The collaboration between Fortnite and Star Wars continues. Following on from the addition of the stormtrooper outfit in November, Epic Games is now adding three more Star Wars skins to the game, this time based on the upcoming movie release, The Rise of Skywalker.
These three outfits are based on Rey, Finn and the new Sith Trooper. All of these are available from the in-game item shop.
On 14th December, a scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will also premiere via an in-game Fortnite event. This exclusive scene will be shown at Risky Reels and features an appearance from the movie's director J.J. Abrams.
Update: At the 2019 Game Awards, it was also revealed players would get access to a free Whisper Glider if they attend the event on the 14th December. Take a look below:

Oh boy, the skins literally nobody wanted. You could replace all 3 with the Mandalorian with Baby Yoda on his back and maybe I'd consider forking over real money.
Waste of a news post, my poor RSS feed.
@patbacknitro18
I guess that’s what happens when you give people a reason to like a character, who gives a about the new gimmick stormtrooper that will do nothing just like all the other ones Disney churns our for these movies?
Daaaang so much hate here, lol. I actually really like these, but wanting all of them just makes me realize how expensive the microtransactions can be!
@patbacknitro18 I actually like Finn, too bad he keeps getting pushed aside for our Mary Sue Queen.
No one wants those characters. Even I know that and I'm not even a Star Wars fan.
Rey looks like a Generic Girl.
Wow it's really cool to ripp on star wars and disney these days ain't it? So much hate. As palpatine would say...(Yes! use your agressive feelings! Let the hate flow through you!)
I'm about to blow your minds! I'm a fan of star wars going way back to the originals and i like all the movies! Oh yeah and I'm over 40. Wrap your minds around that! I guess some fans are casual or OG trilogy only and then there's me.
Fortnite can go fly a kite though! Talk about Lame!
@TobiasAmaranth just because you dont like fortnite, this does not automatically make every post about it useless
@Zeldafan79 Everybody has a different taste. I also am a star wars fan since I was a boy. Loved the prequels aswell. Don't mind the new movies but the last jedi is just an absolute trash. Dont mind fortnite tho.
OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY FARTNITE LIVESSSS!!!! FARRRRRRRRRRTNIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!!!!
@Vepra
You're darn right everybody has different taste. I loved the last Jedi!
All you people who hate on it just confuse the crap outta me. It had space battles, it had lightsabers, it had freaking Yoda for crying out loud and still fans are like Grrrr trash movie! Burn in hell Rian johnson! I swear you're all nuts!
You guys are just pissed you had to see luke as a grumpy old man. How dare they take my hero and turn him into a human being with regrets and flaws!
You wanna see a trash star wars movie? Go watch both Ewok films from the 80's. Now that was the low point of the franchise!
@Zeldafan79 Yes, I didnt like what Rian did with Luke, but that wasn't really why I disliked the movie. TLJ was a horrible movie in temrs of plot. Nothing really happend in the whole movie. It was bassicly two hours of people stucked on a ship, while Finn was running around with his new sidekick in a sidestory that was quite pointless, and then those on the ship just yeeted through another one that was standing infront of them the whole movie, thats literaly it. The whole movie was bassicly a 30min plot stretched into two hours. I heard someone say that TLJ could have been an ending scene of the force awakens and I think it is fitting. JJ Abrams had a difficult job doing The Force Awaknes but i was satisfied with it at the end. I thought he built a soild foundation for a new trilogy to be build upon. Then Rian Jhonson came, gave us a movie that could have been a 30 min episode in Rebels or some other show and now JJ Abrams has to end a trilogy that did not even had a proper second movie. He has to wrap things up after a movie and a half. And I am being generous with the "half".
@Zeldafan79 I've been with this franchise since about two weeks after the original movie released, and I like the new movies. They are dumb, flashy, adolescent fantasies in space with pew-pew lasers and silly laser swords, just like Star Wars has been from day one. Whiny teenagers, incompetent military commanders, utterly barmy old people making questionable choices, gaping plot holes, wildly uneven characterization, cutesy little alien critters made to sell toys. These are core elements of the franchise from its conception. I've never understood why Star Wars "fans" hate on the new movies so much. They are EXACTLY what Star Wars always has been.
@Vepra Nothing really happened in the whole movie. The Rebels built a new base and immediately had to evacuate it. Han and Leia go to hide with an old friend who immediately turns them in to Vader. Luke goes off on a mysterious side quest to spend four hours training with a silly old Muppet. Then he goes off to fight Vader, has a SHOCKING REVELATION, and immediately has his butt kicked. The End.
(Edited because I forgot when Yoda died.)
@JasmineDragon see? Quite a lot has happened As to opposed yeeting a ship for two hours
@Vepra If "yeeting a ship for two hours" is all you saw in TLJ, I'm pretty sure you actually fell asleep during the previews. Don't worry, it happens.
@JasmineDragon
Thank you! For once somebody agrees with me! It's so refreshing to hear a positive view on the sequel trilogy! I get so tired of seeing all the disney bashing and feminist agenda talk. Everything you said was on point and so very true!
Haters gonna hate i guess. Let them live in their little bubbles where only the original trilogy exists. I love all the movies!
I liked The Holiday Special more than The Last Jedi, and I say that with all sincerity. At least The Holiday Special got my family to smile! ... Not always the way the Special intended. Nonetheless...!
