@faint I provided mine, which correct reinforced what I said, which can't be said about your incorrect statement and lack of proof since it doesn't exist. Which is clear since you are dodging your inability to provide it, since it doesn't exist.

Now, I'll go play some real games because I can and I'll bother replying again when you can prove me wrong with them.

Spoiler alert: You can't.

@faint They can just take the Switch approach and cut it down. to 240p, create even smaller textures, remove all sorts of settings, etc to make it run on there. I mean Doom is unacceptably low, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 runs in sub standard definition sometimes and still barely breaks 20fps in the secondary handheld mode. There is clearly no "floor" to where they can cut down to so they have no excuse to not put whatever they want on whatever they want if it's not a power thing.

There is a reason everything is announced for everything bar Switch. End of story.

@electrolite77 Can you provide an updated statement from the console manufacturer that explicitly says it is a handheld device and NOT a home console? I provided one for my side.

@subpopz and yet it's still the current statement to this day that hasn't been rectified. (btw it's also still called the latest home console on Nintendo's website last I checked earlier this year).

@faint It's marketed and defined by Nintendo as a home console first with hybrid features second. It will be judged as such.

@MrBlacky You were doing so well until you pulled the "hating on what we don't have" card. Oh and notice most are first party or funded by Nintendo. You know what else have strong first party support and lackluster 3rd party support? The sega saturn, the sega dreamcast, the wiiu.

Hell the xbox one is dying in sales and performance, but it still gets the vast majority of those big 3rd party games that every other platform except Switch gets.
