Bomberman combined. Hopefully, there will be more Football games on the Switch soon(Madden 20 or even a Mario Football game). At least the Switch has Basketball and Baseball. That's more then than on the WiiU a Madden game, a Basketball game and that only happened once. Those game froze at the wrong times and became unplayable.

I for one am excited. I found X and X2 more fun when it was portable(vita). I wonder how Zodiac Age will be in handheld mode? Any chance FF 13 comes to the Switch?

I like many others wish it were on the Switch. To bad they don't just port the 3ds and or Wii U Eshop to the Switch Eshop.

Am I the only one who thinks Nintendo Smartphone games aren't that good? If they focus on Smartphones only then the quality of games will drop. Smartphones and memory cards can hold only so much. How many gigabytes will Pokemon and Legend of Zelda be? Nintendo appears to be money hungry. Most Smartphone games succeed by paying for extras. Pokemon Go is the best example of a money eating game. How often do we run out of Pokeballs and have to pay for more? Right now the PS5 sounds pretty good.

Gyarados looks like a giant sea worm... They should utilize that in the next Pokemon game.

Next year will be even better with a new core Pokemon game, Metroid, remakes of Final Fantasy and more yet to be announced! What's the possibility a new Monster Hunter gets announced or a new or remake of a Legend of Zelda? Maybe even Super Nintendo games instead of Nintendo games for the online service.

Final Fantasy for NES? There are a few on the NES. How about Legend of Zelda II? Metroid will be fun.

If this was made for the Switch; you would be able to stream Madden PC on the Switch.

This may age me but I was 7 when I first played it. In comparison to Red and Blue, I thought this was tough. Tough; I was 7 years old when my brother and his friend and I had a competition who could beat the game first. My brothers' friends' family was from Japan which meant he had Pokemon Green. I was lucky enough to get drawn that game. We switched games. I won.

I wonder how this new catching will be like. If it's like Pokemon Go it will be cumbersome which could ruin the game for me and others.

I feel the same way. As a sport fan it's hard to own a Nintendo system. I wish Nintendo was making real sports games again. Maybe, RBI will be good. Last year's version seemed too vanilla.

Probably the Mini Switch; currently the Switch could be to big to hold for some kids.

It would be really awesome if Madden, Hockey, and if EA made a Baseball game . We only have RBI... It's been 7 years since EA put Madden on a Nintendo console....
