The Pokémon Company International has announced that Xerneas and Yveltal will be the next legendary Pokémon to feature in the yearlong celebration of the series' mythical creatures. The best part of all this? You can grab both 'mon for your game files in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, or Ultra Moon.
First appearing in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, these legendary creatures are well worth adding to your collection. To get your hands on the mythical duo, check out the details below:
UK: Available from GAME stores from 4th May - 26th May
Ireland: Available from GameStop stores from 4th May - 26th May
US: Available from GameStop stores from 4th May - 27th May
Canada: Available from EB Games stores from 4th May - 27th May
It is worth noting that owners of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun will receive Yveltal, while owners of Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon will receive Xerneas. These creatures aren't available in these versions naturally - with Xerneas only available in Ultra Sun and Yveltal only available in Ultra Moon - so this is a great chance to get them if you don't want to trade with others.
It has also been confirmed that the next distribution in June will be for Zygarde. More details on that will follow in time.
Will you be adding these impressive monsters to your team?

Okay, how do i get them from my 3DS while connected with internet ?
I still newbie in this case.
@Anti-Matter : Mystery Gift. Then you choose to receive a gift from the internet if there is an active Wi-Fi event, or gift from code if you have received a code, which is usually distributed at a store, being the ones listed above.
@sillygostly
Thanks.
I will try later.
So we’re gonna need 2 codes, good to know.
Thankfully my local EB Games are generous.
Or 4 codes if you have Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. The employees at my Gamestop have never been stingy.
Just regular Xerneas and Yveltal? No special moves, not shiny or anything?
I mean, freebies and all that, but Pokemon events used to be special. Mythical Pokemon unobtainable through normal means(like Mew or Celebi), or having moves they normally don't learn(like Draco Meteor Jirachi), or shiny legendaries which are even rarer than regular shinys or even previous unobtainable because they were shiny locked(like the shiny beasts in HG/SS or shiny Tapu Koko more recently in S/M).
I guess it is good for people who skipped XY.
Is Zygarde going to be a USUM distribution only, since Zygarde was a collectathon sidequest in SM? (instead of getting the Z version we expected Game Freak to make )
I'm beginning to truly dislike the serial code distributions. Not only are there limited quantities (not a big deal most of the time, but the risk of running out is still there), but not all of us are near some of these stores. Gamestop isn't bad, but I missed the last distribution since I couldn't justify driving over an hour just to go to the nearest Target.

@Tyranexx I honestly dislike the entire concept, especially considering the collectathon nature of the games. It really makes me want to play the games less, honestly, since I usually only play Pokemon when I'm in the mood, and temporarily accessible events aren't going to dictate that. I have the same problem with Overwatch, too, since again, it's just letting me know that I'm gonna miss out on all of this cool stuff just because I either have a life, or have other games that I also want to play...
@CanisWolfred: It's getting to where events don't really feel special anymore; they literally just dump the Pokemon on you in any Pokemon Center, no strings attached. Maybe I'm old-school in my thinking, but I missed the story-driven events that they would unlock. The Celebi event in HG/SS and the Darkrai event from D/P/Pt are among my favorites.
I already have these Pokémon in my bank, I even have their shiny forms that came from a distributed a few years ago. Thanks NL for keeping up with Pokémon distributions because I have missed out on some before.
Dear GameFreak: no one wants to go to a stupid store to get pokemon. The internet and mystery gift exist for a reason.
