Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collections On Switch Debut At Number Nine In Japan

@chardir One thing I've noticed is that only Nintendo fans are obsessed with twisting the numbers to look good out of reality.

Back when Smash released on the WiiU and sales of the console went up by 400% over the previous week. But you look at the previous week and it was 1250 units.....up to 5000..... "whoa". But all we had was "400% THOUGH!!!!!"

Same with their weird obsession with Japanese sales. Monster Hunter world "didn't sell well in Japan" and they ignore that it sold so much elsewhere that it became Capcom's best selling game of all time in 2 months. "But it didn't sell well in Japan!".

And God Of War. 3 million units in 3 days and 5 million in a month. "OUTSOLD BY LABO IN JAPAN ON WEEK ONE!!!"

Pretty sure companies care about money more than anything, but "muh numbers!!"

Well given that it (supposedly) isn't a single player RPG, Switch might actually have a chance at getting it, unlike Fallout 4. Dom seems to have no idea how game engines work if his logic is "a company brings certain games to the platform, so why not all games".

It's supposedly a very different game, management style almost with online multiplayer elements. So you might have a chance, unlike Fallout 4.

@gortsi No, not like those at all. There are only 2 games that don't contain the entire base game on those consoles.

Meaning 20 years from now when the PS4 and Xbox One servers are turned off you can still put those games in and play the entire base game. Unlike the Switch games I mentioned.

Enjoy enlightenment.

@Rayquaza2510 I still disagree that it's the same issue of "not enough internal storage". All the internal storage in the world isn't going to help you if you only have half the game on the Game Card and have no way to get the rest. If all of the game was on the Game Card, you could get away with 1gb storage only for save files.

Nintendo created the problem with publishers and the inability to create a media system fitting of the games in the era they are releasing in, imo.
