Re: Nintendo Is Open To Dropping The 'Direct' Approach At Future E3 Events

As long as they improve their presentations. You don't show up to E3 with a 25 minute presentation on smash and nothing else important for the other 20 minutes. Nintendo were afraid to have conferences during the wiiu era where they were a joke with nothing to show. Now they at least have sales numbers a a fraction more to show, so maybe they can return if they do it right.

@Silly_G It's something called choice. Increasing the price of a game and getting nothing extra for it over the same product at the original price is also not consumer friendly.

All because you want Nintendo's bad physical media policy to not effect you.

The sheer notion of basically berating consumers for not wanting to pay more is the top tier of pro-corporation, anti-consumer practices.

Sounds like you picture the wrong platform to support.

Or the perfect one for your pro-corporate defense.

@Silly_G " but the general public's reluctance to pay an extra $10 for something substantially better is baffling.

It is absolutely ridiculous to me that the market is unwilling to pay an extra $10 for a AAA release while forking over $50-$100 for limited editions that contain a bunch of stupid trinkets."

How very pro-corporation of you.

Re: Video: Here's How Fortnite On Switch Compares To The PS4 Version

Menchi187

In terms of frame rate, the game aims to hit 30 FPS. However, we can see that there are some dips and fluctuations – some more noticeable than others.

Fortnite uses a dynamic resolution when docked and in portable modes. When docked, the lowest native resolution found is approximately 1093×615 while the highest was 1600×900. Additionally, temporal upsampling is used to increase the pixel count up to 1600×900 when the native resolution is below this figure.

The lowest resolution in portable mode was found to be roughly 768×432. As for the highest, VG Tech found 1280×720 (Switch’s natural portable resolution). Temporal upsampling is again used here to increase the pixel count up to 720p when the native resolution drops below this.

omg LOL

@Ubik You have a very interesting way of "confirming" a game.

@Whalehome PSVR isn't getting Fallout 4 VR, only PC has it with HTC Vive.

@JaxonH It was never xbox exclusive. It was on mobile and PC for ages before Xbox got it.

@Romeo-75 It's "coming to ps4 and switch" because it's been out on mobile, PC and Xbox for years already.

@BanjoPickles PSVR does not have Fallout 4. Only PC with HTC Vive does.

@WhiteTrashGuy It's running on Avalanche's Apex engine (the just cause engine)
