I think all the newcomers are pretty terrible this installment, however Squad Strike and Smashdown are gonna be really hype and modes I'll likely use a lot while playing with my siblings.

2015 might have been a tough year for nintendo, but somehow the nintendolife content was way better back then. I've had to switch to mynintendonews again this year with how many nintendo news nintendolife is missing out on reporting lately

About a year ago Nintendo asked me to do like a 30 minute survey about the Switch and I complained about the eshop a lot in it. Glad change is finally coming.

I used it until they changed the structure of getting answers and just made the whole thing into one big social media feed, that ruined miitomo imo. Instead of learning things about all my friends I would now only see the 3 narcisstic friends who answered 5 questions about themselves daily.

@kupocake the current browser is so minimalistic it can't download things or do other basic browser stuff like running code, that functionality is what's needed for hackers

internet browser won't happen because that's how hackers get in the system

It just means some big name third party titles are coming to Switch, potentially ports of existing games. I wouldn't get too excited for now.

Limiting salmon run is obviously to keep the player amount up, I'm already struggling to find others in that mode as it is. Had it been available all of the time the few players I can find probably wouldn't be playing, nor would I.

@Joeynator3000 what are you talking about, they added loads of new pokestops to my city a few months ago with the gym overhaul (despite there being a lot already, you can never have enough I suppose!)

Considering the next main pokemon game after USUM will be on the Switch, I really doubt there's gonna be a 3ds successor

Dual items was already a mistake, now they've gone and made the game even more akin to mario kart wii. I can't believe they somehow managed to make a deluxe version worse than its original.

I don't think Reggie would be the one in charge of the esports division of Nintendo so he seems like the wrong person to ask. It's clear the developers of the games have had esports in mind to some extent considering the dynamic camera they added to Splatoon 2 and ARMS which allows streamed matches to be viewed from multiple angles, no game before has had this. I'm sure if you asked someone like Bill Trinen about this you'd get a much better answer.

@KJ85 they should ship some of those to the Netherlands, we always have stock issues on pretty much everything nintendo related

@LinkSword clearly the lords have their favour at the moment though, most of which use swords.

@darkswabber "they all play completely differently" that's just not true, a lot of these characters have the same basic set-up you couldn't tell apart if the moves were hacked onto a blank character.
