I just realized that fire and ice weapons effect your body temperature. If you equip a meteor rod it makes your warmer, blizzard rod colder. Haven't seen anyone else mention this.

I have been most successful with the inkling boy, the sponge tires and the splatoon paint quad thing.

A top down retro style Zelda would be perfect on smartphones and tablets as long as it allows you to use a Bluetooth controller. My steelseries nimbus works great on the iPad Air 2. I played all 3 GTAs all the way through as well as Bully with that controller.

Hmmm, do I buy Minecraft again for the 5th time..... maybe. I do love playing in portable mode and then popping on the tv when I get home. Might be worth it.

@DickeyWord there is a method to it. It's easier to judge on 3 pointers, but release at the height of you jump. Same for layups but it happens faster.

@Anti-Matter It does not require internet connection to play. Just played an exhibition in airplane mode. Tried it on the tv and it does actually look better in docked mode.

Btw, this game is murdering my battery life. I have the switch on a stand plugged into my iMac which doesn't charge as fast as an outlet and it is still dying rapidly. I'm down to 60% after 5 games.

@Zingo I'll try it on the tv when I get home. Maybe better there. Odd that that would be a factor since the computing is done on the device.

@digitalmarco it still plays the same as Xbox one, just looks ugly, even in portable mode. Haven't tried it on the 55 inch yet, can't imaging that looks good.

Big fan of NBA jam, so I downloaded this immediately to the switch and my Xbox One. The game looks like fuzzy garbage on the switch. It's like they turned the resolution way down took out the shadows and made the background trees 2d and said have a nice day Switch owners. Unbelievable considering what MARIO kart and Breath of the wild look like on switch. If you have any interest in this game and own another console I suggest you purchase it there.

During the day I use it as a portable, then after work I dock it and pick up on the television where I left off or with some multiplayer with the family.

I like the white and orange one. Having purchased every iteration of the 3ds (excluding the original 2ds) I will pass this time. Still, a nice looking system, great for little ones.

And Mario Kart is out tomorrow. I see why they spaced the releases of major titles the way they did. It allows them time to replenish hardware to coincide with major software releases.

I would normally say this is definitely not coming to switch because it is extra work for activision, but infinite warfare didn't do so well so maybe?

I've been playing this since it came out. The artwork is beautiful and the realtime switching between retro and new art is super cool.

We are being flooded with neo-geo fighters for $7. It may be a tough sell at $40 by the time they finally release this.

Looks pretty cool. I still play NBA Jam on Xbox One with the backwards compability with a few of my friends. If this is anywhere near as fun I'll grab it day one for $20.

@WitherAway My thoughts exactly. If the manufacturing alone comes in at $30 below retail, then they are selling these at a loss.

Sad to hear the load times and frame rate have issues. I never got around to this on Wii U and thought it would be fun to pick up on switch. I could always scoop it up on PS4 or Xbox one if it's any better over there, but disappointing for the switch.

I have been having a lot of fun with this, but it is much more enjoyable with a friend.

I was able to jump in both testfires so far. The connection was flawless. Pro tip, I was able to join 5 minutes before the scheduled time and played a match beginning 5 minutes after the end time.

Not if it will delay the release. Honestly, I always buy little games like this digitally.

@Crono1973 Many people chose to skip the Wii U. So they aren't going to buy one now to play the last Wii U game to ever be made.

I am digging neo-turf masters right now. I have the switch on my desk with the stand out playing it with the left joy-con as it's own controller.

That the power of the switch "lies between the Wii U and Xbox one" should be obvious. It would be sad if it were less powerful than the system it replaced, and it's clearly not more powerful than the Xbox one which is currently running in second place for horse power if you don't count the PS4 pro separately from the PS4.

I'm cool with ditching the hat. So far my favorite outfit is the Hylan Armor died green.

@SandstormMcD I agree 100%. Breath of the Wild is the best game I have played in years and I play on PS, Xbox and Nintendo.

I don't see what the dismay about the LAN mode is. You can connect 8 consoles wirelessly, which is probably more than you normally have. And to have more than 8 people together all with their own televisions is probably less likely than the little LAN connector. That's a lot of TVs. I am definitely looking forward to MK8 deluxe, as is my daughter (it was her favorite game on Wii U ).

I picked up Waku Waku 7 and Metal Slug 3, absolutely love it. The animation is awesome. I wish they would include online multiplayer though.

So far mine have been fine; however, the official troubleshooting steps that Nintendo gave made me think this was hardware. All of their tips were ways to avoid interference, whereas that would not be effective for software troubleshooting/isolation.

I was concerned about this before launch. I'll hook mine up with the felt when it comes in. The original 3ds scratched the screen when closed and that was beyond annoying to me.

I will be purchasing this as soon as my Switch arrives. I was very excited when I heard it was coming for Switch as I like to play jrpgs on handhelds and I had gotten rid of my Vita.

I am in the U.S. and pre ordered from Walmart months ago. They were to ship FedEx and I even got tracking info saying it would be delivered last night no later than 8pm. Around 7 I called fed ex and they told me they hadn't yet received ownership of the package and there was no way it would be delivered that day despite their tracking on FedEx.com. Around 10pm I received an apology email from Walmart saying their was an issue with my shipment and that they would eventually get it to me. Now I have no idea when it will arrive. Walmart did say they would send me a $20 gift card as an apology so at least there is that...

Walmart jacked up my order. Won't have mine until next week at best. I am a sad panda.
