Have the Fates CE and the N3DS XL Fates Limited Edition (3DS is unused lawl). Games was a bit underwhelming, won't bother buying it again if it's legit.

@Kirgo My point is no dev worth their salt is going to gimp a fast paced fps with vital touchscreen controls or restrict it to the less powerful handheld mode of an underpowered console as it is. The fact Nintendo even allowed that other JP game to be undocked only is shocking.

@Kalmaro There are no facts against my argument. What you said makes no sense. Splatoon 1 is a Nintendo hugbox, it is entirely disregarded in the real world of gaming. @OorWullie Not really, because you can use the ps4 touchpad at all times. Dock the Switch and you suddenly lose the ability to play your game because RIP a bunch of extra "controls"

And remember, this is a hybrid console, not one or the other.

Besides, anyone who wants to play an fps, let alone a fast paced online multiplayer fps with touch controls should have their ability to game taken away from them.

@NaviAndMii They both work on Windows 7. I used both the original GCHD and GCHD60 on Windows 7 for years before moving over to W10 this year. They probably just updated the "current" product info to the current OS.

@NaviAndMii System requirements are on the Elgato product page, if you have an average PC from the last 4 years it should be fine for the most part.

Competitive Smash is a joke. It's ok to watch to the masses because it's flashy but there are very few fighting games that are mechanically sound and all versions of Smash don't apply. SF5 also doesn't but it's "the current Capcom SF title" so it has to be included.

Ever since the simplification of many fighting games during the 7th generation, there is a reason why only (I believe 2?) are considered truly mechanically sound for the competitive level.

That and competitive fighting game "pros" are some of the biggest, saltiest babies on the planet.

I got a HD60 ages ago and it's fantastic. For both capture and streaming. It's really easy to use even for a beginner (granted I'm not a beginner but you can see how easy it is). I do keep my old Game Capture HD for non-HDMI stuff too. Same software and all.

I love how everyone idolizes Iwata as well just because he's dead now. Sure, he did SOME things right (mainly in his younger days and as reactionary things to HIS mistakes), but he was also the biggest detriment to Nintendo's gaming business in the past 40 years.

@AyanamiReign They probably don't have servers at all. Every game so far, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, uses peer to peer.

@eltomo Only in the 2nd half of the lifespan of the console. It took 2-3 years to get going anywhere and that's when it picked up steam but didn't maintain it forever. I do miss the VC so much though. We need it done right. Huge amount of titles at launch, from all platforms, 1st and 3rd party developed. Then not drip fed one no name title a week.

Good thing they use so basic art styles that lend themselves to such small and low quality textures since Nintendo decided 32gb was a good idea in 2017.

@NEStalgia The whole NES sales thing is always slightly skewed in its favour. I don't deny that it had the massive sales (especially in the US, where over half the total units sold went). In the US, the NES had to counteract the video game crash (which didn't happen in Japan or here in Europe), so it didn't really have any true competition. Granted there was the Master System but with the NES having the lead and Nintendo's (later ruled) illegal monopolistic policies, it's not exactly a 1:1 comparison between the climate of the 8 bit eras vs 16 bit era.
