Re: Editorial: Merry Christmas And Happy Holidays From Nintendo Life

Merry Christmas nintendolife! My switch was the most used of my consoles this Christmas. I finally unlocked all the Smash characters so my nieces and nephews could play as their favorite characters. I also took it to my sisters house for her annual Christmas Eve party so we could play the newest jack box game with the adults. What a flexible little system it is.

Re: Rumour: DLC Fighter For Smash Bros. Ultimate Leaked On Japanese Textboard

I dig this, as I am a huge DQ fan back to the first game when I was like 9, but for the first two dlc characters to be from JRPGs seems a bit short sited. While Persona and especially DQ are Rockstars in Japan, most western gamers don’t share my love for the series. I think some mega man characters or More LOZ or even Skyrim or Doom or Diablo characters if you want to go 3rd party switch would be a little more universally accepted.

Re: Feature: What Do You Want From A New Nintendo Switch?

@jhewitt3476 I don’t personally care, however, Nintendo really really cares. They make a small amount on the hardware, but the bulk of their revenue comes from software sales. Also, they are pretty much against piracy. People play pirated games on the hacked Switch that they don’t pay for.

Re: Talking Point: Do We Still Need Review Scores?

I like the way Kotaku does it. They have a full-fledged well written review with no score; however, halfway through the review there is a short synopsis with a break down of likes and dislikes. This is the equivalent of a score as far as time needed to review it, but has context.

Re: Feature: Skin Deep With The Exciting World Of Nintendo Tattoos

I don’t have any Nintendo tattoos but I do have a Yoda tattoo a Marines tattoo and two others. To those who say “what will that look like when your 60” I say everything on you is going to look less appealing at 60, most 60 year olds I know don’t really worry about body image. Most of my elderly family have tattoos from the military, my great grandfather had a hula girl on his forearm from when he was in the Navy in WW2.
