@westman98 I'm not sure. Many of the 3DS crowd may have (stressing MAY) have bought the Switch version (again, if there was crossover) instead of the 3DS version. It has the portable side and home console side covered so I think it'd drop the 3DS a bit but not have enough dedicated Switch only sales, leaving the PS4 ahead.

@triforcehero I factored that in, it just felt like so much nothing. "It still exists" is basically nothing. I wasn't implying it was cancelled, just no real news. Especially with the announcement of localization, which also didn't include platforms.

But Dragon Quest XI ON Nintendo Switch still has gone dark.

Had it released at the same time as other platforms, I'd guess it'd go PS4 > Switch > 3DS in sales.

@Fandabidozi Can't you only see how many people are lined up to battle AFTER using a raid pass though? I don't spend money on the game so don't wanna waste it. As it stands atm, raid passes at least get me decent stage 2 start pokemon candy/xp/rare candy.

@electrolite77 Np, subtly can be awkward on the internet. They're definitely real though, no doubt. While I'd have liked VC from day one, the most infuriating thing about it is that we have zero info, you could almost said negative info because so far it looks like they could be replacing the service with that whole "online subscription monthly game" thing, which is BAD. They're just so tight lipped about something they basically pioneered and everyone wants.

@Spoony_Tech I was at Dublin Comiccon over the weekend with a friend, there was a gym on the convention center. A zapdos spawned there and it was taken down. Conversely, in my town we frequently had Lugia and the birds, but never saw a single battle going

@electrolite77 I'm far from a Nintendo Zealot. I came into Switch knowing it wasn't for 3rd party games, sadly. I have other consoles and PC and prefer physical games, the Switch eshop has almost nothing to offer me except VC and very few select exceptions

Only thing I care about is the Virtual Console.

Reading this screams "the Switch struggles to keep the gameplay experience the same" which can only be due to hardware.

PS Vita 1000 has a much better screen. Shame about the resolution, but that might worked in Nintendo's favour I guess as it is with their underpowered X1. OLED > cheap plastic lcd

@NEStalgia @Ryu_Niiyama I got mine from Play Asia, I got the very last they had in the initial preorders Here in Europe, Amazon still has them in stock but they were only added recently compared to months ago of play asia.

@kobashi100 There have been several portable Nintendo releases. DS and even recently in the last few years and even last year we had another 3DS release.

@Flanktwo Nah I live off down in kildare so we're pretty barren on pokemon. I'm lucky to see 1 uncommon a week, and that's with at least an hour a day in the busy part of my town.

Living in Ireland, I'm lucky if I'll ever even get a rare pokemon as it is......

@faint I agree, with the releases on DS and 3DS so far, I'd say PS4 and 3DS versions are a safe bet. Switch version though is up in the air at this point.

@LuckyPower The controllers on xbox and ps4 do have headphone jacks and guess what, you plug in a headset to them and it works automatically for chat!

Cue someone mentioning that the very first generation of controllers, which lasted about 6 months for xbox had no jack. They all do for over 3 years now.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Skyrim is likely going to be a gimped port. Can't even say if it's the standard remaster so likely not. And no mod support, which all 3 other platforms have.
