@MajorTom Possibilities are endless, which is why I say other than the mass Nintendo Defense Force salt, there is absolutely no basis for any assumption of deals.
It's more likely that Capcom looked at Xbox numbers in Japan and just didn't bother.
@faint I was expecting this. I said most, not all. Obviously you were gonna go for those 2 and not the dozen or so that I was referring to and was correct about.
Especially given the sales numbers of those 2 games you listed vs other platforms.
@Zolda No, I didn't. I never mentioned downloading in my original comment. I edited in an extra piece in my 2nd comment that actually agreed with part of what you said. I never said downloading, I said you're legally allowed to create your own backup. You automatically assumed that I was saying "I own it, so I can download it" when I clearly said create my own backup.
@Zolda Where did I say download? I said it's legal to create your own backup, because it is. Downloading a ROM from the internet falls into the "sharing and distributing" side of it and is therefore illegal. No need to fact check being right.
@marnelljm @holygeez03 Everdrives and the like do not automatically mean piracy. Any game you purchase, you are legally allowed to make a backup of. You are not allowed distribute, share or sell said backup. You are allowed play your legally made backup by whatever means as you still retain the licence.
Just because people may use some of these things for piracy doesn't mean that is automatic. Or would you rather ban the Switch too, because that can also be hacked and modified to play emulators and pirated games?
@westman98 Of course it wouldn't cost more to use a cheaper card. However Capcom didn't have a choice when it came to Revelations. They have the option to use the smallest card for MMLC1 and make a larger profit margin with this.
This is actually Nintendo fault, not Capcom. They enforced a format with lower production quantities and higher costs and are passing all of that onto 3rd parties.
@roadrunner343 I remember being unsure of it at first, but then when I noticed the author/creator, I gave it a go to see if it was gonna be FPGA supporting the ROMs, which it turned out not to be so I went back to 4.1. I'm a physical media guy so I wanted to see if they finally managed to beat the Super FX chips for emulation properly
@GumbyX84 Doing a playthrough next week of my SD3 EN patched repro cart from my Super NT next week, can't wait. It'll be on youtube so keep an eye out for it starting next week, not gonna share channel details publically~
@roadrunner343 Super FX carts work perfectly fine on normal firmware. I've heard reports that Super FX carts don't work on jailbroken firmware (didn't test this myself). Super FX ROMs don't seem to work properly on jailbroken firmware (confirmed myself)
So funny to see Nintendo fanboys (not fans, those are fine) with bruised egos. "Sony paid to keep it off Switch" lol. Not the 74mil unit install base (and that doesn't count 35mil Xbox owners or hundreds of millions of PC users) with significantly higher power than Switch let alone 3DS.
Has the best version of Hyrule compared to any Zelda game. Truly a crying shame that Nintendo have skimped on hardware, Zelda fans are missing out on such potentially amazing Zelda experiences.
PSP arguably did more for Monster Hunter than the 3DS did. With how much they achieved with MHW because of not being constrained by the hardware of 3ds or Switch and the reception the game has got because of it, they won't be going back. Will be surprised if we ever see a new Monster Hunter title on Switch/3DS

Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@MajorTom I know it's only on PS4 (for now) in Japan but I disagree with your reasoning though, it is still a multiplatform title.
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@MajorTom It's a multiplat, so no. Can't wait for the PC version myself.
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@Abes3 Or! My phone internet was being stupid and not posting it correctly
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@Abes3 It's one of the ones that has MHW on it
Edit: yay for comment posting itself 4 times?
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@Abes3 It's not only on PS4...
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@SLIGEACH_EIRE "strong possibility" based on absolutely nothing but fanboy butthurt.
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
@Abes3 Did you forget that it started on PS2 and had more success on PSP and now PS4 than any Nintendo platform?
Fanboys comments are bad and you should feel bad
Re: The Studio That Ported Skyrim To Switch Wants To Tackle Monster Hunter World Next
"The studio has talent for ports"
When porting an old, low spec game engine like Skyrim is your ONLY good port in a long list of terrible ports, no, they don't have talent.

Re: Sumo Digital Responsible For Porting PAYDAY 2 To Switch
Virtuous are actually a Chinese studio. They just have an office in Tokyo (as well as many other places)
Some top quality Nintendo Life reporting as usual.

You can hold that nintendo L ife though
Re: Panic Button Hints That More Nintendo Switch Ports Are In The Pipeline
"More success on Switch than what we worked on for PS4/Xbox One"
Clever choice of words, because what you worked on for those consoles was mostly garbage.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May
@westman98 Capcom are not obligated to give you what you want. They're a profit driven business.
Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May
@roadrunner343 The smallest Switch card is 1gb and both collections add to about 5.5gb. The premium on 8gb cards over 4gb must not be worth it.
Cards coming in at 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32gb (excluding the delayed 64gb). With devs reporting price increases as you go up for every capacity.
Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

@PartlyAwesome Well it's confirmed already that Super FX games don't work.
Source - I tried it myself 2 days ago when it was released, also reported by many other users.
You can always just overwrite the jailbreak with the official firmware again to play an actual Super FX cart anyways
