I didn’t… nothing against two undoubtedly masterpieces. It’s the Nintendo modus operandi which makes me upset; there’s no reason not to give the 3D All-Stars owners a free upgrade for the first Galaxy game
I may pick the new version of Galaxy 2 later… but I’ll probably won’t 😅

@Medic_alert I can confirm it does work properly as it did in 2002, with half press and full press (I’m using the official GameCube gamepad for Switch 2, the new one)

well, I won't stop considering it a masterpiece and enjoying every minute I spend in game. People get upset for the most insignificant things nowadays... and basically everything responds to a sort of "flock logic"

I tell you this: relax and see all that the game as to offer, in order, from the first to the last cup.
Then go back and get the 3 stars gold cup where you’ve missed it; it’s not going anywhere, right there waiting for you.
That’s also replay value.

those games had fantastic soundtracks

to be honest I prefer the GameCube graphics in HD rather than the Wii U version which looks a little "washed out" to me... but the lack of 16:9 screen ratio is really annoying

It’s kinda funny that so many people complain about the game being 8 months old; 8 months is not even one year, and it’s still an awesome game, and honestly I don’t get why it had that price drop on other consoles.

To me it’s just impressive. Let’s also consider we’ve been playing 30fps shooters on console until yesterday, literally (Destiny 2)

You know... after all these years, I think it would be great for Nintendo to start thinking about the next-next-gen, and surprise us all with a beastly console in the future

Extremely good, extremely beautiful... but we're still far from the original equipment that came with the cartridge. I'm afraid that going through the game with this book would feel again like being guided.
Back in the day all you had was a map which was not complete, because you were supposed to explore the world and draw yourself the squares that were left blank; on the back side of the overworld map sheet you only had the maps of the first three dungeons, and then it was up to you. The awesome part is that beating the game WAS possible, though you needed something often missing from modern gaming mentality: months, patience.

Stability is everything but please... give us that Spotify app!

Buy it if you haven't played it yet. The game is though as hell, punishing and frustrating at medium-high difficulty... but the satisfaction is worth it. Played on XBOX ONE X, but I may consider a second purchase on SWITCH just to enjoy some good stealth action on the go.

I have an XBOX ONE and I use to play a lot of Destiny (which is not even a first party title...) with my friends but... you know, when I turn on the Wii U to play some Super Mario Maker or Yoshi's Woolly World somethings magic happens, and I feel happy.
I bought the XBOX ONE only to play DooM (a masterpiece), but I have played a lot of first party titles like Halo 5, Gears of War 4, Forza Motorsport 6; these are all great games, but I think they don't add so much to what we got used to in the last ten years (at least).
Some may say even Mario Kart 8 or Super Mario 3D World are nothing new, but I can clearly see the difference with other titles of the same series, compared to Gears of War.
I don't know... we should sit here for a long debate.

I still enjoy this "Big DS", creating levels on Super Mario Maker or re-exploring the indie and retro catalogue on the e-Shop. I think it is a superb platform, and the world is full of people who don't understand. I use to play a lot of shooters on XBOX ONE, like Gears of War 4 or Destiny, but when I turn the Wii U on... my heart begins to beat again.

I own the game on Wii U, I don't think I'm gonna try it on the XBOX ONE. I gave up on it because the high tense ended up to stress me instead of entertaining!
Cool game anyway.

To me one of the biggest lacks of most recent entries in the Yoshi series is music! The catchy music of Yoshi's Island strongly contributed to do that magic we all miss.

The 3DS family is a money machine an they can do whatever they want with the Wii U, even delay a much anticipated and awaited Zelda title

I have big respect of Ocarina of Time... but my all time favorite is the masterpiece "A Link to the Past". I wouldn't be surprised if it was at first place.
