I am tempt to pre-order Princess Peach, but with the amount I spent this month it will have to wait to January or Feb.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time looks interesting too.
@The_Pixel_King Enjoy your day and spend some quality time with the people you love!I am sorry for your loss, and it's great to hear you were able to recover from it.
Merry Christmas Nintendo Lovers! Hope everyone is having a lovely day wherever you are in the world. Here in Spain where I am currently it's nice weather, perfect for sitting outside with my Switch and enjoying some games.
@ERIC_MACK Indeed, I wonder why they did continue with it in TOTK. Being an open world game means the player can go everywhere and stumble upon tears/memories in whatever place. IMO it would have been better if the main plot would have been triggered in order no matter where you find the next tear.
Every big game is open world nowadays, I would welcome a game which gives a set path on the main story at least. I can't be the only one who did find the memory tears in a complete wrong order in TOTK.
@Beaucine I will do exactly that, trying the original first and the remake after. Will see how it goes, I am intrigued about them as they both seem to be very good.
@-wc-
Much appreciate your reply!
As someone who has never played the game, the first time I looked at the remake 2D version, my mind and thoughts were exactly as you described, I perceive it as a tiny, dinky, even cute little adventure. For me personaly, Zelda games shouldn't look ''cute''.
My very first Zelda game was A Link to the Past, so am all for pixel graphics.
I decied I will try the original first.
@Not_Soos
Thanks for the detailed reply! I agree that the quality of life improvements you mentioned from the remake do make it sound more enjoyable to play but I think I will try the original first and if it gets too frustrating I might give the remake a try. Mind you on some local game stores you can find some older Switch games at a discounted price which might be the case with this game.
Scarlet, possibly some Slay the Spire. Maybe some other side games, will see. Currently my free time is devided by a new little kitten and some gaming. She enjoys watching Pokemon anime on my switch so I guess my console will be occupied
I might be the only one but Gargoyles Remastered brings back old memories, I watched the show as a little kid.The only game from the list I plan to get.
I don't use social media for reasons.Never used it and probs never will. But pretty weird to see the word “FOMO” in an article like this.I only know the term related to selling tactics like the ''limited time only'' deals and stuff like that.
The area could be a bit bigger but I did enjoy the story and I like the music and ambiente. But I got a Piplup in my mystery egg and I wanted a Turtwig...

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Mario Golf: Advance Tour
Na/Eu version, I like how it represents Mario as serious golfer.
Peach's cute dress is a bonus.
Re: The Pokémon Company Donates 50 Million Yen To Aid Japan's Earthquake Victims
While it surely isn't that much money for a company like Pokemon, it's still nice to see them caring about their people and helping out.
Re: Meowscarada Wins Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Popularity Poll In Japan
From Gen 9 my favourite has to be Sprigatito. But nothing beats the starters from the first generation.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Hey! Pikmin
Both are really pretty but I prefer the European one because it seems more friendly.

Late to the party, but I did buy it yesterday for 1 Euro at the e-shop and I regret nothing. It's great!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 11th)
I got no idea really. I was thinking of getting Mario Kart 8 but not sure. The last Mario Kart I played was back in the days at my SNES.
Re: Site News: Nintendo Life Turns 18 Today
Happy Birthday NL!!!
Re: Tears Of The Kingdom Continues To Prove That 'Open World Zelda' Is A Best-Selling Formula
While I did enjoy the open world in BotW, ToTk gets little too overwhelming for my taste with having sky islands,Hyrule and the Depths.
Re: Microsoft Will Think Of Nintendo Users As "Part Of The Xbox Community" Going Forward
I don't want to be part of the XBOX Community, thanks but no thanks.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Kirby Mass Attack
Eu/Jpn because it looks way nicer.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Still Making Them, So What amiibo Do You Still Want To See?
I NEED a Rauru and Sonia amiibo.
Comon Nintendo, such a missed oportunity...
More Pokemon would be nice too, where is Miraidon and Koraidon?
Re: Reminder: The New Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom amiibo Are Now Available
I did order them both but only got Ganondorf so far. Still waiting for Zelda.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: The Lion King
EU without doubt, sometimes less is more.
Re: Zelda Voted 'Favourite' Tears Of The Kingdom Character In Recent Famitsu Survey
My vote goes for Sonia and Rauru.Loved them both.
Second place would be Sidon.
Re: Talking Point: Which Version Of Super Mario Bros. 3 Do You Prefer?
Super Mario All-Stars - SNES (1993) for sure!
Back in the good old days it was my most played Mario game.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Professor Layton And The Unwound Future
I like the European one because it reminds me of a book cover.
The characters being inside the clock is also a nice detail.

Re: Random: Footage Of Nintendo's Weird Zelda: Majora's Mask E3 Event Resurfaces
@-wc-
I never played Link's awakening , is the original better or the remake?
Re: Random: Footage Of Nintendo's Weird Zelda: Majora's Mask E3 Event Resurfaces
Majora's Mask was THE Zelda game per se for me.Still is, together with Twilight Princess and BotW.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Actraiser
Never played the game so I got no clue what the game is about.
Voted for JP regardless.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 7th)
Scarlet, possibly some Slay the Spire.

Re: Soapbox: TOTK's Ganondorf Is Great, But Zelda Needs To Do More With Its Villain

I might be the only one but Gargoyles Remastered brings back old memories, I watched the show as a little kid.The only game from the list I plan to get.

Twilight Princess & Majora's Mask remake for Switch.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Yoshi's Cookie
This one is difficult for me because I like them both, but I will need to go with JPN simply because the more variation of cookies the better, right?

Slay the Spire and possibly some Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
